What a wonderful view and service experience! The owners go out of their way to accommodate any requests and the breakfast was fantastic.

The view is amazing. The penthouse was perfect for our family of four. The breakfast was perfect, as was the coffee. The water heater only had enough water to fill the bath to the jacuzzi jets so that we could not shower after the children bathed. We left there very happy.

We had such a nice stay - we didnt even leave to go for dinner, once we settled at table overlooking the sea, the ambiance kept us glued to our seats, room was cosy and the brekkies next morning, fresh, delish!

This was my worst experience in the Wilderness at the Whales Ways resort, the housekeeping was very bad, there was no housekeeping the 3 days we spent at the resort, we used the same towels for 3 days the toilet didnt flash I tried and fix the toilet, the penthouse suite was freezing cold airconditioner wasnt working, we couldnt sleep the noise of the rain falling roof, For R 2000.00 per night, this was day light robbery, The advertising on the internet is what i expected, but it is sad to see, the beach room photos are misleading. you cannot see the beach from the room and in fact there is no beach near the room. The house is set across the street from a cliff that looks over the ocean. very sad i think the owner looked at our colour and just disrespected us.

Well situated, ideal setting. The place to be when you want to relax. Cannot go wrong by booking in here. The host or agent is really helpful & bends over backwards to please the guest. Will defiantly call again

Great views. Hearing the ocean is tranquil. If your looking for a holiday Breakaway I would recommend it. Especially as a stop over for one night.

The place is nice and the beach views are amazing, but our room smelled very musty like the carpets have been left wet. I had to spray my perfume to make it bearable.The breakfast was pretty good though.

Best place I have ever been on holiday to. From the amazing staff to the beautiful views and amazing breakfast. Anina, Martie, Anette and Andy you guys rock and with you friendly attitude at all times, you made my 10day stay with my daughter amazing. We will be returning in May 2019. Loved the ocean suite. Very romantic. So beautiful having the ocean on the one side and mountain on the other. Staff were incredibly friendly. We’ll definitely be back soon!

A lot of potential here but sadly currently falling short of the mark.+ Benji was very friendly and you could see he was trying hard with what is a recent ownership.+ We had the penthouse which was a huge room with great sea view.+ Granola yoghurt should be a signature dish it was really tasty.- Room felt moist which is what I guess you get when you are near the sea but in other places we stayed at just as near to the water it wasn’t a problem- On both nights we had a peacock 🦚 making a lot of noise. However, it was the second night where we had less than an hours sleep all night after it perched on the roof making very loud mating call noises, scrambling around and wouldn’t move at all. We were told that if we’d called they would have come but we were not told they would be on hand 24/7 so again, an issue that we were made to feel was our fault despite us paying a lot for two nights.- No water on the evening or morning of our stay and we had to push for a resolution on this. My wife was told to check water herself (not what you expect when paying a fair amount for your stay in a hospitality environment). This was partly resolved by us using a different downstairs shower which did work (confusing why our room didn’t have water, others did vs the reason that a local pipe had stopped water to the area) but we had to push for this.- During our breakfast heard the owners arguing and ranting about us over our complaint about the peacock noise. Didn’t make it feel properly managed considering it had such a negative effect.- Buffet part of breakfast was similar to staying in a hostel.- Over priced for what it currently is. We had to really push for a resolution to the lack of water and noise.NB. Since staying we have been offered a free night on our next visit, however as this was a once in a lifetime holiday it feels a bit hollow from the owners and lacking understanding of circumstances when working in the hospitality industry.Perhaps when there has been more love spent on the place, the team is more polished and there is a less embittered attitude from one of the pair, then might be nicer for guests.

Loved this B&B location, wonderful views and sounds of the ocean. Surprised to see peacocks come up to our patio! Good breakfast served to suit our requirements by very polite staff.

Great views dont quite justify the price. We found a long black hair integrated into our scrambled eggs. The dvd player didnt work. Other than that, we had a good time here

Its always nice to see the ocean from the bed. The place could use some love, from door lock to toilet flush. Good breakfast. Owner a bit of a grumpy cat, but nice.

What a wonderful place for a getaway from the hustle and bustle. Wonderful hospitality fantastic breakfast wonderful people who do everything possible v you. Would absolutely recommend it to everyone. I shall. Definitely coming again. Clean neat and homely. A winner on my list.

Favor · Communication with the host couple is smooth and very warm. We were able to get good tips for things to do and the rooms were wonderful and appropriately furnished. There was enough space. Breakfast is freshly prepared and great. It was wonderful. We will definitely be back!Not pleased · -
