I decided just to get a coffee and continue my trip, but when I saw the freshly baked muffins I ordered a coffee and bran muffin to sit down.The staff were friendly and I had good service.The Americano was nice, hot and strong.The muffin moist and tasty.I bought freshly baked pies to take home.Oh what a surprised they were packed with chicken and beef. The pastry was nice and thin.I can recommend Simply Delicious for a quick stop and take a way chicken and beef pies.

Just had two amazing beef and mushroom pies, very delicious. Very nice country cottage style eatery, bookshop, coffee shop and gift shop. Very clean and friendly service. Well done ladies.

Good honest food in a casual and warm setting. Little gift shop inside. Organic frozen meals sold as well. Worth a visit on your way to Durban.

Absolutely fantastic place to stop on a long journey. The food was tasty and well priced. The Hazelnut iced coffee was out of this world amazing. Three years between visits and it is still as good as the first time.

Used to give a really good serving of Salmon with their scrambled eggs, not any more! They need to reduce the price accordingly. Otherwise lovely as usual.

Disappointing on the whole. The food was fresh but lacked variety in every way. They offer home made pies and toasted sandwiches plus various small simple dishes. Totally unexciting. They should get a total makeover in menu and looks - the place was half empty on one of the busiest days of the year. Rather go to Mugg and Bean.

Very nice place to rest along the N3 and grab a bite for breakfast, lunch or tea.Offering rustic food and even real vegetarian options. No Wifi. Toilets are in opposite building next to Wimpys.Great pastry sweet and savoury. Fresh juice is delicious and service fairly quick.

Weve been stopping at Bergview for years now and weve never taken note of this little gem of store. Their coffee is great and so are their chocolate brownies and almond tarts. Delicious!!

Was disappointed that the service is slow and not friendly. The food is ok.the almond tart i ordered was mostly like a biscuit topped with almonds flakes!

In my book they provide average coffee and in general not very popular with tourists - at least while we were there. Nothing in the shop that begs you to come back again.

Quite nice dècor, cake and home-made pies to go with good coffee/tea, lovely gifts and homeware as well as jams, preserved ginger, olives, and even locally made sauerkraut. Unfortunately the service was a bit unfriendly - but perhaps it was due to the hot weather.
