This star is for the unprofessional manner in which their telegram administrator communicates. Has no clue what POPIA regulations are and how to enforce it. Very poor english and overal communication. Someone given such a responsiblity should at least have some level of marketing and business qualification and training. He has no concept of customer service. Rude and abrupt in his response and he is apparently a senior manager.

After experiencing difficulties with my previous internet service provider on speed / support, I had reached out to 123Net to understand the offering and research the services provided.I had submitted a request on Saturday and was fortunate enough to have been directed to Rehana Syed at 123Net. Being an extremely tech savvy individual, I had asked questions that should be beyond the knowledge of Sales and/or Account Management, however Rehana was able to confidently assist me with my queries.After completing the paperwork to move to 123Net, Rehana had been in constant communication with me and I was extremely delighted that she was able to arrange for installation and activation on the first Monday, thereafter. I have since had absolutely no issues with my internet line and I receive welcomed follow ups from Rehana, to ensure that I am satisfied. I definitely and confidently recommend 123Net as a reliable ISP.The service levels by Rehana and the support and technical teams surpassed my expectations tenfold. Thank you to the 123Net team, keep up the solid work ethic and continue to thrive at being the best fiber supplier available. Great work and the kind of support that should become a norm. 10 out of 5 stars for this awesome experience.

I signed up with 123Net on the 12th of February 2021. They installed their necessary cabling from just outside my boundary wall to the router point within the house on the 20 of February 2021. I was then informed it takes between 10 and 15 workings days to complete the installation. 18 working days later i havent received any definitive answer on when the balance of the installation will be completed. Emails and calls dont receive responses. I am now doubting my decision on cancelling my existing internet subscription, purchasing a new router and signing up with 123Net.

Looks like their teams are not communicating, I have been on cabling installation since Monday and still nothing (4 days of seating and waiting, how much a business can loose...because of all the delays?). Poor communication skill, let see the connection, now I am doubting if this will work out. If I dont get connected today I would rather look for another service provider. #frustating to deal with 123NET

Not happy about the fact that none of the numbers listed on your website work.Our internet is down and theres absolutely no way to find out whats going on.You should have a webpage where you can type in your area and leave or view comments about issues in your area.Its Friday at 16:55.

I have only had trouble since using this WIFI service for our holiday home here in Umhlanga. It cuts out regularly. It is very rare that a day goes by without it cutting it out. Customer service is poor. When there is a problem it takes ages to fix it. It is by far the worst service Ive ever used. I dont recommend it.

They look 3 days to install the internet 2 weeks from when they said they would. The installation also looks ugly. But the worst part is customer service is just awful. They disconnected our wifi and when we called to see the problem. They just kept saying will get it back up shortly. Its a 3 day weekend and doubt they will reconnect it anytime soon. Worst internet provider I have ever dealt with and also the most expensive.

I have had 100mbps Fibre with Telkom and then with Vox and cancelled them both because of slow speeds during the afternoon. I moved over to 123net and I could NOT be happier, speeds are constant and I have never had any issues. Thanks to 123net !!!

Very unhappy, we took out a package from 123net for our residential home in Umhlanga it’s fibre and is unlimited, yet we have endless problems with it, firstly the speed is terrible, we use to have Telekom LTE and that was faster. Customer Service is disappointing and the router is very unresponsive and this has made our family very agitated and annoyed. I do not recommend 123NeT

Had a bit of a hiuccup signing up.1. Technicians were 2 hours late.2. They didnt have my chosen router in stock and only let me know on the day forcing me to choose a lesser or more expensive model.But when they arrived I felt proud to have them here.1. 123net van is nicely branded.2. A new cable had to be installed from the street so its quite a process.3. Staff were a bit blasé about Corona and took their masks off 5 minutes into the process which had me on edge - buy your staff proper masks please.4. Staff were wearing civilian clothing so it was imposisble to tell who was who or who was in charge.5. No one really approached and said Hi I am so n so, I will be leading the installation today, any issues come to me6. There were 7 guys at my house, which was uncomfortable, especially when 3 were standing outside and I had no idea what their jobs were.So overall your internet is fast.Your staff are helpful but they need a bit more co-ordination.

I sent in a request for fibre at 4pm on a Friday afternoon, within minutes I had an email, along with a phone call (that I missed!), by 10H30 Monday monring they were installing the fibre & by 12H30 I was on like a scone!Great service delivery & really nice staff!

The service we have had over the year has improved to a exceptional level. On arrival at out flat we discovered that the Wifi was not working. Within an hour of notifying 123 Net a friendly technician arrived and diagnosed a faulty fibre converter and replaced it immediately. Thank you 123 Net

Many global and local websites stopped working such as aramex.com, ship7.com, and even 123net.co.za does not work. When we call them, their office is closed which is very poor for an internet service provider as they should be working around the clock. Now, because of them my work has stopped until they get back to work. Horrendous customer support!

This company lacks common courtesy, I have had two bad instances, the first was they do not communicate when they are unable to commit to installation times, because they expect you to know and to call them to find out whats the hold up, they then reschedule and they dont actually schedule teams for the agreed date and time, so again, youve got to call them to figure out whats going on, absolutely pathetic service, and they dont seem apologetic about their mishaps and expect you to be okay with the poor service they provide.
