Beverley Country Cottages is a fantastic place to stay! This has been my second visit and will not be my last. The farm is stunning and great for kids and dogs. My first visit was to the cottages, they are well equipped, tastefully decorated and private. We loved sitting enjoying the view and the cows from the patio and loved cosying around the fire place relaxing in the evening. My second trip was solo and I stayed in the B&B suite. Again loved everything about the place! Beautiful spacious rooms with a gorgeous view. Lovely big victorian bath and everything you would need for a winter stay over. Kate is a fantastic host who makes you feel so welcome, this place is an absolute gem, cant wait for my next visit!

From exploring the gardens and using the tyre swing to enjoing the falling of snow. Beverly country cottages was by far the best experience we had as a family. We were greeted by Kate and staff on arrival with 4 of her lovely and friendly four legged friends my 17 month old took a fancy to her lab Major. We recieved a personalised letter that explained everything available in the area which we found to be a nice touch. We were also given farm fresh jersey milk for our coffee and scrumptious home baked buiscuits for our coffee which was much needed after a 5 hour drive with a toddler. Another highlight was returning from a freezing day feeling so cold due to the change in weather discussing how we are going to make a large fire to warm up and as we step inside the fire was already blazing nice and warm and cozy. Every day when we go out to explore the fairies would come in and we would find our home away from home spotlessly clean.Thank you so much to everyone at Beverly Country Cottages for making our stay so wonderfilly peacful, you made us feel welcome and valued.

Calm, peaceful B&B in the heart of the countryside. 5-star service with luxuriously comfortable rooms... Ideal for a romantic getaway or short stay. Or stay awhile and write your next novel. So impressed with the wonderful staff: so kind and attentive -- nothing was too much trouble. And what lovely, leisurely breakfasts, served on the patio or in your room! We look forward to returning.

We stayed at the Hayloft for our Anniversary weekend. We could not ask for more. Food ordered from the farm stall was delicious. We used the fireplace on the cold Saturday to warm us up. We loved the 10.30 checkout time as well as the piping hot showers to ward off the cold. The cottage was serviced by Anna when we left on Saturday to meander. Thank you for such an enjoyable stay the venue and services were outstanding.

On arrival we were warmly greeted by the owner - a great way to start your stay!We stayed in Hayloft - basic but comfortable with lots of thoughtful extras - vases of fresh flowers, candles and matches next to the bed, in the lounge and in the bathroom, liquid hand wash, a face-cloth and little bars of soap, cotton buds, a hairdryer in the cupboard, magazines, a small jug of fresh farm milk in the fridge and even a jar with some home-made biscuits on the tea table!Hayloft is very cosy with good quality linen on the bed, a fire-place in the lounge, a heater in the bedroom and even one in the bathroom - which has not only a bath but a huge double shower! The fire-place is cleaned out daily and re-stacked by one of the friendly staff members and ample wood is supplied free of charge. You definitely will not feel the chill even on the coldest winter night as the fire warms the entire open-plan unit. The owners also allowed us access to the other units for the purpose of our travel blog and we were very impressed with what we saw.The Dairy Cottage has a lovely uninterrupted view of the mountain as well as two en-suite bedrooms and a lovely lounge with a massive fireplace. The Stables looks onto the back of Hayloft and boasts 3 en-suite bedrooms, ideal for a get-together with family or friends. The most luxurious and private unit of all is The Thatched Cottage - set far apart from the other units with a stunning view of the mountains this 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom unit is definitely the one to book if you really want to spoil yourself!Traveller hints and tips:* Although cosy and charming, Hayloft has only a curtain separating the bathroom from the bedroom (which is right next door). Best suited to singles or those who have already taken their relationship to the next level. The other units all have doors on the bathrooms.* Fortunately for us not all the units were booked when we stayed, if there had been other people in the Dairy Cottage and The Stables, we would not have felt that we had that much privacy in Hayloft.

My daughter and I enjoyed our short stay here in the Blue Room. The grounds are quite lovely, with gardens leading from one to another, and a horse pen nearby. A super friendly owner, helpful staff, and a small contingent of dogs, cats, and chickens with the run of the place. Our room was comfortable and well-appointed. And an enormous bathroom. Breakfasts were good; dinners were a bit hit or miss. Instead, I strongly recommend the Il Postino Italian restaurant, about 15 minutes away (closed on Mondays). The entire property is enclosed by fences, so the only way in or out—whether by car or on foot—is via the single security gate. There isnt much walking in the immediate area anyway, so its better to drive to a hiking spot (we spent a day hiking Highmoor, further north). My daughter was lucky enough to land a short horse-riding lesson here with the help of the owners young girls—one of the highlights!
