Well laid out with fresh breads and fare. Wide aisles for everyone to drive trolleys safely, and no blind rises for overtaking on. Its well situated and carries all that one would need. They make an awesome sourdough bread too. See you there. All safety protocols are well observed. Excellent customer service.

Well finally great to be a shopper , after serious security issues so now got theseguys to visit and they have everything and agood deli section too!So now I’ve got 2 places opposite each otherto buy my essentials and food and drinkfor the night !

On a serious note, this Kwikspar really do have the absolute BEST cooked lunch meals. I have bought my lunch here everyday for work for the past 2 years.

I love the Spar brand .I also like the layout of this store and its unique specialty foods and products - like the carved wood bread boards etc. Their hot foods are also Delicious. All round excellent quick shopping destination. Holdens Kwikspar is highly recommended.

Can you please mention on your food products what allergens one needs to look out for. I bought a Thai chicken wrap only to find peanuts in it. And Im allergic had I not had a nudge to inspect it. I would be singing a different tune right now...

Pathetic service. Interacted with 5 staff ranging from butchery to biltong bar to supervisors. 4 of the 5 staff were totally unhelpful and disinterested. Does not speak very well of the service Im used to from the Spar Brand. Please educate your staff about the ethos & values of the Spar Brand. Also would be great if you could learn more about customer service by taking a page out of Westville Spar !!

When in Durban on business, I buy lunch here and sit under the trees of Mitchell Park. Great take-away. Small but tasteful SPAR.Holdens have been in grocery for at least 60 years.

Have been going here since I was a child, friendly staff and good selection of food and necessities.

Great little store with the essentials and more.Paired with a tops for the booze inclined.Parking is an issue at peak periods which may put off a few ppl. However if you park a little further down or up the road you can pick up a meal at one of the many take aways.

It serves as a quick stop if you have run out of basic stuff. Their prices are higher than other SPAR stores. Only parking is on the street and limited.

Bought three pre-made wraps - I think they washed the floor with the lettuce and soaked the wraps in rainwater for three weeks.. may be good for someone with no teeth or tastebuds though.
