We hosted my best friend’s kitchen tea here and had the most amazing service. Our waiter, Hugo, went above and beyond to make sure we were very well looked after and even helped get our painted items a bit sooner as many of us came from all around SA and wanted to take them back home with us.The food and drinks were also delicious!Would highly recommend this spot, and Hugo in particular!

A popular eating place in George, the food is good and freshly made & the waiters are super friendly and very helpful. We like to support this well run business and the setting in the garden is very nice. The entrance to the pottery shop is in the gardens of the restaurant, however there is a door to the shop from the road to.

Relax, let your inner artist come out. Come and paint your own dish, cup r whatever is in stock. Have something to drink or something to eat. Enjoy!

The Pottery has a lovely vibe. Its got a pretty garden and lovely food on the menu. Their vegan range is delicious and their pizzas are great!

Excellent range of pottery. Plus a number of interesting other items in the back. Dont forget to go to the coffee shop - excellent coffee, good food. You can also paint pottery at the tables and collect fired results a week or so later.

We only went in for a warm drink.. sadly they only use long life milk.. but I had a fabulous blend of carrots ginger & apple juice..lovely..Service was slow.But I would go back if I came back on a mini break again

Fun place with reasonable menu, also DOG FRIENDLY! Nice garden and kids play area, inßide seating às well. You can paint your pottery here and have it fired for collection in a couple of days. Worth a visit.

Absolutely awesome place. Very chilled atmosphere. You can spend the whole day there! Play place for kids, safely near the tables. Beautiful umbrellas. The pizza is the best in George. Especially the pesto one. Service friendly and helpful. Very child friendly but any age will feel relaxed and at home. Love this place!! Well done to the young owners. They are there waiting even when needed on tables. Oh and you can also paint plates. Very relaxing activity. Great spot.

Traveling on Valentines Day and most places near us were booked The wonderful people at The Pottery welcomed us without a reservation. We had some fabulous pizza and they also included us in their Valentine specials. A wonderful dessert which was very yummy and a beautiful piece of pottery that they had for their guests that evening! Best overall customer service I have seen in a long time!

I love this place. The carrot cake is top notch and the atmosphere is great, they have lovely friendly dogs that will come and say hello. The dogs are very well behaved. The main attraction is surely the plate painting though you can sit and paint a piece of pottery at your leisure which is super soothing and then they will pop it in the oven for you to fetch in about a week or two. Wonderful place, really. Happy staff too.

Our church choir had out winter break gathering at Wonki Ware .Tables n seats were set up for 10 people .Orders for our coffees were taken fairly promptly.Most of the folk ordered from the cake selection.A pizza was ordered - this took a long time to arrive.The service was pleasant and warm.

I cant encourage you more. A unique setting, the best Pizza in George, love there health juices and smoothies. The staff are great and remember my orders when I had forgotten. A oasis of tranquillity on York street where one can easily while away the morning or afternoon drinking good coffee,nibbling on something divine and playing a game or 5 of backgammon and chillaxing. Not forgetting the retail section with Wonkiware, Three boutique and lovely homeware store.

Great to buy pottery or to create your own. Good cafe too.
