Now, if you your health matters, this is a place you wanna be. Say good bye to all cholesterol induced oil and take a beautiful drive to La Bourgogne Farm for your best extra Virgin Olive oil.I have been buying my Extra Virgin Olive Oil from them for sometime already, and I cannot just stop because their Olive Oil is indeed Extra Virgin❤. I mean, who wouldnt go for something really really virgin? The staff at Bourgogne is very enthusiastic, friendly and professional. Their service is one of a kind. The farm is scenic - breathtaking indeed. I recommend Bourgogne Farm to all.
Lovely relaxed atmosphere. Its enjoyable to sit outside in the garden and taste wine. The dogs are such great company. The wine is excellent. I had the wine and infused caramel tasting and my husband had the flagship tasting. Love the unique concept - I havent seen wine infused caramel toffees before. We last visited 2 years ago and since then, the owners have had a beautiful tasting area built on. The owners and staff can be congratulated on creating a homely, cosy, welcoming experience.
Its easy to see why one might miss this farm since most of its beauty is hidden inside. We enjoyed a 40th lunch at the venue and returned the following morning for breakfast, the food was exquisite as was the setting, wine and service, this is a wine farm not to be missed. The food was incredible, presentation and taste was everything we wanted. The most impressive part is the price, they are extremely well priced considering the location where so many have become tourist traps, this farm retains everything the locals would expect!
Bourgogne is the cutest vineyard, don’t be subjected to just the large estates. This place is intimate with lovely grounds with stunning labradors running around. The wine is nice too, I would go for the premium tastings to have the buttery Chardonnay and the richer reds. I would say these wines are more your everyday wines with a premium. The olive oils are worth a taste too. Thanks guys!
Wine tasting was OK, our waitress refused to engage in English. Even though both my wife and I spoke English to her.But of an odd vibe from her as well.Just weird if they have foreign guests and they only speak Afrikaans
Delicious wines and tastings done here! Dog friendly and always a perfect vibe!
Lovely atmosphere. Friendly Service. Good wines(a bit pricey for Locals in our opinion), delicious food. We would definitely go back again
You can only buy wine at the estate, not anywhere else, so being there for a tasting is quite lovely and unique. They have dogs there that are very friendly and sweet. They have a malbec wine which is quite delicious- I wish I could have stayed there for lunch the estate itself seems quite boutique small and delightful.
Brilliant place for a get away. Home away from home. Food wine and fun.
Small farm where you can taste wine and eat as well. With three adorable dogs. Tasting room and restaurant are simple with nothing really impressive.
This was our final stop on the Wine Tram route, and we had great expectations (wine, olive oil, food). If youre not familiar with Wine Tram, its a (paid) tour service, where you have approx 1 hour to visit a given winery, and then you move to another one (time is a factor). On arrival we were greeted and told to pick a table in the garden. So we did. And we waited. And waited. Then we petted a small cute dog. And waited. Then we waited even more. All the waitresses were serving other people. Cute dog came back, so we petted it again. And waited. After 25 minutes we gave up -- even if wed be served at this time, itd be way too late to enjoy the experience (last tram is coming in 30 minutes thing). I even tried to talk to the manager, but she was pretty disinterested (oh, sorry about that). And since itd be pretty silly to wait for 30 minutes in the parking lot, we decided to walk back to town (around 35-40 minute walk, thankfully the weather was good). Will definitely not return. Avoid this place if youre on the Wine Tram (if youre driving yourself you can tolerate the long waits and being ignored - or can you?)
Wow!! Outstanding serve in all categories. Thank you for being so concerned about my daughter. My your business be blessed. Amazing staff.
Small but very beautiful wine farm. Peaceful surrounding band very caring staff! We did the tram tour, they welcomed us with 2 free glasses of wine. Olives tasted great as well! We enjoyed it a lot!
Beautiful place in Franschhoek... stunning cottages, wine, food and setting. Highly recommend La Bourgogne
Great meal lovely selection of snacks and cheeses. Good wine
Great service, food and wine, and a view to die for - what more can you ask for?
We loved our stay at the farm. The cottages were as warm and welcoming as Lauren herself.Be also aware of the dogs - you will fall in love.
The cheese platter that is served here is incredibly good, probably one of the best I have had. Their Olive oil is also very good and you can buy up to 3 litres at prices that are extremely competitive with that of larger retailers. This is a very nice farm.
Nice farm well run and catering for the up market. Cheese and fruit trays are really nice. Gòod selection of winesIf you find this helpful please like
Amazing setting, wine and cheese board! Trees and river make for a very relaxed and peaceful atmosphere. An absolute gem and I will be back soon!
One of my favorite wine farms to visit in franschhoek because it has a lovely outdoor seating area, friendly staff and a laid back atmosphere. Generious wine tasting and cheese boards too.
Great cozy relexing place. Staff are friendly and helpful. Accommodation is quaint and affordable. Fell inlove with the farm dogs who were also so friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be back. Good wines, olives and food.

Beautiful with a view of the mountains. Wine was apparently good (I dont drink) and a lovely stream nearby. Were greeted by the staff very happily and the place had a...good vibe.

This was a nice place to sit in the garden sun. There were several dogs that were fun to interact with and watch. The wine was not amazing, but still delectable.
Great wine and food. Sitting under the oak trees was relaxing while the kids were busy in the playground.

Wine was like tepid tap water definitely worth missing unpleasant staff
Loved the experience!
Great wine farm with boule pitch
Rude staff, terrible wine. Wow, shocked by the watered down excuse for a welcome drink! First impression put me off completely. Will never come back!
Great food, and wine
Excellent environment and relaxing
Great experience
Same as most other wine farms, enjoyable.
Lovely wine
Its more of a restaurant than a wine farm
I go here to buy the olive oil
Fantastic place
Beautiful.
Awesome food
Beautiful
Very nice experience. Is it possible to order wine remotely?
Tasting of wines from this vineyard. The quality of these very young wines is passable compared to that of other vineyards in Franshoek. On the other hand, quality lunch and pleasant service.
Great placeGoogle where are my pictures
The girl who works there was a little flying, charged us with a different wine route than we chose. Forgetting that we ordered a cake and after we mentioned it, brought another cake. The service was on the face as well as her knowledge of the environment. The place itself is very beautiful.
A fantastic experience lying on the lawn drinking wine and eating
