Very nice and clean place, friendly staff. And the breakfast was delicious, could be because Tamryn talks to the food while she cooks 😁.

It is a very beautiful place, the rooms and breakfast I give 10/10. You get more for your money, I do not know what to call this place a b&b or guest house if there is a difference, but it is the best of the both. I have been in 3 of the B&Bs in George but this one is number one and I am not going to look further.

I was very impressed with the place. Very neat and clean. DSTV hotel package, enough plugs for our cellphones, enough towels. Bar fridge and that the Wi-Fi. I truly have nothing negative to say about this place. The breakfast menu needs to be relooked a bit though . The garden , whoever is maintaining the garden, I applaud him.

SUPER clean guesthouse and very cosy and nice. A big room, nice shower, lots of international TV channels, comfortable bed, very reasonable rates, quiet at night, nice decor, great location right on a main road. Lovely cleaning ladies and beautiful gardens.It is my understanding that this place was recently sold so most of the reviews belong to the previous owner. The woman in charge is totally spaced out and very weird. Emails prior to my arrival were not replied to in a timely manner and very little info was then given when I called her prior to my arrival for directions. I can see how this person can real quick run down this place and put it out of business. When I arrived I rang the bell a number of times (so did other guests) and waited outside after a long bus ride with all my bags, until the woman let me in. Then I had to wait in the parking lot for her. I was told breakfast was served between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM. However, when I on the day of departure went to the breakfast room at 9:30 AM there was no breakfast and no sign of the woman. I needed a taxi to get to the bus station but the woman was nowhere to be seen. Apparently she had just left really early and told the cleaning ladies she would be back before they left at 4:00 PM! The place was left abandoned and the cleaning ladies had to call the owner Lee who seemed like a very nice guy, to arrange a taxi for me. This I had to deal with all morning because the woman at the front desk had just left. Knowing I was checking out that morning. The owner arranged a taxi for me to the bus station and also paid for it which was really nice. No fan or a/c in the room, a very noisy fridge in the room which I had to turn off at night. No safebox in the room, the breakafst was very limited. I was charged 50% (should only be 10% by law) prior to my arrival. Upon my arrival I was presented with a bill not deducting the 50% I had already paid. When I brought it to the woman’s attention she all of a sudden had the rigth bil therel for me. This woman is totally spaced out and very odd. There is nobody at the front desk and when ringing the bell the woman does not come out right away. I had in advance requested a quiet room which I was told was not a problem problem.

We showed up on bicycles in the rain, covered in mud and the lady on site, Tamryn, was happy to come out in the rain too to help us store our bikes and find our room. Rooms and breakfast were fantastic, incredible value for money!Thanks!
