What a lovely place to come to. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The bush camp has great amenities and is on such a nice location with Nyala strolling throughout the camp. The idea of ‘glamping tents’ is really great and will be sure to stay in them next time.

Clamping seems to be the highlight of this Camp. For Campers, sites need to be leveled out. No taps near the sites, a bit of a schlep, considering the red sand. Owners lovely people, very attentive. Nice shop & pool. Enjoyed the Nyala buck around the camp.

We are a family of four and stayed for three nights in one of the luxury tents. It was the most amzazing glamping experience, we really loved it. The tents were fully equipped with everything you need, it had two bedrooms with very comfortable beds, a little kitchen/dining/ living room and a bathroom with a super modern shower. The whole place was very neat & clean and decorated with lots of love to details. All staff we met there was super friendly, especially Trienke, the owner who was very helpful.

Just the kind of place you need for an RnR glamping. Trenke our host is very accommodating and even got us upgraded during our stay. There were attendants that kept the rooms tidy daily, I didn’t quite expect that but definitely a plus. We came with our 13 y/o and 2 y/o. We were lucky enough to witness a big group of elephant migration during the game drive organized by the host . We also did the mini hike within the property. Their picnic area offers a good amount of small animal viewing which my children enjoyed so much. My only regret is that, we did not bring our scope, but there’s always a next time.

The experience was horrific! The couple that own it was very nasty to us, we had a problem with our transport, basically having our tyre come off as we were driving and they didnt want to listen to reason, our lives were in danger and all they were interested in was cussing at us, and asked to leave in a very nasty manner, the words used was disgusting! We had to leave to go back home at 10pm at night, arriving home after Midnight, Very disappointing! I would not recommend at all!

To all nature & camping lovers.. Hluhluwe Bush Camp is the place to go and relax. Everything was excellent!! From the friendly staff to the comfortable beds, the wild and night life. To the best pizzas we ever had and the absolute beauty of nature.I highly recommend this peaceful most beautiful place to everyone.Phone Triencke, make a booking (she is so helpful and bookings made through her was so fast done and dusted) pack your bags. Remember to bring you food as all the clamping tents are self catering and bring your cooler box along. Kick out your shoes and just relax. My husband and I are definitely going back and next time with family and friends.

This is a hidden gem in Hluluwe, Glamping at it’s best. Located in front of a small game reserve, this place is ideal to go for camping and wind down. Would definitely give it a 5 star. The tents are luxurious and the owners and hands on, the food at the stall is also always amazingly prepared in case you don’t want to self cater. There is a swimming pool as well as a hiking trail that lets you up and close with the animals.

Trienke is such wonderful host she goes out of her way to make the guests feel at home. My husband just asked about a birthday cake and she offered to make it and brought me balloons and came personally to wish me. Thank you HBC for making our bush camp experience such a memorable one. I visited Hluhluwe Bush Camp when it just opened. I love the place, very tranquille, in the middle of nature and perfect for a weekend getaway. I love the farmstal as it allowed us to stay at the camp or didnt have to drive around doing groceries every time. The area around camp provides beautiful hikes as well as great activities. I would definitely recommend this place :)

I dont even know how to rate this place because we booked almost 2 months in advance. When we got there, she kicked us out before we even unpacked. She said we were black and she has an experience with a group of black people. We were left to find a place to sleep in Hluhluwe, at night.
