Theres a good reason for this 5 star rating. For one, the staff are very knowledgeable in terms of assisting you in choosing the right firearm for your intended usage ie. Personal defence, Duty, Hunting. They offer a good variety of pistols, shotguns and rifles as well as high quality accessories to match their application. A really good point to raise is that they are also up to date with current firearm legislation and will advise you accordingly should you have a question.The range is decent and offers 6 booths at a maximum range of around 15-20m which is great for practise as most engagements occur at this maximum distance. It also fairly affordable to rent a firearm for range use as well so you are able to test fire some of the pistols and shotguns available for shooting to decide if shooting really is for you.Overall, the staff are professional, and see many time wasters daily but try to give you all their attention. It is personally my recommended firearms dealer in Durban for these reasons.

Can never get hold of anyone, never come back to you regarding your enquiry, and on top of that, the most expensive gun shop in Durban. Dont bother phoning them.

To be honest the only reason to use Kings is because they are the only big store of their kind in Kzn. Friends and I all have the same experience when asked to get back to us about (expensive) rifles we would like to buy - promises are made about getting back (within a week) but this never materializes. Had reloading work that would be ready in a week not done in more than a month (again after I had to follow up I was told it would be done in the next week because someone was not there).... They have good variety of hunting supplies but it is worth my while to source same from Safari and Outdoor in Gauteng due to service... need to step it up guys!

Not only Firearms and related items, but also an extensive range of Fishing gear etc. Staff are knowledgeable and helpful (A NOTE on this to counter those posting negatively on this point: Customer service is a 2 way street - If you are just shooting the breeze, or just browsing, or merely researching your whims and wants ~ then its really not fair to expect Staff to drop everything and attend to you because youre bored or needy ;) Also not fair to judge Staff for mirroring Customers who walk in with with sometimes-less-than-amicable-attitudes.)

Kings is incredibly well maintained and set up. They keep a large amount of varied stock and service was fast and courteous.
