As much as AVIS has awesome and cost effective deals, the service in the Durban branch is not so good. I have learned the hard way that if I didnt find the only two friendly and efficient ladies I must rather go to the airport branch. They really need to work on their customer service.

Really like the car they offered me suited me well and light on fuel. One thing for they always take something from the deposit when they have to refund you back. Wish thy could compromide on the cheque account users. Not everyone needs a credit card but can afford to hire a car but are limited by the request of credit cards.

Stood in a queue this afternoon at King Shaka for 15minutes. it was busy with only 2 counters out of 14 open.when we told the lady that helped us, Amanda she was just rude with us. I booked thru my ebuks and was told there is only one driver. yet my ebuks confirmation said i get a free driver on the weekend. R600 for 3 days rental and you dnt even get helped when you walk in.Your service stays terrible !!Will not EVER book thru Avis again!!!

Return was efficient with help of Trainee lady.

They do try to help but. .the day I visited their computer systems were down and they coped very poorly...long delay. However, very conveniently located and the car was fine.

We phoned the day we booked the vehicle, and confirmed CLA 200 MERCEDES-BENZ. AT pick up point , The Lady staff pushed C 180 MERCEDES-BENZ. I tried for CLA MERCEDES-BENZ, the STAFF AND PERSON IN CHARGE REFUSED TO BUDGE, .. THEY DO NOT HAVE CLA MERCEDES-BENZ IN THEIR RANGE...What a Joke???
