The COVID-19 protocols were really strict, which was good. Theres plenty on staff on hand to help you all the time. Best for bulk buying or for large families. They do have specials on certain things. But I mostly go for the bagged Sovereign Foods crumbed chicken products, which are super tasty and very easy snacks or meals for the family. Great experience shopping there!

Not a pleasant visit today.My wife and I visited the establishment this afternoon and so happened that we lost her purse which had cash about R 1000 .00 and was lost . I was not impressed with the way this was handled especially by the old man Mohammeds conduct , very cheeky and aragant no regard for customers nor customer service I had to be rude in order for them to take our case seriously he just wasnt helpful at all and the mere fact that he even told me he isnt obligated to screen cameras for us to ensure that the purse was not left in the store was beyond me .Then again it was never about the money just the principle of customer service the visit was not pleasant at all however kodus to Adjith and the rest of the staff for showing compassion.

There are no wet wipes for the trolleys. No one sanitize trolley either. I dont feel SAFE buying from them. They have lovely Chicken but during the Covid19 Pandemic they are careless, its not like they dont have money to buy wet wipes. I am disappointed 😑Dawood you CAN do Better!

When you walk in it seems nice at first but when u attempt to help yourself to stuff in the fridge instead of having a sign to notify customers not to open the fridge the person puts their hands across where u made to feel like a thief...really very uncalled for. Everyone is fully aware of covid protocol but not this type of behavior. Staff dont even smile or greet you feel very unwelcome.

Try their spicy crumbled wings and crumbled chicken cheese strips. The 5KG frozen chicken thighs at R145 was super cheap but chicken was quite fatty. Service is excellent and check out quick. Shop is clean and neat. Ample parking outside and ample security.

I only purchase the spiced patties and strips as its great tasting and not processed meat. Prices on them are reasonably higher but worth it for a burger or lunch. Their are frozen mixed portions available as well as bulk purchases on chicken for buyers. Store sells sauces and oil as well with some fish portions. Frozen chips available as well. Need better variety on chicken options - sausages etc.

I dont seem to understand why the Indian staff of Dawoods are so sulky unlike the black staff who are very friendly and serve you with a smile. I have visited the more than ten times now and still dont get a smile from any of them. Its such lovely place to buy all your chicken needs and they have everything chicken wise
