Just had such a lovely time sitting under the umbrella on the pavement. My Rooibos cappuccino was so good and presented on a custom made wooden platter with an iced cold water and a little biscuit. Really looked so good. service was great. Durban at is Finest

The food was delicious and atmosphere relaxed. Our Waitress was Sam. She was kind, polite and very attentive. Covid 19 protocols were followed.

Disinterested waiting staff..Ordered butter chicken curry, got chicken in an onion and tomato sauce.. They assured me that it was butter curry.. Tasted okay but not the point..Had to go looking for the waiter again to pay.. He was chatting as usual to his buddy..Pathetic..

Covered and open air restaurant with a comprehensive breakfast menu in the suburbs.

Had breakfast there and was a bit disappointed with our food. Not much taste in any of the dishes. Orders also took way too long to come out.

It was good but my cappuccino was bit cold rest was good.

Caffé Java always has a good vibe and is centrally situated in the busy little area of Durban North. Great birthday breakfast with our daughter - lovely food, great service and a very pleasant waitress.

This is one of those places Durban locals frequent, the owners are hands on and always there to have a chat and recommend something tasty. Always filled with familiar faces there is a reason they keep going back.Durban Omelette and the Java Stack are a breakfast favourite of mine.

Consistent with freshness, taste and plating. The chefs on duty take a lot of pride in the preparation of the food as well as plating. I have eaten here so much and will continue to do so as they are consistent in getting everything right. The beverages are outstanding from cappuccinos, cafe latte, Chai tea, americano, etc. The excess availability of the daily news paper is a great touch. Staff are dressed well and knowledgeable about the menu. I will keep going here and recommend that you do too.

Service could be improved on. Need to mention on your menu that the chicken livers and egg option is chilli hot.

Stopped here for lunch today had chorizo pasta however the chorizo was tough to chew we put the pieces onto out side plate the waiter noticed and asked what was wrong to our complete delight the manager came apologised and took the costs off out bill without any fuss at all the pasta itself was superb Java Caffe is a must to visit we are definitely coming back to enjoy such professional service well done JAVA !
