Clean shopping environment , great selection of everything , good sushi . worth a visit

The service was excellent. Cashiers were friendly, assistantsv were available to give advice and directions, social distancing observed, shoppers were wearing masks.ALL the customers were friendly and respected one another.Thanks for the good service.

Although the parking lot was full, there were no queues (around midday). A bit of ingenious merchandising with re-arranging the store layout to disguise the lack of stock but a fair range of food products including fresh produce still available. There was an evidence of staff replenishing the shelves where possible. Thank you for your efforts in continuing a supply line through these challenging times.

Very neat and clean shop...

Beantree Cafes Fish and Chips special was really most disappointing. Even after returning our food to the kitchen their second attempt was not much better. The supermarket itself is always a great place to visit though.

It is always clean and fresh produce, deli and bakery are always well stocked with FRESH goodies.Staff are friendly and helpful for the most part, and the food at the restaurant is always good and excellent value for money.I give minus a star rating for shelves that are not marked with prices and for merchandisers taking most of the isle space during busy periods. Other than that, an extremely pleasant, well-presented store

I miss my Spar, in the whole of SA, they have THE best samoosas, frosted doughnuts and cinnimon balls. The shop is always clean, the butcher always helpful and even the floor manager greets you and assists you.

The service in the coffee shop area wants supervision. 4 of us visit there 3 to 4 times a month for breakfast or coffee but need to keep chivvying the waitresses. Wheres thr salt and pepper please, wheres the tomato sauce please and so it carries. Getting attention to obtain the bill means calling to the waitresses standing facing away from the seating area, too busy chatting and not paying attention to the floor.

Nice spar and selection but multiple dead flies on fridge shelves by bacon and cheeses, apparently doesnt get checked very often by merchandisers.

Always clean. Safety measures always adhered to. Sanitizers every where at the entrance. Never overcrowded. Specials always available. Fresh foods. Overall just a calm comfortable shopping experience.

Cold meat selection very poor! You have changed the tradition salami and its terrible and no pork roasts available

We ordered Sushi, 9 pack of the R85.00 over the phone. The line wasnt clear so I think it dropped before any confirmation was made. We got there and the guy who makes sushi said he wasnt sure how many we wanted so he made more. He was also very friendly and showed us what we can have. Boy oh boy, it was delicious and fresh- perfect way to end our beach day. Thank you

A well stocked, clean, friendly and affordable Supermarket. Best Rolls from all the local Supermarket bakeries. Friendly staff. Good Sushi with Monday night 20% special. Not always the cheapest but fair value. Parking is convenient and free.

Always a pleasure to shop at this spar. Their produce is fresh. Staff is friendly and accommodating. This spar has alot of items being promoted so new products can be tried out. The in house restaurant serves deficits food with big portions. All round pleasant shopping experience.

Great place for shopping. They have a great Deli with all sorts of things to eat, freshly made wraps and my favorite the Sushi Bar. Nice bakery with Freshly made pancakes and a great staff all round. Overall a good shopping experience.

Please can your staff come to East and superstar and teach them about being amazing!I popped in the other yesterday and was behind an older lady who was battling with walkers and keys and cards as we all do, the teller and the bag packer were patient and friendly and helpful. They treated her with respect and even commented on her shopping bag!I waited and did not mind because I love to see such amazing people.When it was my turn, they carried on being amazing. Fast, efficient and friendly.Well done and thank you!

Milk gone bad within expiry changed 4 times yet no advisory or product not taken off shelf. Manager Deon had the gal to refuse my wife exchange of product that had gone bad although she was one day late . Poor service..

I love shopping at this SPAR. There is plenty of parking and I can get in and out quickly as there are always enough cashiers on duty. Cheese and Toilet Paper are almost always on special - and they stock the frozen dog food my fussy pooch loves... Oh, and the ready-to-eat mutton curry is delicious!
