Honestly want to say a BIG THANK YOU to the Durban Fire Department. We had a fire in our yard in Bluff and they arrived so quickly to put it out, they saved our lives, and we are eternally thankful. God is amazing, for blessing us with these amazing and brave fire-fighters. Thank you for saving us 🙏🏼✝️

Had fire at Himalaya Flat (165 warwick avenue,Makethe); just less than five minute walk from flat to actual fire station.1. No sense of urgency on the one who picked the call to take the details...2. They arrived 15 min later; they took the longest route 😣😣😣while there was a shortcut...3. After theyve arrived, there was no sense of urgency in connecting their water pipes...IF THERE WAS AN OPTION FOR HALF A STAR, THAT WHAT I WAS GOING TO GIVE THEM... FOR JUST SAYING THANKS FOR ARRIVING...Ill appreciate if they may improve in the sense of urgency aspect.If theres some paper work that delays them from leaving the station after the call has been logged... May their management intervene.We appreciate the job they doing.

Amazing quick response to North Beach yesterday, prevented a total disaster, 4 trucks arrived, everybody calm and collected, thank you for a job well done.

You never stopped until you rescued a kitten stuck in a deep hole/ pillar. I am eternally grateful ...You guys spent time and never gave up. You saved a helpless situation . Keep up the good work.
