I always receive top-notch service here. Theres always great deals and sales on appliances and everyone from the sales assistants to the managers are superbly helpful and really clued up. The service is not at all good and not to mention that thier products are overpriced !! There was a pressure cooker that was marketed at R1600 when we had shown them the price on takealot for the EXACT SAME item they said they can give us the item for R1400, still not matching takealot (R1200), when I had asked why the sales man replied to me - “you get to take it home today” Expecting me to pay R200 extra to take it home immediately ! There was a lady who was also very rude sitting at a desk working out the discount. Guys check online first and go visit Makro down the road, this store has horrific customer service, despite loosing business over an item that was overpriced by R200, kind behavior/ service can go a long way.

This weekend I went in to buy a tumble drier. I was told there was one in stock and we proceeded with the sale. We waited in their store room for over 20 minutes before we were told that the one in stock is damaged. The sales lady stepped in and tried to arrange for another one to be brought in from another store, but it was damaged as well. We then decided to change to another make. They had no stock of this one either. One branch in the area had stock, but it was damaged as well. At this stage I requested a refund. The refund was processed and I was told that the funds would only reflect on Monday.It is now Tuesday and the money is still not in. I phoned the office now and I was told it could take up to 14 days! Disgusting service. I am supposedly getting a callback once this person has spoken to their headoffice. I am not holding my breath.

Quick as a flash the lady that answered the phone took care of everything and the technician was booked. No electronic voices to deal with - how refreshing!A follow up to my review, the technician from Whirlpool came to check the machine the day after my phone call. Now, the next day, Fiona from Hirschs phoned to make sure I was happy with the service! Im blown away by the service from both companies. Well done guys

Hello everyoneMy experience at Hirschs Meadowdale was the worst ever, There after service is Pathetic and disgusting like how many other customers have said in there reviews as well we purchased a LG Truesteem Dishwasher and a Samsung Washing Machine. They didnt tell us about either item that they had no stock, and where going to give us there Demo machines and when we decided to take the LG Dishwasher the guy who works there had it quickly wrapped up and when I asked him if the Manual Is inside he said yes when we reached back home (Polokwane) and opened the bubble wrap there was no Manuel inside and now after more than a week they couldnt send me the manuel or email itWorst of all when we opened it we found it damaged on the top under the Sales sticker how PATHETIC!!!I advice all of you customers to rather buy from carnival Hirschs

Stock is absolutely horrendous... Nothing is ever in stock and they keep saying they can get from other branches. When going into a store to buy a microwave, you want to walk out with the product. I dont want to hear they have stock somewhere else.I have been there 4 times in the last 2 months and every single time I am promised stock will come next week
