I recently had my wedding at Winchester Function Venue. Amidst the pandemic I had already had to postpone my wedding twice,however due to Samantha we managed to pull off the dream wedding while following all the government protocols. We hired out the Glass Banquet Hall and ended up adding the Deck and the Pool Hall to accommodate our guests, while not overcrowding, all of which were decorated perfectly and to my exact specifications. Samantha and her team especially their florist Amy and main man Gabriel on site managed to make my dream wedding come true. They have an incredible venue and an amazing team to follow through. Truly happy we chose them for our special day.

What a beautiful venue, helpful staff. Its amazing. Multiple areas to take photos, the open ceiling great for with Covid compliance. Their restroom is nice and big. Multiple mirrors so you always look your best. Amazing.

Absolutely stunning wedding venue. Everything was so neat and clean. Attended a friends wedding there recently and as was blown away about how well the function was done. I heard the owner handled everything - wow what a plus. I hope to have my wedding there one day in one of the many different function venues with ample parking and security. This gem of a place hidden away in reservoir hills. Well done to the owners for running such an awesome establishment👍

What a wonderful service we received at Winchester. The food was too delicious, decor was breath taking and dont get me started with the staff members ( waiters) they were very very very helpful. We had a wonderful experience. On my wedding day it was pouring with rain, and i was supposed to have a garden wedding and they rearranged my wedding to be indoors in 2 days and it was perfect. If you want your perfect wedding go to Winchester. I really think they very considerate with everything that is happening around the world. Price wise the are very reasonable. Absolute beauty in simplicity.My wedding was held on the 08 May 2021 after having to be postponed due to the lockdown regulations.My wedding reception was held at the Glass Banquet Hall. This White wonder allows for a vast array of every different ideas that you want, all in one venue, bringing your dreams to life.Samantha has an eye for amazing designs and colours. Her décor designs and ideas are impeccable. She assured me that my wedding would be able to take place whilst adhering to all Covid rules and regulations.My guests were absolutely amazed by the venue.The food was divine. The service was really good. I would definitely recommend choosing Winchester Venues for your future functions.Thank you to Samantha, Gabriel, Dillon and Team for making sure My Big Day was the most memorable experience.

The Windsor Glass Pool Banquet is a real eye catcher with open glass windows with a large pool center. The Colony Room serves as a great venue for an intimate birthday party venue, or bridal/baby shower venue. I have had two pre-wedding functions at this venue and on both occasions; my guests and myself were blown away. The professionalism and attention to detail were second to none. I told Samantha that I will leave the decor and setting to her and she never failed to amaze us. We were blown away as we did not know what to expect. The food, from starters to desserts were on point and the overall experience was brilliant. Samantha is absolutely great at what she does and adheres to all requirements. I highly recommend this venue.

Breathtaking venues!! Each venue is so stunning, certainly unique settings. The tasteful furniture in each venue boasts with posh and style, well done to the owners. I attended a function this weekend, and had time to peek at the rest of the venues, all too beautiful! The service and food was very good. Friendly staff, and definitely delicious meals. Durban needed a breathtaking new venue with uniqueness.

Attended a wedding today, I was completely spellbound. Durban so needed a beautiful upmarket venue, with so many options for venues to consider. The venue, decor and food was so on point. The meal choices were great and so delicious! Everything was perfect. Classy decor. Even staff attire was so professional.

My wedding was set to take place on the 04th Of April 2020 at The Winchester Function venue, it was going to be a real Fairytale wedding, with the whole worx, Wedding, Reception, Bespoke designs, helicopter landing you name it. But sadly like Thousands of Brides, it had to be postponed. For my fiancé and I , I lost count to how many times we had come that close to tying the knot but not. Throughout the Lockdown and thereafter was filled with waves of Stress. But Samantha Reassured me that we should not stress and once this is all over, we will proceed once more with first preference. I on the other hand had totally given up on the idea of a wedding and accepted it as it is. Cris, Samanthas husband, Explaining via a concerned email that he fully understood our situation and reassured us that once they Opened up again for Operation we will be contacted. I had by then cancelled with each and every other service provider, because I totally had given up on the thought of a wedding. Samantha indeed did hear me out, with more empathy and kindness than any other of our service providers have shown us. She efficiently put together a team of service providers of choice for me and basically re-planned my wedding in just over a week, and once again I am all set for a take 2. Considering this was an industry that was deprived of trade for months due to the Pandemic. To cut a long story short, their Excellence, their service and their venue is nothing short of absolute class. In every situation we must learn to live and let live. I am absolutely humbled by the way they handled everything, and I have put the faith of my wedding entirely in their hands and they have maintained what they do best without fault. Would I recommend the Winchester Team? Absolutely! To any girl who has dreamt of the perfect wedding, and any groom who would want to bring absolute joy to his Brides special day.

