Make sure to plan and visit Raptor... Its a retreat for sure. The rooms are clean and well put together. The place is amazingly nice, the staff gives the best service they make you feel like royalty 👌🏽A good place for a celebration, family, friends and for definitely a romantic getaway.Thank you so much to the owners for making our stay a pleasant one. I will definitely come back again.

This was my 2nd stay at Raptor Retreat and it was just as fabulous as the 1st time. The accommodations are so comfy and upscale and the location of lodge/camp is so wonderful for viewing animals even before a game drive. The owners and staff will ensure your visit is wonderful.

Wow Raptor Retreat Game Lodge is the best of the best. Great hosts, absolutely delicious food, friendly staff, breathtaking views a! We had a wonderful 3 day spent here.We love the bush, the game drives, the staff here.Arina took us on a sunset game drive with beautiful landscape, animals watching and cool cocktail. My partner loved the beef jerky while I enjoyed the pretzel snack

Me and my girlfriend came all the way from New York a few weeks ago. Raptor retreat was one of the most amazing places we have ever stayed! Everyone made you feel at home and did everything they could to make our stay the best it could possibly be!! The animals were incredible and the staff was even better!! Amazing Safari experience. This place was beautiful, safe, with a very welcoming and lovely crew, always ready to help you and make the most of your stay. Game drives were very good, with great guides that knew where to go. The best hotel stay in Balule Parsons Reserve.

Raptors Retreat have a wonderful team who are passionate about wildlife and their guests experience. Excellent value for money. My wife and I have traveled quite a bit and this was truly one of the most welcoming experiences we ever had. They maintain a small number of guests to ensure a personal connection with every guest. Often we directly interacted with the management and were made to feel incredibly at ease. We tried both the driving and walking tours and were incredibly impressed with the breadth and depth of knowledge of the Rangers. Furthermore, the facilities and staff at the lodges were incredible, providing responsive and high quality service throughout our visit. We also used the massage and laundry services to great value. I would recommend the raptor lodge to anyone interested in an authentic yet safe experience of the African wilderness.

OMG. What a beautiful lodge, owners and staff so lovely. One of the top experiences of my life..... , so knowledgeable and passionate about what they do. If you dont stay here its your loss. Food excellent, staff excellent, accommodation excellent. Words do not do Raptor retreat justice and allready planning our return. Ps there are smoking areas.

OMG: now I am writing my own travel report regarding South Africa and I see that it is more than two years ago that I visited Keith! It was in November 2016 and it was a wonderful Lodge! I had the Elephant Lodge and the rooms were large, luxurious, fantastic view to the wilderness, bath and shower fantastic. Small swimming pool outside. Large bed with mosquito net. Fridge is fully filled and Keith has a good arrangement of wines! Keith did as well the tour and you feel he is loving his job! And we saw elephants and lions very (very!) close... Sharmaine did breakfast and dinner for me: more delicious than a restaurant can ever do... So my recommendation for you: BOOK NOW! BE FAST

Had to cancel our stay in autumn 2020 due to Corona free of charge. We had paid a deposit of over 500 euros, which was not refunded to us. We were put off until February 2021, now it was said that nothing would be paid. I will no longer pay deposits !!

Amazing! The Lodge is great, the rooms even better, and the hosts Yolande and Irina are a plus of the place. They know how to make you comfortable, are caring and make your stay a unique experience.Points 10: shower, extremely large room, comfort, hostesses and staff.Important points: The toilet is of the open type (without doors) and this can be uncomfortable for some people (mainly Brazilians who are not used to it). Meals are served buffet style at a large table for 10 people. In other words, all the guests eat together, but when the hostesses stand out, they can make people who want to be surrounded and make them comfortable (dont be afraid of it).Things we need to know: The Raptor Retreat is in the Great Krüger, the part attached to the original Krüger that opened its borders for animals to circulate. Well, Im no safari expert, but I think Krüger has more animals than Great Krüger. But to know if this is true you will need to visit both of them one day.It is very worth it! Great value for money and great stay!

We love everything!The people at the hotel are wonderful and kind.The room is huge, beautiful, comfortable and clean.The experience of an all-glass room on safari is really cool. Besides the room being beautiful.Their food is very good.And the tours we did were great.

Beautiful resort in the middle of the Balule ReserveWe stayed during our stay at Elephant Lodge. The lodge is beautiful. Very chic, modern, clean and luxurious. The personnel is very friendly and courteous. The service is right. The food, in which the owners of the lodge itself mostly participate is very very good. We did not eat as well on the whole trip as here. The public area of ​​the resort is beautiful and romantic. The game drives were great fun. We learned a lot from it.The refrigerator could be integrated into a cabinet due to the look and the volume, but it does not matter. Unfortunately, no walking tour was offered when we were there.
