The airport has enough parking most of the time, sign boards are clear, and the systems work! The restaurant food is good, service is good even at busy times. Thank goodness for kids play area. Personnel are efficient and courteous.

Its a nice small airport. I like sitting at Wimpy next to the window watching flights take off and landing.

This is a small airport with great service. I have never had any issues flying through here. There is a very small coffee shop and pharmacy shop inside. There are several car rental companies just outside the airport.

Flew Safair down from OR Tambo, and landed here.All crew and ground staff very friendly and helpful.Had to use the restroom first, found this to be very clean and sanitary procedures was in place.Lots of parking and easy pick up and go area, along with rental car options in walking distance from arrivals.All and all a good experience.

What a nice friendly and clean place.

It was EXCELLENT!! When we turned in to the airport my hubby realised he did not have his cell. I had to drive all the way back to Sedgefield and back in 1 hour to get it to him in time before he flies out to JHB. The last boarding call was already sounding when I entered to give it to him (140+ km/h to and back) but he had already silenced mine which he was planning to use. A very friendly gentleman at the door offered to take his cell to him and bring mine back as I was obviously not allowed into the airport and boarding area. Thanks a million for the EXCELLENT service we really appreciate iit, all is well and he landed safely in JHB 🙏

Highly efficient drop-off zone. Nice fluent traffic. Dont know why, but whenever you arrive, you feel very welcome.

Screening of people at entrance to airport not very professional, but at least they cared. Airport clean, bright and a pleasure. Could do with a Slow Lounge 😊

What a pathetic airport. First a queue of over 100m builds up outside because of the personnel. Then we queue unnecessarily at the security checkpoint once again, for no apparent reason, while the security personnel just sit there and do nothing.

Decent Airport Regarding the size of it. But the people who scan your tickets before you enter the plane are racist. The lady was greeting each and every passenger as she was scanning the tickets and was all happy until i arrived there. Didnt greet me and didnt even bother to acknowledge me when i was there and when she did she told the security to do a random search on me for no reason. It was a first for me experiencing such a thing but 2021 and there is still racism. Unbelievable.

George airport is a small regional airport giving one access to the garden route . In terms of facilities there are a few ATM s and a number of shops including a place to have coffee . There is limited public seating if you are waiting for arrivals or departures . Over all it is a very average airport that you would not want to spend to much time at but does give you convenient access to the garden route .

We normally fly to Johannesburg once a month. Even in these difficult times they are doing a great job: flights are on time, flights are also scheduled in such a manner that there is no crowding, thus we feel as safe as can be. Thank you also for very helpful and friendly staff.

Fast and easy boarding

Every now and then I drop and fetch friends at and from the airport. For this I normally use the Drop and Go allocated area and not once had any issues with held ups. The outside terrain is always clean, neat and very well maintained. Well done to the staff showing pride in what they are doing.

Nice little airport. Friendly staff. Parking can be a problem, but not so since Covid happened. If you are collecting passengers from the airport consider stopping at Elvis Brew opposite the airport. Have a coffee while you wait for their flight to land. You can see the planes land from there. Once they have their luggage you just drive through the drop and go to pick them up. No need to pay parking.

Seeing the mostly positive reviews, they must have had a bad hair day today. Outside ACSA access check point already very unpleasant and unable deal with electronic ticket holders.Check in and security check no issues however. Fast, friendly and efficient. But waiting area at the gate completely overcrowded and noisy.Adding to this the ubiquitous Huxley style as announcements via the PA system…. Not a good start into the weekend.

Things had changed overnight with the family meeting on Sunday. But amenities ok and COVID protocols very much in evidence.

Helpfull no problem

In departure hall the crickets were making a huge racket, central aircon was not working and the coffee shop was ridiculously overpriced. It has definitely gone backward at a rapid rate since my last visit. Still a great little airport, but service needs a serious jack-up.

Nice clean and hygienic airport, ample parking, shaded or open parking and easily accessible. Well managed under covid regulations.

Not being allowed in to greet loved ones is pathetic.. Everyone congregates outside the doors.. The brochure stand is inside the door.. So basically youre affecting tourism by people unable to get brochures.. Surely you should put it outside.. Logic dictates that.. Apart from that, security very curtious and friendly..

George airport is absolutely amazing, considering the turmoil the country is in at the moment. Very spontaneous and helpful, also not crowded. I flew with Global, and would recommend this airline, free drinks and snacks, with amazing staff. To top it all the flight rates beat them all.....

Too little seating in covid befire flught, I stoid an hour on my feet, before my flught, cery dissapointed.

Perfectly good bt l was only disappointed by Mango air flight when l booked its supposed to at 10:40 departure time boom it was at 1:00 all of a sudden boom we are now using FlySAair at 16:00 departure time

This is a tiny #airport but highly efficient and easy to navigate. Not many retail or food options so you may be better served by stopping on your way here if youre not time poor.

I stopped to pick someone up today and was out within 20 min but still had to pay R20 for parking i did not even use. At most parking areas at airports you would normally get the 1st half hour free parking.