This venue is beautiful for a wedding, the were no issues with parking and they have a small area which was used for a salah (prayer) room. It did not feel like we were in Reservoir Hills once we entered the premises . Definitely contact the relevant parties if you are planning a wedding !

I had my Engagement at The Winchester (Pool banquet Venue) on 2 June 2019. From the word go everything was what I wanted....and more. Dr Samantha Naidoo, Gabriel and team worked hard and dealt with every request I had with no complaints. From the scrumptious meals to the breath taking decor, you get what you pay for! I will definitely be using The Winchester again.

An amazing place to hold functions like weddings and birthday parties. A lot of parking, great decor and easy access.

The setting was excellent. The views were awesome. The facility was accommodating for the disabled. I overall enjoyed the experience. I recommend it for functions such as weddings or baby-showers.

An Absolutely amazing venue. From the actual venue , to the food to the staff. Everything was perfect. The staff are hands on to ensure the functions are smooth flowing. The owner is very accommodating and is present from start to finish to ensure everything is flaw less.

The Winchester events centre is the best the place itself is very secure found in Westville place is very spacious and lavish perfect for wedding receptions and other events employees day of very helpful very polite and will go out of their way to make you feel like royalty exceptional service both from security and the events staff overall experience of the Winchester events and so was absolutely amazing and I would totally totally totally go again

A fantastic FUNCTION VENUE. A venue which is classy trendy and upmarket with all the facilities required for your private function whether its a birthday party, social gathering conference etc etc. The venue is tastefully decorated and will add to your unforgettable evening. Food is authentic Indian with roasts and desserts and lots more. A cosy bar on the premises.

Truely the best venue available in Durban at the moment. I had my wedding here and I can honestly say it was worth every cent. The place when set up looked better than I could imagine and not a single complaint with the food. The team also worked very well and were extremely accomodating.

Everything was done on time, from the delicious starters, to the Champaign and the main meals. Wow we were so impressed. Let me say that the food was just superb and there was more than enough for guests to go back for more.Your staff were also super. Friendly, professional and so helpful.I am sure that there will be a few clients for The Winchester after this function.

Simply exquisite venue. Elegantly decorated and professionally handled by staff and management. Staff were friendly and courteous. Food was exquisite and served on time. Plates were picked up timeously. If I could rate this venue out of 10, I would rate it at and 11. Superbly done Winchester. Totally thrilled with the event that I attended.

An absolute beautiful place. The main area is so specular. My cousin had his wedding there in October and it was simply astonishing at how beautiful the venue was.

Food and decor was excellent but clearly the owner does not practise being clean. On our table and others, the glasses had lipstick stains on them showing that the dishes were not washed properly from previous function and when brought to attention of the service staff, they said they cannot do anything.

Venue is absolutely beautiful of excellent class, but the owners really showed they poor class of rudeness ,low class of loyalty.My wedding - Samantha husband chris decided to fight with the photographer basically that was the start of my wedding. So you can imagine what i was feeling at this moment.Our wedding had a set time to start which samantha promised that the other function will be out by than.But the other function was still there playing they music etc. ....... no words to there success for the future.It rained a little on my wedding day, and i paid for 2 venues. My husband clearly told samantha to serve the alcohol after the reception of our wedding.While my husband i when for our photo shoot and come back the drinks was already served people was drunk seated at our reception.And samantha knew that when we come back from our photo shoot than to allow the people in the reception area. Apparantly chris asked everyone to come to the reception area. Cause it was raining and they are getting wet outside.But i paid for 2 venues, everyone was suppose to go back to the ceremony area.Which samantha and her team was setting up for the next wedding. Such a......holes.There was so many promises sadly never met any needs of mine.Yes its been 1 years, never did anything about all the pain i have been throughBut i serve a living God, when people do you wrong leave them to there own timing. God will surely make you take the seat.My Deco people have also let me down, apparantly Chris told them what they could and couldnt do.Including my mc let me down which i also paid alot money for, and Chris apparantly screamed at them before my wedding reception.Before all of this i wanted to cancel because everything that was been told to me in the beginning was more like lies to believe.And Chriss intentions totally was to ruin our day.But left God to deal with them, what you do to others will come back to you.

Been trying to secure the venue for 3 months, after constantly being reassured by owners they unavailable to send correspondence but not to worry the hall is available the owners told us last week that the venue was taken, utterly disappointed, poor communication, will not be referring this establishment to anyone. Dont rely on this venue if you dont get feedback or even if you get reassurance that the venue is available.

Mens section not air conditioned but they had 3 fans for the whole hall. It was hot and humid.
