Awesome venue, kid friendly, should definitely consider if wanting to stay outside the KNP.

4 stars for location, scenery, decor. 5 stars for service and staff friendliness. 2 stars for drinks menu(non alcoholic that is). Virgin mocktails and smoothies. Not sure if its the lack of alcohol or bad recipe but would definitely not recommend that. Havent eaten here so not sure about food options. Tea and coffee decent though and a pleasure having with a view of the sabie. Ill revisit for the view and a cup of tea with very good service.

Is the best resturant in hazyview

Good food but we got several error with our order including an allergen so one of us couldnt eat their main. As compensation we got some good wine and they really did apologise. But be very careful if you have allergies.Very nice view over some rapids and very calm. Very friendly staff. Would go again but take the time and explain allergies twice.

Totally enjoyed being here. Went to cool off with a cocktail and leave but ended up spending 5 hours...enjoying the peace that comes with this place...watching over the peacefully flowing river, watching trees - looking over a mountain i can still remember very well and listening to the sound of singing birds.

I had a lovely lunch yesterday. Ordered the hawaiian pizza and virgin mojito cocktail was pleased by the quality of the food and service. A very good experience! Also the riverside view adds to perfection.

The morning walk was a lot of fun even though it was raining, it kept us cool and made rain drops on the plaints which made beatiful photos

It was my wifes birthday on Saturday 20 Feb and with the resort manager Marties MASSIVE help, Bash the restaurant manager & all the staff went out of their way to make my wife feel special by arranging flowers on our breakfast table and best of all a birthday cake. We had an absolute feast every time we sat at the restaurant.So overall your restaurant was excellent accept for the fact that Rump, Lamb Shank and T-bone was out of stock on Saturday evening. If those dishes are anything as good as the Eisbein I had I am really sad I missed the opportunity to taste it.The only one other thing appart from the out-of-stock menu items was the fact that the childrens play area was closed. Even when my 6yo son and 2yo daughter were the only kids in the restaurant it was not considered a safe place by the staff. We did see a sanitizer fog machine being used to spray the restaurant which is sufficient to sanitize the play area once or twice a day.We really want to give a big thank you to Bash the manager and Priscilla our waitres who were both at the restaurant serving us at 08h00 for breakfast and again at 18h30 for dinner on the same day. The other staff we would like to mention and give a special thanks are Innocent, Bernard, Shadrack, Mieler, Richard & Prisca. They are all amazing and I can see why the restaurant got back on its feet so quickly after the recent floods.Thank you all, we look forward to enjoying future meals at The Reserve At Rivers Edge.Unit L126 (19/02/21 till 22/02/21)

Beautiful place situated on the banks of Sabi River.Its name is actually Aan de Vliet , probably due to new ownership.Very comfortable, self-catering units.

Sunday lunch pathetic. Ordered a rib eye steak, got chuck.Ordered a salad with Parmesan and anchovy, got cheddar shavings with no anchovies. The chips was dark brown.....Cleary they only turn the oil once a month. Staff is friendly, great view of river, but the chef is clueless. What a pity. L

Cats are being kept right below where food is being prepared in the kitchen. Asked management if the animals can be removed from that area inside the restaurant for hygienic purposes and she advised that they are part of the establishment. I am an animal lover but from a health code perspective its not appropriate or welcomed.

Beautiful place next to the river, we stayed over in the logcabins - river facing, these units needs some work especially the bathroom and kitchen. The power tripped about 5 times over the weekend and stayed off for about 4 hours. Other that that we had a pleasant stay.

Friendly staff at the restaurant

A beautifully decorated restaurant on the grounds of the Hazyview Cabanas complex. The beef fillet is highly recommended and tastes like a good steakhouse. The breakfast is also ok. The staff is unfortunately very mixed.

What a nice quiet eatery. Friendly service and the dishes are to dream of.
