We booked a private room for a small function, the room was stunning and the Manager Jason went beyond to accommodate us regarding the chairs for this room. The service was excellent, and the food was amazing, which attributed to a successful evening. Would definitely recommend them for any private functions.

I recently took my immediate family to Havana, it was my birthday, i hav been taking my family for many years..I love it , i just take a cake , we order from.tje light lunch menu its so reasonably priced. Theres so many varieties to choose from.this fabulous 3 course, for just R180 which includes a beer , wine, gin or juice. The staff are amazing, so friendly, the atmosphere is cheerful.. apart from the 3 course, the boys ordered more Heineken and the girls needed more Gin..it was just too gorgeous 😍

The menu is diverse and the waiters very well informed and polite. Ambience is excellent. There is a parking flat rate of R10 regardless of how long you stay which is very good. You can also book it for a private function like a birthday or office year end party.

They seem to allow any type of person in even though there is a sign that clearly states the dress code. Our experience was brought down by a loud group of people that were there just to get drunk. They were drinking wine right out of the bottle and dressed like they had just been out at the shabeen. This could have been avoided by simply having some access control which they usually have.

The service at Havana grill has really dropped. It used to be a wonderful experience however sadly we visited and the service was terrible. The waiters seemed to be more concerned with attending to the empty tables than the customers that were actually seated in the restaurant. Drinks were served in dirty glasses that had not been washed properly. The food was fatty and mot very appetizing. The entire experience was disappointing.

Having chosen Havana for a company celebration, we rented our their Blue Room and settled in for a night of relaxation and great food.With a variety of starters on offer suitable for a wide array of tastes and preferences, I shared the mussels and calamari with two colleagues. The calamari was tender, flavorful and delicately spiced while the mussels were enrobed in silky and creamy sauce that we fought over!With the main course, we went in three separate directions. The seafood platter for 1 was enormous and could easily feed a family of 4. All its components were cooked well; my colleague used the word scrumptious at one stage. Another went with the deboned ribs, basted in a deep and warming sauce. The meat was succulent and seasoned perfectly.I saw the pork belly and immediately jumped on it! It was an enormous offering, with melt in your mouth tenders with creamy mash, a bacon and cider sauce and huge pieces of fresh crackling. Definitely one to remember, and my new favourite dish there.For dessert, we stuck to an elegant chocolate lava cake oozing with dark chocolate at the center. A great spectacle and amazing taste to end off an evening.The Blue Room does have a minimum spend for the night, so you need a big group to make it worthwhile. There were a variety of dishes order, from ostrich to nachos to steak too, but the overall consensus was that Havana Grill had given us a memorable food experience that we are eager to go back to.Definitely pricey, Havana is worth it for special occasions more than most other places Ive been to in the similar price bracket. Charming waiters and fast service ensure a great evening will be had no matter your reason for visiting.

Havana Grill in SunCoast Casino is for you want a chilled gathering with an intimate group or just yourself.The light background music was layered with mature patrons celebrating, socialising, romancing, and enjoying the evening with jokes and laughter.The service and hospitality was top class from the time we entered until we left three hours later.The food was divine. The last time we ate there was about 6 years ago and they have maintained their high quality standard in taste.Will definitely go back.

Had a great experience once again. Welcomed at the door showed to our table. Drinks order did not even take 5min and it was on the table. Ordered jalapeno poppers for starter to die for that is how good it is. Had prawn and chicken curry was simply amazing. Service and atmosphere lovely and fine dining to its best

Had a bad experience the waitress was too slow, we booked a function the 4th of September 2021 and I think the lady who was serving us they said shes Nothile. If we complain about her being slow she told us we are wrong to tell her she was too slow, but other than that it was fine I suggest a customer service training for her.

Waited forever to be seated. Had a waitress who was busy with a large table. We ended up not ordering mains, we just had drinks and a salad. The salad was absolutely delish 5/5, when I finally got it.

Elite restaurant ranging from starters to maim meals with good grills. Good views of the sea as well are an add-on. Staff is well trained , very professional and they suit the look of the place. If you love ALL WHITE this place will be for you!

Visited here this past weekend for anniversary lunch with my gf. Made reservations a day before but when we got there our place was already taken as it was very full and had to wait more than 20 minutes for a table which I already made reservations for. Also on that particular day it was quite busy and the groups of people having functions were extremely noisy with township like behavior unacceptable for a classy restaurant like this. The food however was the only thing good other than that was not impressed with the vibes and atmosphere so only 3 star from me and only giving it a 3 star cos food was good other than that I would rate a 1 and half star.

Food amazing 👏 service slightly slow 🐌 but worth the wait...horribly loud birthday celebration...... had to move tables!!! Venue has private rooms....these must be allocated to large parties 🤔 so the couples can enjoy a good meal and quiet time

Definitely a place to go if you wanting to impress your guests where a private dining area will be allocated, or for a special meeting or date. Food is beautifully prepared with much attention to colour, taste and presentation. Staff are very friendly and professional. They are fimilar with the menu and the manner in which dishes are prepared. If you have dietary limitations, the chef eager comes through to specially prepare your meal. There are a wide selection of wines and cocktails as well.

Absolutely excellent. Really delicious food: the meat is prepared to perfection and the menu has a good variety. The staff are extremely courteous and know their menu well. The manager makes a great effort to check on the diners and the restaurant itself is very upmarket and well kept - despite the considerable traffic.

Service was lacking, and the wait for drinks a bit long.Steaks were under seasoned but meal was acceptable overall.

The waiter George remembered everyones order which i was surprisingly pleased about, as we came with 4 tables of 10.Service was good and the table dressed well. The food tasted great however my pictures of the meals lacked my visual standard due to the lighting in the room. Overall will be back again, probably with the wife for a romantic dinner. Very good experience for a buffet. We went to Havana for Christmas lunch 2019. It was a buffet that I dont usually like but this was very good. The service was slightly lacking due to delays in our drink orders and the waiter got the order wrong aswell but he was very friendly and the food was was above average with a good selection. I was disappointed with one or two dishes and that together with the drinks issue cost them a star but I would still recommend them for a good all round time.

Quality and tasty meat. Actual 100% juice thats not full of chemicals and sugar.The restaurant has a more mature vibe as compared to the other restaurants at Suncoast. The place was quite busy but it still was not rowdy and the waitrons and manager had enough time to check up on the tables often. Rate it 4.5 out of 5.

I came with my wife and we were pleasantly surprised. I got rib eye 300g steak, medium rare. It was amazing! Wife got Asian and prawn salad and liked it although it was missing pineapple. No big deal. The mocktail mojito was an excellent drink as well. I do recommend this place and it’s easy to find. Just go to the casino.

The lady didnt great us , she came back sat us down and she was gone for almost 10 minutes we waiting come back and with little knowledge of her menu Terrible attitude lord actually the whole experience was terrible

Possibly the best Chicken Liver starter served in Durban, a wide selection of excellent steaks served in a upmarket setting with smart furnishings. Great location with tables looking over the sea. Well worth a visit

Food was excellent! The green beans where not done correctly, it seemed like they just put it under the fish then drizzled some source over it. That was the only thing on my plate with no flavour. The menu itself was disappointing. Just a plain page laminated.....come on. Step it up! I spent R535 (exc. tip) for 2 people. 1 glass wine, Bottled water, Line fish and chicken dish, dessert choc fondant. Id go back for the fish and chicken!

Havana grill is an excellent choice for anybody that wants a good meal. I took my vrou there for her birthday and the service we received from Sandile our waiter was friendly and good. We will recommend this place definitely to all our friends and family.
