Love this place. Always a good view of the ocean and harbor, good quick service. The way they do their card machines/bills is lowkey weird, but still a cool place to eat and drink coffee.

A lovely setting. They were out of a few vital ingredients, so a number of dishes were not available, which was rather annoying. Also out of the soft drink that two of our group of ladies wanted. My meal was, however, tasty and enjoyable and my cappuccino was delicious.

This is a beautifully restored building. Dont be in a hurry though. The service is laid back to say the least. The food was good though and I will definitely visit the Heritage Cafe again.

Chef Gustav pours his heart out in his food. Delicious, fresh and great ingredients prepared in the smallest of kitchens make this even more special. Great setting and ambience.

I have stayed in PE for 15 years and although Heritage Cafe has been in business for 4 years , I have never visited this establishment. The owner Gustav was very friendly only being outscored by his fantastic chicken salad that was memorable to say the least. The coffee was on par as well with a spectacular ocean view. I would highly recommend all foodies and coffee shop hunters to give the Heritage Cafe a try.

It is located right in the heart of town, but remains rather secluded. I like that! The atmosphere and ambiance is lovely, friendly stuff, and the coffee is GOOD!

This quaint cafe is absolutely stunning and inviting. From the warm welcome when you step in the door, to the very comfy seats at the rustic tables. The coffee is simply gorgeous and you have to try the breakfast burger and scotch egg. Both are carefully prepared, presented beautifully and delicious! Sit back and relax in the calm atmosphere and enjoy the view and lovely surroundings in one of PEs oldest parts of town.

A hidden gem! Ample safe parking, good food and great service. They are only open for Breakfast and lunch, so you might find them closed if you go after 14h00 in the afternoon.

The cafe looks beautiful and is obviously popular but the service was pretty shocking, especially being told that anything we order (even just fruit and yoghurt) would take 45min, and there being no sense of interest in us actually sitting down and ordering / providing them with business. Disappointed as it had been recommended, but in the end left without ordering.

My favourite restaurant in PE! They serve the most incredible food. Always perfectly executed and very tasty. Their menu is constantly changing, with new exciting dishes to try out. Great atmosphere and amazing coffee (Mastertons make a blend specially for them).

Perfect place for girls nice out, and festive celebrations. Spoil yourself here!

Amazing food , best bfast in port Elizabeth hands down

We had a Christmas function there, but continuous table clearing resulted in items being removed before we had finished with these. The lack of airflow is a problem. I had to suggest that a brick be put at the back door to prevent it from closing all the time. BUT having said that, the food was really good and our host was very attentive. Great coffee.

The vibe and service is always greet!! A spot perfectly positioned for lunch time break-away or out of office meetings.

Although it might be hard to find, once you get there, the place is well worth the treasure hunt! A very little relaxed cafe with a minimal menu whilst still providing for a range of flavors. As a vegetarian, I was so impressed with the flatbread with hummus and poached eggs (plus more) and their coffee is absolutely fantastic! Such a quaint little comfortable place to meet friends for a brunch or late lunch. Would 10 out of 10 recommend!

Lovely gorgeous set up and decor. Arrived 2.45pm with boys for coffee and cake. Manager told me he had a meeting and shop closed at 3pm. So he couldnt help us. When I asked not even a coffee he said if its quick.If he was owner he would have us stay and make R150 extra for the day.

I had a lovely little breakfast with my mom this morning. For the first time I felt completely fulfilled, I had the best coffee and the mushrooms on toast was amazing. Our waitress offered the best service 🌟 a definite gem.

Its okay.Very cool, historic location. But the food wasnt impressive enough to warrant another visit. Slightly overpriced for what you get. Paid 55rand for a egg, mayo and bacon sandwich that came out of the fridge. Average.

Small and intimate situated in the new revival of Donkin precinct. Booking is essential.Manager was vigilant as we were told by a waitress that the inside area was filled.He called us back and made a plan for inside seating.We ordered hot drinks. Chai Latte is one of the best Ive had. Creamy and smooth.Our food order was Cape Malay Lamb Roti which was filling, spicy and very yummy.Excellent value for money.Ave. R110 per head including a drink.Waitresses are needing more experience.Cutlery had not been wiped down effectively. Had to get up to change as she did not notice our signals.Really liked the paperless bill system.Highly recommended. Will definitely go back...
