We had a great stay at Thornybush, where we spent four nights in April. Our team - Sean & John The Best - were really great at finding us animal sightings, with two leopard eating their kills on two different days!The lodge is nicely laid out with plenty of social distancing. The food was really good, with great attention to detail and catering for all needs.The spa is also very nice, I arrived with a bit of a neck spasm after the long drive from Joburg, and they sorted me out with a great back & shoulder massage.The rooms have everything you would need/want, but one criticism is the fact that the beds are about a full meter off the ground, so its a bit of a mission to get into bed when youre short.Overall, a fantastic lodge, with great safari experience.

Beautiful loadge with top service and fantastic food.Staff are very professional.family suit has a own pool(I think its heated) which is really great but its really deep so becareful with young children.You can see the animal from your room, at night if weather is good you can see beautiful stars.Gamedrive was fun and really great and educational as well!!

We did 5 nights at Thornybush a few years back. Stay was marvelous on all levels . Although I’d say 3 nights might be enough maybe 4, 5 nights was to long.. things became redundant. Do the walking safari !

My stay was amazing! They take care of everything to the smallest detail. I stayed in room 20 which was amazing. It is one of two rooms at the resort to have private plunge pool. The meals were excellent and varied. Each night there was a different type of dining experience, fine dining, bbq etc. I do highly recommend staying 3 nights to ensure you see everything you want to.

What an amazing experience! Our ranger and tracker (Enoch and Freddy) were so experienced that we got to see everything we wanted and more! The bundu bashing was so much fun! And out porter Shepard was our got to guy for anything and everything we needed, we were truly spoiled! A perfect family getaway!

A terribly disappointing four days. Food substandard at all meals. Bar selection hopeless.. no gin glasses or range of sugar free drinks. waiter service/food area service poor to none existent.
