We were happy with our stay. The Loerie room has clearly has a slight revamp, loved it. The location of the lodge is quiet easy to find and accessible to restaurants and easy to travel back from sight seeing and I er prices arent ridiculous. Slight glitches here and there but definitely planning on coming back. The breakfast was delicious and that view of the river is just beautiful.

A cozy little room with everything you might need. Beautiful area on the riverside, with easy access the main roads. Also within walking distance of a Pizza rian, Bar and Spar (shop).

Spent one night - the breakfast in the morning was delicious, and served on a lovely sunny enclosed veranda overlooking the river. Parking was a little tricky, but we managed.

Our stay at Forwords was interesting.The room was small however offered all we required.The caretaker was a lovely personable lady however feels a little lonely.Our breakfast was very nice looking out over the pool.We chose the accommodation purely due to location to the main road for easy access in and out on our road trip south.It was nothing to write home about however was pleasant just the same and served our purpose.

Love this place its Clean and comfortable with friendly service. The lodge is on a river and this can be seen from the garden. Quick access from and to the N2 highway here in East London.

We stayed in the Blue Crane room. It was great. Perfect for an overnight rest and perfect breakfast. It was so welcoming and the view from the breakfast area is awesome.

Just had a wonderful nights stay at Forwords River Lodge. Valencia is a friendly and welcoming host and cooked an amazing, hearty breakfast - which we enjoyed with a stunning view of the river. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed - including microwave, small bar fridge, TV with DStv, good WiFi, a fan to keep cool and extra towels for the pool. Will recommend this B&B to everyone - great quality for a great price!

Its peaceful and surrounded with nature❤️ Mam Vee (Valencia) is an organised, Loving and friendly person. Everytime we go there we have the best stay, Mama Vee certainly knows how to make you feel at home❤️❤️❤️

A great B&B. The hostess, Valencia, was very friendly and helpful. Very comfortable lodging for the night. The breakfast is also substantial.

It was quite refreshing environment, the staff member was friendly she made us feel welcome. Their breakfast was very delicious.

Overall a good stay.Pros: Good service and everything works including wifi.Great breakfast with a view of the river.Cons: Gardener talking and working outside while were trying to sleep.No DSTV but was able to watch in wifi anyway.Not really a con as we thought the place was R600 a person and it was R600 in total butit is a single room that was converted from a servants room at the opposite end of the river. But for R600 total is in line with price.

Valencia is an excellent housekeeper.The rooms though are very bland en definately not excecutive as per the advertisement.Rooms were clean and the breakfast was really good.

Perfect place to be at, very affordable and the staff is very friendly.I promise to come back
