Stunning establishment and wonderful hosts in Frank and Tanya. Highly recommended when one wants to stay over in Ceres. Thd surrounding mountains, which serves as an amazing backdrop, also does not disappoint.

Im glad that I chose Chantilly Guesthouse from among the many other options in Ceres. I preferred a natural environment with a garden setting, privacy, a fire place (plus air conditioning as a long shot ideal) cosiness, spaciousness and a lounge area to just relax and listen to beautiful soft music while enjoying the warmth and glow of the fire. All this and more could be had at Chantilly!

Excellent accomodation, pool area & garden area. Serene.

Secure parking and secure room entrance with minimal amenities. Nice garden and outside area with a pool view. No coffee or tea available of what we could find, also we only had half a roll of toilet paper upon arrival with an empty roll in the bin. There was a ready packed fireplace with lighter and wood. They did offer a small soap and clean towels. There was an electrical issue with the geyser and as such we had no hot water and a subsequent cold shower, but not the owners fault. They did respond quickly and offered a place to shower in the main house which we refused due to time restraints. They offer wifi but very slow connection speeds, fast enough for very basic internet usage only. There is a pull out double couch for extra sleeping space in the same room. On a side note we dropped a small charging port and had to search under the bed, omw the dust and cobwebs were everywhere and also behind the sleeper couch cushions, parked in the corner. But all small issues which can be resolved with minimal effort. Overall it is a nice an quiet environment away from the noisy main Street with very good security measures in place. Automated lights, burglar bars and security gates.

Peace and tranquility

This beautiful geusthouse is located in a quiet residential area. The garden & pool area is stunning. The owners are so friendly and prepared a delicious traditional brakfast. The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated. We have stayed before and will definitely be back. Thank you for a fantastic weekend!

Chantilly Guest House was the perfect stop back from AfricaBurn on our way back to Cape Town.When you arrive you can see this is a guesthouse that a lot of love and work went into.Very friendly and helpful owners.The room was very spacious. A separate kitchen-dining room area and a large room.The guesthouse is in the style of the old dutch houses with a bit of a modern touch.There are beautiful gardens to relax in, be it in your private Barbeque area or next to the pool is the lush and green garden. Your room overlooks the pool on the opposite side of the lovely house.It is a self-catering guest house, with all the kitchen implements you could need.There is also Wifi and DSTV.The suburb it is in, is very quiet and the house is nestled between some other old and lovely homes.I would highly recommend Chantilly Guest House if you ever need a place to stay over for a few days in Ceres.The price is very good considering all you get.Loved it and will certainly return.

Very bad reception. Very bad experience. Toilet door too small for the door opening (a sliding door): owner didnt even apologise, when we brought it to their attention. They have no Credit Card facilities: tells you to go draw cash (which makes you wonder if the cash is even recorded somewhere, since no computer receipt is issued either) - makes you wonder??????? Hostess: very bad attitude. Will never ever sleep there again and will not recommend this guest house to anyone! We give Chantilly Guest House 1 star. POOR !!!!!!!!
