I love, love, love this place!!! Delicious, satisfying, healthy food with a nice, but simple outdoor courtyard. I travel throughout the world and am always looking for great plant based cafes. Valeo is one of my all time favorites. I especially love the fritter stack...brimming with goodness and layered with flavorful pesto and balsamic reduction. Give this place a try. Youll leave feeling healthy and satisfied!

Interesting and beautifully presented vegetarian food.

Food was good and the waitor was friendly but his service delivery wasnt up to scratch. He only told me after I had eaten quite a bit of my lunch that they had run out of an ingredient for the drink that I had ordered and that was roughly 30 mins after we had placed the order. He also wasnt very clear on what desserts were available or the name of them

My home away from home... for food that is. Best vegan food in Durban. Give them a try if in mood for some deliciousness. I would highly recommend the fritter stack.

Dr Matthis is a great doctor. Friendly, knowledgeable and great with kids. My whole family have been clients of his since 2005 and not 1 complaint.

Valeo whole foods has been a place on my favorite list...Yesterday, I finally ventured in their neck of the woods, in Durban North, with my daughter who is now an avid vegan advocate. So! When eating out, weve tried to get the best of both worlds but when shes taking the bill, vegan dining is a must! Lets just say I was not sorry. I myself, am more an advocate for organic wholefoods.This little cafe is divine...neat, quaint and the aesthetic...wow!I could not decide which was better- the food or the decor, both were pleasing to the eye! The jury is still out on this one. Maybe you can help me decide?? This place is so small you might just miss it! Small! yet bursting with goodness and greatness.If you are an avid veganer, or vegetarian, then this place is a must! The meal was good, flavourful and extremely nutritious. Its the first time I realised that eating a healthy vegan burger could be so filling. The only negative I have about this place is that the service could be a bit more inviting and friendly. Other than that, everything was on par. The products available in the health store are too many to mention and prices are a bit steep but I guess its worth it when you consider that not many places stock the foods this health store has.
