Food is great and atmosphere is relaxed. Service is great and the menu provides a wide variety at reasonable prices. Relaxed and natural feel when seated outside. The waiter is on the ball and at your service throughout your stay.

Relaxed take-away / restaurant with great service and atmosphere. The burgers are excellent and from what we saw served to tables around us, the ribs a crowd-pleaser. No matter what you order, order chips. We had a large portion to share (between 2) and it was a generous dinner plate full of really exceptional homecut fries.

A small but potent place. A big menu with decent prices. From ribs to wraps, they cater for all.Quick service and tasty food. Love the fact that they have different specials for different days. Comics comes a long way and never failed me in their quality of food.

Used to be a regular for last 4 yearsMy review used to be 5 starsThe other day I was dying for mince on toast but as it was after 11 they were not interested in making it for me.Then today there was absolutely zero parking except for their loading zone.I got told that I cant park there even though I offered to move as soon as a parking became available or if they got a delivery.Same story not interested in helping.They would rather I eat somewhere else than park in their loading zone for a few minutes.I found a new place down the road at the mall great food and prices .All day breakfast and no petty people giving me grief about parking

Our order were not taken properly. We ordered 2 hamburger and chips combos as well as another Hawaiian burger and chips. This took approximately45 minutes. Two large burgers and our Hawaiian burgers arrived with no chips. Not recommended.

Food was fine, service was good. The hollandaise sauce I had, was not hollandaise. It tasted like dessert cream was used in it. The rest of the meal was good, but definitely let down tlby the hollandaise sauce.

Sitting outside is pleasant but the toasted sandwich had been fried and was oily, my banana inside had a lot of black bits on, probably an old banana. The waitress was not friendly, I wont go back there again.

This place is quaint. Its fun to look around. It puts me in touch with my inner child. My teen kids enjoyed it too. And they serve drinks, so we made a family outing of it. Good service and good atmosphere.

On Sunday my husband and I decided to have a takeaway pizza from Comics.Usually we have great service and the food is good.This time we walk in and the lady has her head down at the till point so couldnt even see us walking in.We sit down to have a drink while we wait for our pizzas. What a big disappointment.I am a vegetarian and I ordered a cheese pizza with extra mushrooms and extra pepper only to get a pizza with a couple of mushrooms and 5 slices of pepper... Definitely not work it!Note that I have ordered this before but never have I ever had 5 pepper slices as if it was just decoration.

Decent food and quality(fastfood/pub food) for the price, and what they actually cater for in general. Ribs are very good. Food was quick to prepare and well priced. They do sell alcohol, parking is easy.

The burgers and ribs are the bomb diggity. I just had a sit down burger and chips. The chips I got came straight out of the fryer and were pretty much the best chips Ive ever had. 10/10 would continue coming here for years

What can I say about Comics? From my first visit many, many moons ago, up to this very day, I have never had a meal that I was disappointed with. And that says a great deal, as everyones allowed an off-day, yes? As usual, the bacon, egg and cheese burger was just right! After all, when all is said and done, its all about the food... 😋

Service and food always good. Legendary status in Durban for their burgers and pizzas. Must try if you havent. Portions wont leave you hungry.

Nice little place to eat or grab some take away on the way home. Cool decor and a family-type vibe. Pity that its a mission to use the bathrooms but I can overlook it for everything else.
