Basically the only shop where I do my groceries. The staff are amazing! They are helpful and friendly and will go out of their way to help you. My favourite Spar! And they have won the Readers Choice Award numerous times, so that should speak for itself

Very busy store. Obviously popular because they have a large variety of product. Prices a little high. Cooked food, cakes and bread. A interesting selection of items.

Shopped and came home a happy bunny BUT when I came home and wanted to eat the salad it was old and slimy. Packed on 14th . Today is 15th!! Sell by 16th. I did take photos and will show them. Did not expect that.

Glenwood Spar is my go to shop. I like that they cater for most of my needs. I shop weekly and their packaging of smaller portions of meat etc suits me perfect. Their specials are just what we need in tough times. Staff are very friendly and helpful and their occasional singing of Happy Birthday is a treat. A clean,neat and well managed store.

A fantastic place barring a bad area butgreat in particular for deli, BILTONG,Home made food and nutty corners,Bacon rolls and pizzas were my most popularchoice!Rather sad about the violence and looting that has left this and the entire village suffering serious damage but due tosafety concerns till further notice,I’m avoiding this area!

Best supermarket in Glenwood. Its surprisingly big for the little shopping centre its located in. Neat and tidy. Always good specials. The hot and cold ready made foods are great and convenient. Nice bakery too.

Love this Spar wish I could shop there all the time. Their food always is fresh and like you would want to buy it. Products are easy to find. The aisles are well set out shelves well packed.

Glenwood SUPERSPAR, is well run, and delivers really good service. The staff are helpfulness and caurteous.

Update -called as they ask me, so went back and ordered the same thing... What a difference attitude makes. Vanessa the manager, is the loveliest person you could hope to meet! Patricia is also a star. So ignore the rest please! Stopped in yesterday to grab some lunch from the deli and decided on the mutton curry and rice special R52... Was not given utensils had to wait and ask, wasnt offered salt and omg it was needed. Rice, zero seasoning, was seriously bland, curry was so so and also desperately lacking seasoning, staff at the deli made you feel like they were doing you a favour....will think twice about stopping there again. Cashiers, however, were sweet and friendly, so I will shop there for groceries but from now on, thats all!

Glenwood Spar makes the best snowballs in the country👍I have tried Knowles, Sandys Centre, North Beach, all of them but Glenwood takes the prize🏆 Also their service is amazing. Their staff is super friendly.. Keep it up guys!!

Always a pleasure to shop at this Spar. I rate the staff at Glenwood the best staff of any Spar Ive shopped at. Friendly, helpful and have amazing gees (spirit)., especially the way they embrace holidays and special occasions ( Heritage Day for example).

Staff is friendly and food is the bomb I just love my Sunday morning visits after church. The smell from the road is just inviting. Evn one car guard in particular is so honest I dropped my purse while parking and he found me in the store and returned it. Now thats on another level i just love my Glenwood Spar

Was there today for the 1st time. Its not clean there are flies all over the baked goods and the salad bar stank. Did not buy one thing. Walked out and will never go back.

Staff are helpful and service with a smile . In a safe centre with parking , road parking also available with plentiful car guards . First class shopping in Durban , worth a visit.

We really appreciate the flexibility you are offering by allowing various forms of submitting the order, and the ease and speed at which you carried out our requests. We’re absolutely blown away! This is in stark contrast to another big Supermarket brand where we ordered on their website yesterday and will only receive our delivery in 10 days’ time… we would have starved to death by then if it weren’t for you guys, so thank you. Simply love doing my shopping at this clean, fresh and friendly store.Their in store baked bread is reasonably priced and always piping hot out the oven.A purchase of their pastries is at least a once a week treat for moi.The staff are friendly, polite and efficient.Great store promotions with staff showing off their marketing skills that creates a sense of belonging to a buzzing valuable shopping experience.The cashiers are fast and friendly and anticipate the shoppers requests and needs which I have not noticed in other major retail stores.This, to me is a bright feather in the managements hat.Keep up the consistent good service, quality and knowing that there is a friendly Spar wherever you are.

Its one of the best Spar around. The food section is amazing. Sometimes vegetables are over cooked but I love it. And the staff is so friendly. Store sections divided up so well. Lol I love it. Kudos to the management and staff.
