My car was starting to make squicky noises and shaking when l brake, l took it to Safety Brakes and Clutch for brake replacement and disc skimming. After they did that it started to sound louder. I took it back there, they checked and told me that its the back wheels, they skimmed the back discs and did it for free this time. Now its all smooth. Ill definitely go back there any for mechanical issues on my car.

During a routine service I was told by my car dealership that my brakes needed changing. I got in touch with Safety Brake and Clutch for a quote and they were substantially cheaper. I booked my car in and instead of changing the brakes, they informed me that the current brakes were in good condition and changing them was not necessary. Honest and ethical company to deal with unlike the dealership! Will be back.

Very happy with the service that I received when repairing my rear drum brakes here. Very friendly and car was repaired fairly quickly even though they were very busy.

I took a company vehicle to them for a clutch change. The service received was super. the vehicles clutch was done and I was able to pick it up a day sooner.I took a second company vehicle to have the clutch replaced. What a surprise was it when we received a call stating that they had a look at the clutch and it was found to be in good shape. They changed the clutch fluid and bled the system.Safety brake and clutch did not even charge us for the fluid or the time spent on the vehicle.These days it is so difficult finding this type of service and honesty.We will definitely take all our vehicles there and refer anyone..THANKS FOR YOUR SUPER SERVICE

Excellent service

I am very angry at how I was treated. My car was in for two days. During the course of these two days no one phoned me,to update me, on when my car would be ready. As I explained I really needed my car back asap.I had to phone more than once and came to the garage personally the next morning to find out what was happening with my car. I was told by the mechanic that the car would be ready at 12h00. Guess what at 12h00 it was not. They were testing it. When I went to collect my car at 16h30 the mechanic very rudely told me that I was not the only customer and he was busy with other clients. So clearly in his mind, I was not a client. All the staff need to be trained on customer service as there is none at the garage. The result of the work remains to be seen. I will never recommend this place to anyone I know.

Wow! Agency advised that my clutch had to be replaced when I took my baby for her last service, but I was quoted an exorbitant amount of money and was advised that they would need the car for 2 days.Happened to be on the Primrose Community FB page and saw a recommendation for Safety Brake & Clutch Edenvale.Contacted them and was quoted R3000.00 less than the agency and not only were they more reasonably priced, the service I received was top-notch and I received my car back same day! Asked for brake pads for Ford Figo. Very affordable. I asked if the brake pads squeek as Ive had issues before when purchasing affordable brake pads (not from this company). No they will not squeek. Happily had them fitted and they squeek everytime. :-(
