This was one of the most incredible holidays I have ever been on.The staff are so wonderful, it was such a pleasure to have such amazing customer service! Food and drink was awesome as well! They catered for ALL of our dietary requirements from vegan, to paescaterian.We also had the most amazing sightings- well definitely be back!

We were treated like stars here. The staff are super friendly and so helpful. The accommodation we had was beyond what was expected and the food was absolutely delicious.

Booked a Game Drive / Dinner. Super value for money. Sidney the guide/driver was very friendly and had all facts ready for any questions. The dinner was well prepared and tasty and served outside at the most amazing spot. Highly recommended!

We had an incredible stay over the weekend, definitely worth your money. Our guide karel knew everything about the Bush from animal tracks to trees. Staff was outstanding, food was great. They even catered halaal food for us which was great. Definitely a 10/10

A much needed break during Covid-19.Amazing staff with breathtaking views. Food absolutely delicious. Accommodation very comfortable and if you stay in one of the Olifants Villas you are lucky to have your own deck and pool which overlooks the river.I was lucky enough to meet the owner of this outstanding lodge during my stay.I would highly recommend a visit to Nyati.

A terrible road up to the lodge. No one informed us. Luckily we were in our SUV. When I asked for a cappuccino at breakfast they did not have 😳😳 3 times roast beef in 2 days. Pack aging of sugar and coffee was not emptied by the maids. Only scrambled eggs for breakfast they never offered poached or fried eggs. Overrated, better lodges in SA

Amazing and loving StaffThe team was very co-operative planning my wifes birthday suprise celebration and everything was amazing. The champagne, food and staff was good. Kate and Zaan together with Ntate Joseph thank you for amazing reception. We even left my wifes earing and we called everything was still there. Thank you Nyati and will visit you soon

A truly fantastic place with the most genuine staff and guides. Lots of animals in the Kruger reserve and amazing nature. We had a wonderful week and we can’t wait to visit again. I can highly recommend Nyati!

Horrible stay! Id never go back there and would recommend anyone with ANY special requirements to not go there either. Despite of several emails with the staff before arrival telling them of my dietary requirements, I was brought out all meals with either Pork (which I dont eat as my religious belief) or onions (which I am severely allergic to). It wasnt once, it was every single meal for the night I stayed there. To add to that, after a long day at the game drive, when I got to my room, the shower in the room did not have any hot water. My husband and I spent almost an hour and a half waiting for someone to come fix it and when we finally got tired of waiting (at 10pm), we asked them to just come in the morning when we were on our early morning 5am game drive. Being the inconsiderate staff and management they are, someone knocked at our door at 11:35 pm to come in and fix it. We had made sure to call them and tell them that were sleeping so make sure nobody comes, they didnt care. The guys kept knocking until we woke up and opened the door. They came in and out several times until they finally fixed it at 1am. We finally slept at 1:30am and woke up at 4:30 am for the game drive. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!

Nyati

Nyati is a fine place, but you have to be aware that it is a large Danish colony of good and evil. The cabins are fine and the location very nice next to a river with hippos and crocodiles. elephants!The safaris are problematic, there is really a lot of driving in LandCruiser where you rattle around and see relatively few animals!Generally it is a reasonable place, but if you compare with Tanzania then I would prefer Tanzania!

We are now sitting 12 happy adults & children at Johannesburg Airport waiting for the trip home to Denmark ... the talk goes merry about everything we have experienced in the past week at Nyati Camp = 3 beautiful leopards, a whole lion family, lots of elephants, crocodiles, 8 hippos lay bathing close to our cabin, etc. 🤠👍 AMAZING !!!We would love to come again & again 🤩

Nice place, great service and beautiful surroundings.Disappointing, however, was that much of what we were promised at home in Denmark could not be done when we were finally at the lodge. In addition, several of the trips were not planned properly and especially the trip to the fantastic Drakensberg, was a big disappointment. There was yapping through and you barely got to experience the different viewpoints. And last stop in the old mining town was a huge tourist trap and should be deleted completely from the program. Instead, more time could have been spent on the other three stops.

Didnt have the high expectations before we arrived. But then stop for a place. Super sweet staff leaked food and great location so wildlife like hippos elephants giraffes can be seen from the balcony.Pure conditioner for the soul

Fantastic experienceWe were at the Nyati Safari Lodge for a week and it was an unforgettable experience.Their tour program is a bit tight, but is made so that you get the most out of your stay.Their game drives are in a very quiet area where you rarely meet other cars. It gives a unique opportunity to be close to the animals without stress for them and for themselves.The food is absolutely unique. Very tasty dishes prepared with great enthusiasm.The staff are super nice and knowledgeable. Everyone fights a big battle for all guests to have a good experience.Implemented fantastic experience.

Nice place, sweet staff, Was there for 2 weeks the first week was really good, week 2 was less good, got cold food, the kitchen was not geared to approx. 60 people.

We are here now (November 2016)! Wonderful with lots of animals around the corner. Incredibly good, service-oriented staff and the food and winters are almost first class.

Was there in 2013 to celebrate our golden wedding.We felt like counts and barons, were spoiled with champagne and cake on the day. All in all, a wonderful place. We give 5 stars

Absolutely amazing place. The service is top notch, the food is delicious (it is made a little European-friendly but still with lots of local produce). The lodge area is in the wild. There are both morning bush walks (out in the wilderness with a local guide with rifles on the back), sundowners (evening walks out in the wild with a good bottle of wine) and lots of excursions from the place, both on Nyatis own grounds and out in Sydakrifa. All tours are with local guides who all know what they are talking about and are passionate about their work. Good and yes, luxurious, way to get on Safari.

Nyati safari lodge absolutely great place overlooking a river with elephants crocodiles hippos baboons several deer lots of beautiful birds. Bus tours highlights leopard in wood eating your prey. Beautiful white owl. Zebras. Many elephants with children. Sunset over the whole area. Outstanding place. All buildings have a balcony overlooking the river.

Lovely place we had a great holiday with many good experiences. Service in the top food perfect good ranger fine excursions the villa we stayed in had swimming pool which was super. It fits well with 5 stars.

Very cool experience. Beautiful view from the cottage over the Elephant River. Super service from both the cleaning, the ranks and the guides. I was only there for 1 week, but then I have to come again another time! I had nothing to do with the Danish sales office, but was told that they were not the most enthusiastic employees .. The experience down there, in contrast, weighed up for it.
