Beautiful dining experience. From the moment you walk through the door the customer service is amazing. Lucy served us and we said we cant have bacon because we dont eat pork, she offered us various other options to replace the bacon, we ended up taking macon, which we did not even know they serve. The service was also very fast even though the restaurant was quite packed. Thank you Lucy and the rest of the team!

Must be honest, Ive dreaded M&B for a long time but we were cold and hungry and there wasnt really too many choices in terms of breakfast. So, we opted for M&B, and we were pleasantly surprised. Firstly, the service was great. After sitting us, our waitrin then had the heater switched on. The coffee wasnt bad, so was the food actually. Only issue was that the food was rather cool when it arrived, and although it was a very cold day, I think the food stood for a while before being dispatched to our table. Still, the service is what gets them 4 stars.

Definitely the best chicken mayo sandwiches in the country with a great option for a delicious well portioned muffin! They serve good coffee (if you are a serious coffee drinker rather go for an americano as their other coffee options are a bit too ‘milky’) they do have a great menu ranging from eat on the go/ light snack or lunch to a proper sit down meal.

Nice interior and very tasty food

We had a quick breakfast here on our way to Estcourt. It was relatively quiet and the service was quick and efficient. The coffee was great and the breakfast even better! The staff are very helpful and friendly, I will definitely choose M&B if I stop here again.

The Bergview 1-Stop is always busy. Mugg and Bean is probably the best choice - they have a great coffee selection, a good varied menu including breakfast that is available the whole day. The free wi-fi is also great. The service is friendly and efficient, definitely worth the stop on your way to Durban, the Midlands or the Drakensburg.

Tuesday 19Jan service very quick. Burger and chicken livers. Very good. Thursday21Jan long wait for meal. Chicken curry. Half an hour!! But tasty. Chicken livers very good

Food was okish, not the best franchisee. Probably will try somewhere else when travelling.

Food was decent but the portions were smaller and not as well presented as other branches.

I ordered a toasted bacon and egg. When the food came there was only one small piece of fatty bacon, the egg was hard and I had asked for Sunnyside up. The toast, egg and bacon as well as the chips were ice cold and tasted old. For the price you charge it was a bad meal. It is the first time I have visited Mugg and Bean since lockdown and was were very disappointed.

Stopped here for breakfast on our way to Joburg. Place was extremely busy but the service was prompt. The food was decent but not the best, the sweet potatoe chips along with the normal chips was not cooked properly.

Service was good and the waitress attentive. Did not advise team in error that tomatoe and basil soup was too sweet but bread devine

The service was slow, waited an hour for our food, the food was also not up to standard, all of us recieved a very small portion of chips with our burgars and the patties was disappointing.

Quick wake up coffee and snack on the road

This place felt like a lean version of a standard M&B. The menu seemed quite trimmed down: no wraps, very few toasted sandwich options. All in all it wasnt a bad experience, just missed the mark.

Had one great tasting smoked trout open sandwich, but horrifically expensive!!! Other than that, the same Mug & Bean vibe we are accustomed to.

Geat spot to recharge after a long journey but the food quantity for the price and compared to menu pictures is a joke.. used to be decent up to 6 months ago. To think I even added an extra egg.

We had a great waiter, she was on the ball, friendly and took great care of us! Loved my cappuccino with cream, great coffe! I enjoyed my meal and the food was prepared perfectly but two of my family members meals was a bit bland. Room for improvement

Great place to sit and rest before heading on your journey. Staff are friendly and helpful. It can get really busy during peak holiday times so be prepared to wait awhile for a table or you can use the take-away section if you want a coffee on the move.

16 Jan 2021 As always great Cappuccinos, reasonable muffins, but M&B (Bergview) need to learn what a croissant is. August Zang the creator of the croissant must be turning in his grave. The croissant (R34) was on the Gupta level of theft. It was the size of rusk and was stale, Im sure it was baked when Atul Gupta fled to Dubai in 2018. Not recommended at all.

After being shunted from the Mugg and Bean takeaway shop to here we were served a really lousy salad. Dissatisfied.

Excellent service, good food

Getting a bit tired of the staff not understanding their own app. We didnt choose to switch to the Mugg & Bean rewards app to make payments, you promoted it. So why Everytime we use it is there so much confusion? First you think we are trying to use Zapper. Then you think your app is only for earning points. 15-30mins later you finally believe that weve paid you.

Service was incredibly slow. Burger patties were over cooked. The only reason for stopping here is the convenience. We even opted out of having their coffee and stopped at Seattle Coffee afterwards. It seems this chain of restaurants in general are not keeping their original standards

We just want lovely iced coffee but cant win! One is a milkshake type which is rich and delicious, one other is just watery so went for the iced brewed coffee with full cream milk.... Disappointing... Is it really full cream milk-just as watery as the chino ☹️
