We visit this place 5 times in 7 days when we stayed in Hazyview. We cant get enough. Best seafood and Pizza. And the manager is the best. I recommend this place if you love pizza like me 🍕🍕🍕

Dont let the trucks screaming by put you off. Once youre settled in under the giant fig tree and you have your first glass of wine served with a smile you wont even hear them. Generous portions of really good food. The caprese salad came with proper buffalo style mozzarella. We asked for a combo of tomato and cream for two seafood pastas, and they were happy to oblige. A really lovely experience.

This giant tree and the resident cats are the only positive mentions in this review. Firstly, we were seated by a server who asked for our drinks order and after we asked for sometime to decide, proceeded to disappear. 10 minutes later, we had to usher down another server who proceeded to take our full orders. After 37 minutes our food had still not arrived so I decided to get up and ask to speak to the manager. I waited a further 8 minutes until the manager decided to grace me with her presence and she was totally unapologetic. She told me that the minimum wait is 45 minutes. When I asked why this isn’t communicated to the customer she told me that they’ve had a “hectic day”. I was then told that I should be a “little more patient” and that our food would arrive shortly. When it did arrive, my partner’s basil pesto pasta was totally void of flavour and the presence of any of the purported ingredients. To be fair, 2 out of the 4 dishes ordered were enjoyed by their respective consumers. It’s also worth mentioning that the sparkling water had less gas than a bean-free diet. If you’re considering Topolino’s, there are two restaurants in the same centre that have similar market positions. It might be worth trying them.

Perfect pizza, couldnt ask for more. 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻 The outside seating is under a massive tree, which is very nice and cool. Will surely visit again.

I have traveled the world and eaten at Michelin Star restaurants. I can honestly say that the pizza base is perfect, the cheese they use is not the best but perfectly acceptable.Definitely a place to try if you are tired of the norm.

Good food. Good service. Had the most relaxing early dinner with the wife. We tried alot, focacia was excellent. Pizzas were great. Snails were to die for. Almost died because of the chicken livers but I cant handle the heat. (Still was the best Ive ever had though) 10/10 would visit again.

Absolutely fantastic restaurant.The service was great, the menu is great and there are enough different options to please everyone, as well as a specials menu, with more great options.The food was brilliant. Between our group, we ordered pizzas and pastas. The pizza was one of the best Italian style pizzas Ive had, perfectly thin and crispy bases, with generous toppings on all pizzas.The pasta, which is made from scratch, in-house, was absolutely fantastic, as were the sauces and toppings they were served with.We also ordered a side of fries/chips and even those were perfectly crispy as well as light and fluffy on the inside.I Would definitely recommend this restaurant and will definitely visit again, if Im in the area.

We visited Topolinos in Sabie and we were so impressed we returned 2 nights later before returning to Gauteng and again enjoyed a great meal.

We arrived at 19:15 on a Sunday night, party of 4. We did understand that the kitchen closed at 19:30 so placed our orders immediately. When the food arrived - the pasta was extremely over cooked, the chicken schnitzel was cremated, lasagna was so stodgy it was almost inedible, chicken wings were ok but the chips were absolutely amazing. Not sure whats happened as weve always had great food everytime weve visited.

The pizzas were so fresh and flavorsome, our pasta was so tasty we did not use any seasoning, ribs were succulent, even the chips were delicious! Enjoyed the Tiramisu and Baked Cheesecake! Special mention to the generous portions.Would definitely recommend.

Initially when we went the first day we were happy with the food and it didnt take so long.We would have preferred a happier waiter who spoke more.On our visit the second day, it was sad that eventhough they were busy nobody came to tell us that there was a backlog in the kitchen or to please be patient nor were we offered anything complimentary and as a result the pizza was caked with flour on the side and 1 pasta had to be returned as it was too salty.All the waiter could tell us was that no salt had been added.I think they definitely need more staff that are more friendly to their customers unless they overworked.....We could only see 3 waiters and 2 young waitresses of which the one kindly helped us eventhough it wasnt her table....No one really at the entrance checking or welcoming you.Its sad, this place does have potential!

Restaurant is nice, food OK but sadly on a really busy road, full of ore trucks carting goods to Maputo which is noisy and unpleasant, not the owners fault so sit inside if you can. Believe a new bypass is on the table but who knows...

Tops again ! No visit to Hazyview is complete without our having a meal here. Their pizzas have the right thin base with a variety of fillings. The Pescatore is my favourite. Wife chose the Osso Buco Alla Milanese, a meat dish of equal quality. Wine choices are good. My disappointment was no Sabie Brewing Co draft but they had a good selection of the bottled beers. Enjoyed under the big tree, keeps memories alive, especially if after a long day in Kruger.

Food was bellissimo, ordered the Ragu, supposed to be a beef, creamy mushroom, and wine dish, BUT, there was no visible mushrooms, and neither a taste of VINO in the dish, If there was some white wine, not enough, but should have been red wine with beef. Never the less, all the trimmings were present, the side dish with the garlic, chilli, and parmesan, as well as rooibaard hot sauce were there to doctor the dish, adding the balsamic help to get the wine flavor at least.

We were 80 people arriving long after 14h00. The waiters and kitchen staff were simply brilliant at managing the huge numbers. They worked like a well oiled machine without management intervention.The kitchen turned out dishes at a very good pace whilst maintaining good quality.Well done to the service staff!!!!!

Service was a bit slow the cappuccino was cold and the chicken tasted old. Might be due to the lockdown restrictions. But I still wished the service would have been good because the place was semi empty

First of all, service was great! Salad and pizza was good and tasty, but the pasta was over cooked and the sauce wasnt very good. Deserts werent good also . I expected more from an Italian restaurant.

We were a table of 6 adults and 2 kids. The place was not full, yet, even though we ordered starters and mains together, our main meal of pizzas and pastas took an hour and a half to reach our table. The pastas were well received but the pizzas were past being crisp and more overcooked and dry. Our waiter, however, was attentive and efficient.
