I visited the place for the first time and it was love at 1st sight 😍, very safe investment, the place is luxurious, no noise, you get to enjoy your peace of mind. The bed is comfortable as well, everything is awesome about this place, no complaints.

Clean. Affordable. Absolutely beautiful decor. safe. Friendly and professional service. Great food. Ask for Savemore, he is the greatest host, always made sure we had everything we need and checked on us constantly. Lovely view. Stunning pool. View of the dam. Braai area is lovely. We enjoyed our weekend stay. Savemore and Tinashe provided excellent and friendly service.We will definitely be coming back here.More staff is needed as it becomes difficult for the 2 gentlemen to deliver their normal great service when it gets busy, other than that everything else was perfect

Do not book this place EVER!! It looked lovely online om one arverts so we booked it happily and paid UPFRONT. As soon as we arrived we could see that it was not what we were expecting or what was advertised at all.The room wae extremely small and not like it was advertised - much smaller than a normal hotel room and about double the price.The balcony from the bedroom is apparentlycommunal as it joins the bedroom to the communal lounge area which anyone can reach - Giving them easy and unfettered access to our room.We found this shocking aswell as completely unacceptable and obviously very unsafe.We were not even there for 15 minutes before decided to leave and asked for a refund. At this point things became tricky and hard to understand- we could not get hold of any owner or manager or even anyone who could assist us in any way whatsoever.We requested a full refund as we thought this was only fair considering the amount of time we spent there.We have videos of our battle to get some kind of assistance aswell as of one of the staff members agreeing with us that it is totally unsafe.Finally we were advised to request a full refund on the booking.com site instead of going through the hotel, which we did, explaining the whole situation but the hotel still declined and charged us a r650 cancelation fee which is half of the total amount we paid.DO NOT BOOK A ROOM HERE. IT IS SMALL, UNPLEASANT, OVERPRICED AND UNSAFE

I never even got to stay there, instead when i got there at the security gate i was told my booking was cancelled.there was no communication about ghe cancellation but the booking fee was received and acknowledged a weekend before. It also looked like the bookings were messed up. Spoke to the owner via phone while i was at the security gate. Ended up asking for a refund for ny bookinv money and left. My whole birthday long weekend was ruined because my family and I were stranded and we tried to look for a booking and all places were full. We had to go home (Gauteng) with broken hearts and all weekend plans ruined because we did not have a place to sleep. The service was horrible. I would not reccomend anyone to book with them.

Not all rooms have a view of the dam only about 3 rooms have a view of the dam. The breakfast was served cold and we had to wait a long time for it. If your a coffee person request to make your own. Only 2 slices of bread for people sharing. The staff were not observing covid 19 protocols as masks were not on or sanitizing whilst interacting with different guests. The staff is friendly and willing to help as best they can.If you are looking for a romantic weekend away with your partner this is not the place to be, as it is not private and can hear interaction of the other guests. If you want a good time with friends and to have a jol this is the place to be.Upon arrival we were allocated a different room with a leak in the bathroom, there said payments were late despite me having called to find out if the suit I want to book is still available. They seemed to not even know if I made a booking payment or not as I was asked to show proof of payment despite me having called to confirm that the payment was made 2 weeks prior my stay. There was a confusion in bookings, although I called to confirm if my booking was still the same one they said yes but to be given a alternative room which was not to the specifications I booked for.To make up for the confusion we were offered the master suite for our second night stay and complimentary night to choose whenever it suited us and them. The master suite is lovely with great views but towels were dirty and needed changing which hadnt happened.After asking us to review the place and seeing our review the cancelled the complimentary night which was offered to is because we didnt give the review they expected.This was their response to usGood evening, we have read your review with disappointment. We serve breakfast between 7 and 9, you arrived at the station at 9:25 long after other people have eaten. Your complaint that you were served cold food is not fair. Your review is biased and thus Reunion Management has taken a decision to withdraw the complimentary night.The room you slept in the first night is more expensive than the one you booked, you were again given a Prisidential suite which is also expensive. The complimentary was just curtesy of clearing your complaint about the room which was a result of your late payment.Regards Linda

The service was very bad.. There was no No electricity since midnight our phones ran out of battery, we couldnt even iron our clothes and there was no communication from the management as to why theres no electricity.

