Best doctor, but his staff needs to be more efficient and helpful, they are rude and arrogant.
He is an unprofessional , heartless doctor who is only after money. In 2008 at age 16, I was admitted to Parklands hospital by him for chronic constipation. He treated me horribly, even referred to me as that woman by saying to his nurses does that woman have a drip on He tried random laxatives for 7 days, colonoscopy and some tests then ruled out my colon didnt function. He then scheduled an appointment for me to meet his friend Surgeon Rajput who would remove 2/3 of my colon as he said does not work. I refused and got discharged from that hospital. I was told that he put his head on the block and I will not survive much longer if I did not follow his advice. I some how managed to live the next 10 years still sick until I consulted Professor T. E Madiba ( Awarded Oncology Surgeon ) at St Augustines Hospital who was nothing but a loving father figure of a doctor. He cleared my bowel obstruction in theater for 4 hours under anesthesia and after that followed up with a proper dietary plan. He understood my condition as he is highly qualified so he knew the correct approach to follow. He even made my 3 day stay so comfortable by putting me in a Private ward which I cant afford. Im now 2 years pain free and healthy. Today, I would have been living with 2/3 of my colon cut out because of Dr Aboo which was not necessary . Please always take a second opinion before going ahead with any procedure!
He just touched my stomach and claimed R900 from my medical aid.
Love him, he literally saved my life during April - June 2018. Great service from his office consultants as well.
The very very best doctor in Durban/Parklands Hospital. Hi staff is very friendly /helpful and professional. Dr ABOO and his staff is simply the best. Patient for life Reynhardt van Rooyen
Highly do not recommend him
On Thurs the 6th Dec 2018 my niece was taken by ambulance to Parklands hospital and was admitted into the ICU. I live in Cape Town so I phoned the hospital and the ICU sister told me to contact her Dr N.Aboo which I promptly did. Dr Aboos assistant kept telling me he would phone me back but he never did. All I needed to know was how serious her condition was and how quickly should I get there. He didnt once have the decency to phone me. All in all I phoned his rooms a total of 13 times .......where is his compassion? I thought a Dr had some kind of obligation to his patient and their family? He obviously has none.....!Sadly my niece passed away at 5.15 the next morning as I was about to board my plane. If only he had spoken to me for just a few mins and explained her situation I would of flown up on the Thurs and she would not of been alone when she passed..........
