Mobile reception inside this mall is terrible. Phone lights up like a Christmas tree when exciting and unfortunately the Wi-Fi is not worth trying to connect to, in fact I havent tried since long before covid so maybe theyve made it better since but havent been willing to deal with the possible frustration...

For someone with social anxiety this place is perfect during off-peak hours.Between 6pm and 7pm on a weekday its perfect (assuming your required store is still open at that time - do research the individual store times. Dont call the mall information. Youll be disappointed).So dead/empty/quiet that its almost the perfect location for shooting a thriller movie.Youre welcome.

Range of stores, convenient parking. Only problem I always have a problem logging on to thier free WI fi. But perhaps thats me and not a general one.

I’m not a mall fan simply because I have no sense of direction. It’s the security and information staff that I am commending; they recognised that I had no clue as to where to go. I was actually escorted to where my car was parked.Hats off to them

Baywest Mall is a beautiful mall as it is one of the biggest in Gqeberha and has a lot of stores and restaurants and places of entertainment. I would definitely recommend people to visit it...

Much improved since my last visit. Benches have been placed all over to allow people to rest. Well done management. Very few take heed of customers needs.

Very spacious and clean shopping 🛒 mall with plenty of well-known stores housed under one roof. Safe for shopping and secure parking available. They only give 50MB free WiFi data (which is not enough as compared to other malls). But might be helpful to request electronic services.

We had to do a quick stop at the mall to drop off a Google surfboard for a friend Just be careful when you want to quickly leave and leverage off the first hour parking option. You have to first present your parking ticket at the payment bay before you can get out or activate the ticket. The queues are long and its in my opinion a waste of time. Especially to avoid unnecessary crowding over covid and long queues..

The restaurants close too early. Ive come here after work, hoping to get a meal and most restaurants or takeaways refuse to serve you after 18:30. Is there no way the restaurants can close later while remaining within curfew?

Best shopping experience ever,it caters for the whole family, theres entertainment and playing area for children, theres all the favorite clothing shops,grocery shops,skiing area,eateries, house appliances, wow 😱and packing space is awesome.

Lovely Mall!!... Everything you need is there!!... Just one thing, there is only one restaurant where you can sit and have a smoke!!... And thats the Spur!! Not that I have a problem with the Spur. Its just that you might want to eat something different, but then there is nowhere you can smoke!!... Please attend go that?

Baywest is likely the best mall in PE at the moment. It has spacious halls and never feels crowded, theres a nice foodcourt and a wide variety of stores. Baywest also has one of the few cinemas left in PE and the only ice rink Im aware of. I would suggest going here for entertainment or shopping.

Great place to go with friends or even to buy some daily essentials, though a little far for me personally I still find myself coming here with friends either to watch movies or even just to window shop. personally I cant skate but there is an ice rink. the upper level is more clothing stores whereas the bottom is more stores for just general items and household necessities as well as the food court with plenty of options for food.

Used 2 love shopping here, but its becoming 2 crowded, especially with the restriction that shld b in place during covid

Great Asain store that has so many gems and a one stop shop for Korean Ramen.

If you are a teenager, its a really fun place to be. You meet new people and new friends. The food court is good, they could use a HMs store though.

What a beautiful one stop Mall for most every human need! Restaurants, Entertainment, Clothing stores, Grocery Stores, Pharmacies, Banks, Tech related stores... Parking is very secure and love the undercover car wash business. I get everything done there. And if I cant... well, that hasnt happened yet. xD

There were no waiting in long queues. Staff are friendly and polite. I also loves the big space which means it doesnt feel over crowded.

Yo everyone wanting to come to Port Elizabeth, Baywest mall is the perfect place to go. There is so much to do there like Ice skating, waiting movies, Game Center and more there is so much to do there I recommend this place with a passion

I loved it so much, it has all one needs. Family friendly and very big. Loved that it has places for kids to play, left my kids at gravity and i did my shopping with no hassle. Very safe and friendly staff.It has this big screen and sitting place were i got to relax and lunch while my hubby was watching cricket. Would love to visit again.