We arrived at your guest house and we were ignored by your staff we stood at the door knocking and ringing the door bell and no one came to help us we eventually phoned and got through to someone who got some out to help us.He was not wearing a mask he instructed us to park and he took us to our room.The room was next a lounge and infact the private balcony was off the lounge there were people standing out right by our glass door. So please tell me how is that private.We had to go and ask for a room key.We ordered food and waited almost two hours for the disappointing meal. Guests next to us also complained about the crappie food.An hour before dinner I asked why we did not have hot water and was told the geyser tripped.After eating our meal I asked on the progress of sorting the problem there was none. They did nothing. The chef then came out and open the man hole the ceiling and said oh he cant get in there. M husband eventually had to get in the ceiling and check the geyser.My husband told them its tripping and they need someone to come out and fix it.An hour later he went to follow up with them and they still had not called or done anything to sort out the problem.We told them that we are leaving as we had a long day at work and travel and the least we expected was working hot water.The staff gave us a pamphlet and told us to call the number if we have a complaint we tried numerous times and the phone was eventually turned off.We packed up and left at roughly 23:00 at 00:01 we get a call saying that the water is fixed and we should come back we said we will not be coming back. We want a refund the manager got all snoty with us and focused more on why I am upset rather solving the problem.I will not loose R3400 for this pathetic service we work to hard for our money to just throw it away.This morning instead of phoning us with a solution, again the manager contacts us with recordings of our conversation we had the night before.I dont knownwhat she is trying to achieve, and will attach these recording in an email to whomever requires them.Unfortunately we have left and expect our refund at your earliest convenience.Your establishment is very unprofessional.They are not following health and safety protocol and guidelines regarding the current epidemic the world is facing.The room was dirty.We did not have towels.The service was terrible, we waited almost two hours for a meal.My husband had to climb in the ceiling to check the geyser because your staff was unable to do so.We asked numerous times what was going to happen regarding the geyser and why was it not checked before we arrived, why was our room not prepared properly.We did not have a private balcony as advertised on the booking website.We could not get hold of anyone in management when we needed assistance in fact my husband tried to call the cell number on the pamphlet in our room and the phone was simply turned off.The staff were incredibly incompetent, they seemed high or just completely out of it because when we would try and speak to them there was no correspondence.We left your establishment 3 hours after arrival. (After numerous attempts to come to a solution regarding the problems we faced.)You then phone us once we are home and tell us the hot water is being fixed and that we should come back.That is not ok , this is unacceptable and unprofessional. We demand our money back.We are very disappointed with your guesthouse, and the behavior of your staff.I will be taking this further with the board of hospitality.I expect an apology for ruining what was suppose to be good weekend away for my husband and I.

Elegant. Sophisticated. Beautifully furnished. Very relaxing and comfortable place to spend a weekend in Hartebeespoort. Staff were friendly n accommodating, especially Jared. Hats off to the owner, youve got a real gem in this gentleman. He took care of all our needs. Family venue, most definitely. We were all more than happy, perfectly capped off with a champagne breakfast on our last morning. Thank you Jared n Rose n staff

Gorgeous place. Friendly staff members. Unfortunately very little attention to detail.The DSTV didnt work on arrival, the fridge has to be unplugged in order to plug in the kettle, the bed lamps cant be used due to the fact that there are no 2 point plugs and the bathroom has no dustbin.Other than those few setbacks, we had a lovely stay.Thank you.

The place is beautiful clean and very modern. We had great stay and most of all felt very safe. Easy to find we did not struggle finding the location. Robert and Jarred were the best πŸ‘ŒπŸ‘Œ they greeted us on our arrival and we really felt welcomed. It was unfortunate that it rained tru out our stay but that did not make our stay bad we loved it and definitely coming back. Ooops how can i forget to mention food it was πŸ‘ŒπŸ‘ŒπŸ‘Œ the cheff shud get a raise πŸ˜‰ we honestly enjoyed our stay.
