Hello,My name is Sister Priscilla Dlamini from the Holy Cross Aids Hospice. I established this hospice in the year 2000 and opened my Eskom Electricity account one year later. I have never been in arrears since inception. I take care of terminally ill; people dying of Hiv / Aids and other chronic diseases, in addition I take care of 120 children, mostly orphans, on site every day from Monday to Friday. Eskom has been giving us continuous problems, for years now, asking us to pay for their wrong doings. They give us bills of unkown account numbers... Today they came and shut the electricity off, meaning the people who are dying can not be cared for in the dark, no water to wash them, to prepare meals is impossible for the people who are dying and the 120 children our staff take care off.-SHAME ON YOU-, we have voluntary workers from abroad who have come to help us to look after these people, and will also be in the dark with no food or electricity... According to the law we should have a high priority since we not only give back to the community but help the people who have the upper most need, according to my account I HAVE ALWAYS ALL MY BILLS. IT IS EMINENT YOU TURN OUR ELECTRICITY ON IMMEDIATELY!Dear Eskom,Thank you for turning our electricity back on. Although your huge scandal cost us a whole night of making fresh water. since we have a pump which filters the water and supplies not only our establishment but also the establishment of the priest next door. We ended up trying to replenish our water supply until 9 oclock this morning. We would like to thank the people who have been sympathizing with our problem. This scandal has not come unscathed since the voluntary worker had no water and electricity last night.
