Mesami Hotel, The best place to book for accommodation next time you are in Durban. Rooms are very nice, clean and the staff very nice. I would recommend this place anytime, all I can I will be back.

Nice place to try out for 1 night. Breakfast selection is not what was on the website, aircons in rooms didnt work, parking limited but overall a very friendly nice place. No coffee in rooms buy your own.

The room was a good size for my mother and me. The main room and bathroom were clean and fully functional, and the beds were very comfortable. We had a few issues connecting to the WiFi but otherwise thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights in Durban. All three breakfasts were excellent!

Mesami is a very nice place. Near to most shopping places. The staff is very nice and friendly. I rate it 5 out of 5

Will never use this place again. Room was clean. Reception was attentive. Breakfast was terrible, unprofessional cook. Coffee machine didnt work. Not good coffee. Wont use this Hotel again.

Parking is very safe. Quiet surroundings and location is just perfect. Complimentary breakfast for every room booked. Maximum of two people in a room.

The hotel is decent for a quick stay in Durban. However, there are better options in that price range. The room was small and the WiFi was useless. The breakfast was not appetizing. But otherwise it met my needs for a good bed and some Champions League football.

Awful breakfasts.No breakfast for guests at 8h30 in the morning of the 2nd Jan, ran out of breakfast.Rates increase from 1000.00 on arrival of the 27 Dec to 1500.00 a day before new years eve and 2500.00 on new years eve.Staff will not disclose owners of hotel when asked.I will not recommend this hotel and i do not rate it as a 3 star.

The worst Durban experience ever, racism is something I dont tolerate no matter how slight....! We checked in after 10pm as we drove from Joburg and requested a late check out, as we knew we would need the time to book the next accommodation. They charged R1250 including breakfast, but breakfast was only from 6-9am we had gone to an event the previous night and only made downstairs at 10am...and were told they couldnt help with breakfast... The previous night when we requested that we bring our guests upstairs for a minute before they called they Uber, we were told that they should wait downstairs and not go up with us.In the morning we called to be told to leave the establishment, we stated that we had requested a late check out, yet they still sent a lady up to tell us to leave.I wasnt about to spoil my mood due to such Ridiculousness and so we left.Ive traveled the world and this has to be the worst travel experience, made even worse by the fact its in my own country that we get treated like second rate citizens by Indian people in Durban.Dont bother visiting this waste of space, youll have more peace sleeping in your car. Ive worked I travel for 9yrs and this is the worst.

We had an awesome weekend away when we were there earlier this year, stayed for 3 days and the breakfast dishes were different all 3 days, I would definitely stay there again the service was pretty good.

I agree with what Wendy Ramsamy said. Rooms look good but toilet paper low quality. Breakfast unprofessional. Tell us they out of stock on eggs, if you want fried eggs you need to let them know in advance. Toaster broken. Cuppachino not good. You need instructions to use the coffee machine. Salt doesnt come out of the dispensers. Owner. I was in 205 on the 2nd. My name is Jacques. Call me if you want me to change my review. For now I cant recommend this establishment.

I travel alot within the country and abroad and never i have seen or stayed in a hotel with such restrictions so unfortunately i will not be staying in it ever.1. It said no guests allowed but by default you are allowed to have 2 people in one room having a double bed.2. breakfast quality is not good at all. It said complimentary breakfast so that means you have to eat what is there otherwise leave it.3. No snacks found in the fridge4. No extra toilet rolls in the room, and the toilet roll quality is 1 ply which is very bad.5. Price is expensive as compared to other hotels in the province that include awsome breakfast6. The lift it stops at the reception everytime you come from the parking lot at the ground floor By asking at the reception why she said the owner has to know who is coming and who is going which means that is invading someones privacy ad if you have a guest you either meet them at the reception or go out which is extremely extremely BAD7. There is a kettle but no milk, or sugar or tea or coffee8. If your late to checkout by 10 your charged R. 114.00 per hour. MOst of the hotels, lodges, b n bs if not all in the country checkout timings are from 11AM onwards again if someone is tired he has to rush and get up so that he could not be charged which is again HORRIDRules are followed not because you own a hotel or property or a guest house it has to be followed as per the convenience of the guests as the hotel is run because we visitors are staying in the hotels and we have the right to ponder out what is troublesome, hence the reputation is gone. .Not recommended to anyone at all !!!!

Service felt cold. Room was not cleaned on our first stay there. And on our last stay we were rushed to leave the place and we were even told that out bags will be moved out of the hotel if we are late.

Perftect accomodation

Actually one of the worst examples of customer service Ive seen in a long time! I was waiting in the reception area for a guest, and someone had an issue with the rules. I have never before heard of only two people in a room at any time in any hospitality venue before- and thanks to circumstances, this gentleman was unable to fetch his luggage from his room because of this rule.The manageress let the poor receptionist deal with this guy as he got (understandably) more irate, asking to speak to upper management. She then proceeded to sneak out the front door, in clear view of all the people in the reception area. She then returned 5 minutes later with a gentleman in tow via a back door, and then was decidedly unhelpful to the guest with the issue.Based on this experience I would never stay here, nor would I recommend anyone else to either. Basic industry protocol and general human manners are not practiced at this establishment- why ruin your trip dealing with bad attitudes?
