Situated being the Sunridge Park shopping Centre. Great place to discreetly meet and greet for coffee. Service is friendly and they offer both indoors and outdoors seating.

A casual restaurant well laid out and tasteful decor.We were a table of 16 and had one waiter. Ordered ice did not receive it at all. Service was a tad bit slow for my liking.Dishes are good portions and the food tastes very good.

Service was very slow. We waited over 40 min for our order. Food is average. I had chicken livers peri-peri which I love but this recipe had mushrooms in it and the combination just does not work. The transition from slimey mushrooms to gritty livers is not pleasant at all. I do believe one can order sans mushrooms but I wasnt given the option. The portion was average but the price not! I wonder if one has to order without mushrooms if the price would be adjusted. This restaurant is not for me.

Ive always had really good food for sit-down. Love their breakfasts, pizzas and chicken strips.I recently ordered a chic&mayo toasted tramezzini (Mr D delivery) and it was really really bland..Wont order takeaway again but will sit down. Lovely milktart latte.

The one lot of food was fine that was the omelets but the pizza was a hard crust was impossible to cut and difficult to chew. The drinks of cappuccino with vanilla cream and the frappe were very good. The service was not to bad.

My food was lukewarm and the chips were cold and tasted like theyd been made earlier and re-heated. I thought the coffee was outrageously expensive. Ive had a pleasant experience there before but I was very disappointed this time.

Always brilliant food

Cafe Capellini used to be a great restaurant but, now, the service is abysmal and the tables, chairs, cutlery and glasses are dirty (this is especially alarming during the COVID-19 pandemic). The waiter spilt our drinks and didnt clean it up and we had to ask for a cleaning cloth because of the dirt on the table. Definitely not eating at this particular branch again.

This establishment was recommended by my wife and son as a great place to have brunch.Out of our three meals, only mine had above 80% satisfaction rating.When you serve bacon and banana on toast, dont serve half a small banana that is not fresh.The chickenliver pot was so sweet that it became distasteful.My Salmon salad would have scored five stars if the quantity of Salmon (supposed to be the star of the dish) was not so unacceptable little. Yes, it still scored four stars with me.

The fresh juice combinations is to die for. Food is delicious and service is great. Worth while to spend time to experience the spirit of South Africa among the hanging succulent garden while birds are singing in the tree tops.

Capellini at Sunridge is always bustling. A safe choice with consistent quality. Very popular for both meeting for business and meeting with friends.Staff are always friendly and competent. Today Sharon helped me and was as good as always expected at Sunridge.I just wish smoking was banned at the outside seating.Patrons should poison themselves at home and not in public where we have to inhale their disgusting smoke.

We went to Capellini on Friday night just before it closed. I ordered a pizza and my partner orderd a pasta. The pasta was a good portion size and they offered him a choice of portion sizes. The pizza toppings are unusual combinations and really tasty. Thin crust which appeals to me. There was a special on Pizza and a cocktail (R99 for both), which I only noticed after the meal. It would have been better if she picked up that I had ordered a pizza and offered a cocktail and pointed out the special at the time of taking my order, but she did not. I asked the waitress for a cocktail towards the end of my meal. I should have passed on this, as it was sickly sweet and really not very tasty. So apart from the cocktail being a disappointment, everything else was great. a suggestion that maybe the waitresses do not call older gentleman Oom. Thank goodness I was not called Tannie! :) :)

Always a pleasant experience

Ordered a breakfast and chose the option with banana, and it arrived with bacon instead. I don’t eat pork, and luckily I noticed it before I took a bite. Not acceptable! If a hardcore vegetarian had bitten into it the restaurant would’ve had a serious problem on their hands! My husband and I both ordered soft poached eggs and both were hard as rocks. Cappuccino was also not great. Sadly it seems like the place has gone downhill.

Breakfasts at Cafe Capellini are THE BEST and with the 50% off breakfasts special, I got a Banting breakfast for like R25! What a bargain. It is usually quite busy but has free wifi for those of you who like to get through all your emails before breakfast is finished. The staff are always so friendly and we always have good service. Well done Cafe Capellini team

Another visit and once again all in our group were highly satisfied with their good service, delicious servings and friendly waitron. Cafe Capellini hummed with the noise of happy customers wading through stories of the day and good food. Thanks to the Cap and its good staff.

Nice little coffee shop situated at the Sunridge Park shopping centre. Theres an outside smoking section - always convenient and clean ablutions. We just had coffees this morning so I cant comment on the food.

Love their regular specials. Good value for money. This restaurant has become a favourite. From chicken schnitzel to pizzas to burgers...they do not disappoint.

We had my mothers farewell function here on Tuesday evening. We were a large group but John and his team were quick to accommodate us and set us up.Matthew served us and he was an absolute gem. So attentive and efficient. 👏 the pizzas were great as well and we will definitely be visiting again soon

The beef strips in sweet chili sauce wrap was terrible and over priced. The meat was like chewing rubber.Also there is only a single restroom which opens directly into the seating area... not exactly private

The kiddies area allows for the parents to sit and eat there while the kids play. We can keep an eye on them and know they are safe.PLUS: The food is really good too!

It used to be one of the best places in PE, but lately not anymore. Icecold Cheese griller and on Sunday the wrap felt like the fridge. Both times they had to warm it up. The Bar-one milkshake used to be big and the best in the country but now its a small but the price did not come down. We always took the family from Gauteng to enjoy the lovely food. We are seeking other places.

Went there today and ordered a cappuccino and coffee with chocolate cream. Had a sip of the cap and left it. My daughter had the choc cream then tasted the coffee and left it too. The mild Im both was awful. When we explained why we left them the waitress said there was nothing wrong with the milk its just boxed milk. Ok then. We ate out her below par meals asked for the bill and were shocked to see rhey has charged for the caps. I scratched them off and said I wasnt paying for them. She called the manager who said there was nothing wrong with them. Surely in a coffee shop it is not unreasonable to expect full cream frsh milk. If they say on menu its box we wouldnt have ordered. She then decided to charge for the choc cream which I said was fine. Wow what a joke for a coffee establishment. Kinda got a grillers vibe now. Plenty good coffee shops with proper milk and good coffee so dont need to hug them again.

Food was well presented, with a good sized serving. The outside area is south facing so will be popular in summer.

THE SERVICE WAS BAD, MUCH WORSE THAN IT USED TO BE. THE FOOD WAS EVEN WORSE.

Lovely vegetarian options added to the menu... Veg sandwich as well as pizzas! - UPDATED REVIEW...updated menu (less veg options and no substitutions). NO sharing and NO takeaways (or doggy bags) on the specials e.g. pizza special. So we were charged for an extra pizza - which would have been okay if the waitress had spoken to us first.

So where to start.....I am sorry but dont like posting like this but after this experience not so happy... We went for a Sunday lunch serving 3 meats, 2 veg and dessert, asked for the waiter what is offered and she advised us, we placed our order and one of the meats was no longer is stock and she could not offer us an alternative, after settling with Chicken and pork she brought my pork but it was only a only piece of oily fat with no meat left it as it was not sure wanna go back

Food is fantastic and the portions are great, however I dont believe the customer service was very good. Also there isnt something blocking off the smoking and non smoking areas, so the whole place smelled of smoke from the smokers outside.
