Absolutely beautiful guest house. We loved our stay at this picturesque location. Roooms are spacious, welcoming and beautifully designed.Well located in Franschhoek. 2 minutes from the main town road. Close to some of the best wine vineyards in the world as well as the wine tram activities.

This place is more amazing than the photos. Picturesque view, stylish facility and good service. Strongly recommended.

Ive always wanted to come here and got surprised with a booking by hubby. We loved it here! Was comfortable, stylish, had good breakfast and breathtaking sunsets. The staff are lovely and the guest house is not that far from town at all (one would need a vehicle though). Definitely worth a stay

A luxurious “French Countryside” experience.I was fortunate to stay at Lavender Farm for the second time in November 2020. As always, it was an unforgettable experience. The staff were so professional and friendly, the rooms were immaculate and the patio views were to die for! We stayed in one of the suites overlooking the lavender field to the far left. The best room in my opinion.I would highly recommend a stay at Lavender for a truly relaxing and luxury escape.

Didnt charge for a broken glass. Secure parking. Good security. Felt safe. Spacious room. Comfortable bed. Nice shower and bath. Cons. Lady needs to attend hospitality school. Not friendly. Asked us to withdraw cash to pay for the laundry, instead of accepting card payment and facilitating payment to laundry company. Then when we did withdraw the cash, she asked us to get exact change. In the end, she kept our change. On holiday, the point of hospitality is to save time for this kind of admin. There is no breakfast. We were not told of this before on advert or after booking, hence false advertising? Instead a R150 voucher was given to us. 150 for 2 people. 150 rand at the designated shop barely feeds 1 person. Wifi is terrible cannot even stream a normal poor quality video. Only 1 plug working next to bed so can only charge 1 device overnight. So for a couple, someones phone is flat the next day. Showered with cold water 1 night, during peak winter. Definitely not worth what we paid, almost R3000 per night for all these cons. Probably worth around R1500 per night for the good room, good view, fireplace, safety and gentleman host.

This place was beautiful and on the whole would be a great place to stay. Breakfast best Ive had in SA, however at present theyre replanting the lavender so wouldnt recommend spending more on the rooms wih a view as the view isnt as it would normally be.

What a lovely surprise! Perfect place to get rest and enjoy Franschhoek. Close to main road. Large room, clean and comfortable bed. Stunning views from room of a lavender field. Delightful. Staff were helpful and a good brekkie.Will be back to make use of the pool in summer!

We checked into our Luxury Suite which has its outdoor pergola-styled verandah of grapevines and wisteria overlooking the farms manicured green lawn area and beautiful lavender field.The Luxury Suites The Lavender Guest House are spacious and elegant and tastefully decorated. It has a stunning en-suite bathroom with a large walk-in shower.After a day of sightseeing and wine tasting, it is the perfect venue to relax at their beautiful pool area with views to die for or have a sunset picnic with a backdrop of lavender and the majestic views of the Franschhoek mountains.I highly recommend this property if you are looking for a touch of Provence and romance in the heart of Franschhoek.Frauke is an absolutely angel and it so delightful meeting someone so friendly and accommodating when you travel!

Fantasic location but, unfortunately they are let down by the poor communication of their staff and layout of their rooms (TVs are too small and too far away from the bed).

Amazing! Food was delicious and they upgraded us to a beautiful room because they were not in use. Staff was wonderful! Fireplace in the room made the stay extra special. Walking out to the lavender and walking the grounds puts you at ease immediately.

Amazing chalets which I cannot recommend more! The hourlong drive from Cape Town is absolutely worth it. Everything here is lavender themed.Breakfast at first seemed unappetising, just a simple continental, but then we were given a menu for items including Eggs benedict, among others! The service has been absolutely immaculate and and I cannot wait to return.Franschhoek itself is such a lovely little town which is so nice to walk around and enjoy.Many wine tastings and activities to do around the area,The rooms are excellent. Classy yet subdued, and the lavender fields are just wonderful to walk through/around.A wonderful escape from the hustle and bustle of civilisation and great value for money!!

Lavender Farm is a beautiful B&B close to the centre of Franschoek and the wine farms. The room was well presented, the staff very helpful and a very tasty breakfast. I wish we had stayed longer and will come back again when were next in town.

This was a lovely stay. Just 1 km out of town and so it was very quiet. We had room 4 which overlooked the lavender field and gave us a great view of the mountains. A beautiful breakfast is served in the main building and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Schalke the GM gave us some great info on which vineyards to visit for wine tastings.The chalet was very roomy and had everything we needed for our stay. I could not recommend this place more highly.

Stayed at this beautiful Guest house while attending the Franschhoek literary festival. Staff and management were very friendly and made me feel very welcome. The accommodation itself was great. Room was both clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were perfectly prepared and delicious. I will definitely be going back and recommend this guesthouse to anyone interested in visiting the area.

The farms are the main attraction. the entire guest house has fragrant lavender aroma to entice you. its a beautiful scenic place to be in

Amazing setting and great location for access to all the wine tasting properties. Quirky generously sized rooms with sweet lavender all around. The restaurant is great and the staff are very friendly. Definitely recommended.

We liked it here.But we were only there for one night, so Ill keep it short:The breakfast was very good. The rooms were very big (we had a room overlooking the lavender field).The bathroom was good too. Air conditioning was available and modern. The bed was good.There was nothing to complain about.

Chic driveway with large white stone gate. Lavender plants on both sides of the road. Kindly welcomed, guided tour. Reserved a taxi for us, very nice service.Room fully equipped and the shower was very nice.Breakfast was quite awkward, everyone is looking at you. Super many staff. Is waiting with hands behind his back to serve you, feeling rushed. Delicious full breakfast again.2nd morning we were almost looked away, also the new guests in our room were already there, so they couldnt wait until we were gone ..

The hotel at prices claims to be above average quality. But get ready for surprises: a power outage. The hotels were lower level generators, at the worst, lanterns and candles. Here they found a small flashlight, on my phone 10 times brighter .. the breakfasts of the norms, like everywhere else, are continental .. they did not have time to use the pool.
