Rustic cosy restaurant. Good food. Might have to wait a bit for meals though

Someone tampered with the boot of my car trying to break in. Was parked right infront of the Dros in view of the entrance. The Dros itself is good with great service. Just not safe to park there.

A dismal sad place. The Dros Centurion is a throwback to an earlier less charming time. The surroundings are dire, the beer selection is even more dire. This is the type of venue that puts rice in the salt to keep it from clogging. Google a little, you can do better.

Cozy atmosphere, welcoming management, great and reasonably priced breakfast served by waiter Irvine who was very friendly, efficient and helpful. We will be back soon!

My boyfriend took me for brunch on my birthday and we shared a bottle of wine to kick start the celebrations. The friendly manager gave us the bottle of wine on the house as a birthday present. Thank you to all the friendly staff at Dros Centurion for making my day special too.

Really good food, great specials. Ive had the Dros-os twice. Its 👌and more than enough for lunch the next day.

They are trading under strict tough conditions, and still manage to follow all the distancing rules, and still make you feel welcome at the same time. They still have fun by things like blocking off tables with teddy bears sitting on the chairs with notes attached. Limited menu offering like most places now but Im sure will extend soon. Can recommend as a good place to meet up for a catch up

What really nice surprise being here - with every main meal (weekends only) children eat for free from the kiddies menu! What was more amazing is that the portions are big. Thanks to Ian our waiter.

We arrived while they were still serving breakfast, we werent in the mood for eggs and bacon and we asked if they could make a special order for us outside of the breakfast menu, they were incredibly accommodating. The staff and management were excellent, the food was really good and it was an overall really pleasant place to have a non-breakfast breakfast

Not had a pleasant experience here. Waiters were the only good thing about the night. 3 different times people from the street came to our table trying to sell us random things an begging for money whilst we tried to enjoy our meal, they just walk freely around the restaurant going from table to table. Verry unprofessional for a restaurant!! The food was very disappointing and we received a meal with half the items listed on the menu. WILL NOT BE COMING BACK

I must say I was quite excited to try Dros after Ive heard that Dros is under new management, weve decided to try them on the 25th of March, very friendly staff.However i cannot say Ill be visiting again, coffee took 25 minutes to arrive, pumpkin was sour, i have to keep reminding the staff for things weve ordered. I cannot say that I was satisfied. Even under new management

Came here on the 6th of Feb. The service is always great. Ordered a seafood platter for two and unfortunately I was quite disappointed. Platter was drenched in oil and the prawns had a strange and an unpleasant smell and taste. I couldn’t even eat them.

Awful experience. Staff tried their best, but the food was awful and under proportioned. NEVER going back there, ever . Shame on you Dros, in a world of competition right on your doorstep, you failed, again and again. Not my first disappointment with Dros Centurion, but never again.

Drinks were great vibe was good and the Sirlion steak and egg was really good. Enjoyed it once again.

Had the steak eggs and chips special. Nothing to write home about. Steak was tough and chips horrible. Eggs were nice!

Friendly staff, fast service, okay food.The atmosphere in the morning is nice, relaxed, and quiet. Evenings are definitely busier and the music plays a bit loud.I find the wait staff is very eager to clear your table. A nice Dros setup.

Poor service, too many errors in the orders. I ordered crispy eisbein, as described on the menu. It was chewy. No sauerkraut. This place used to have an incredible vibe, but not any more.

Its a loverly chilled place, especially the seating area outside. But I must say there should try getting more variety of alcohol. Especially those that are common and trading to accommodate people.

The low intelligence of the people hooting uninterrupted made it impossible for us to stay and eat. I will rather go somewhere else. Otherwise Dros is always great.

Had the calamari special . It was oily. This Dros need some maintenance. Simple things like a soap dispenser needs to be fixed. Its also too dark inside.

Three and a half stars, the food specials are great on certain days, especially for a student on a budget. But there are some short comings, like the portion sizes that differ dramatically not just from each visit, but from plate to plate on one table ordering the same dish. The televisions inside are of hideous quality but the feel of the place is comfortable, and the music that they play is tolerable. Come for the company,great food (portions may differ), not for the rugby

The food was good and the waiter was very well mannered. Outside underneath the tree was a bit noisy, we moved to the inside later which was cosy. Although there were people looking at the soccer, getting excited, it didnt bother us as they were closed off.

Nice place for lunch and some relaxation after work. It is in a small shopping center. The joint has a little kids zone and a Castle Corner under a tree which gives you a different environment.

The place has really gone downhill. Dirty sticky tables, dirty cutlery chipped glasses and food that is dull and dreary. Thank goodness the waiter was well trained and energetic.

A real disappointment compared with Dros Waterkloof which is our regular choice. We tried this venue due to invited guests living closer to it. Service was poor, co.muj8cation was nonexistent and a service fee was automatically levied as the bill was more than R1000. Service fee for what? There was no service. DEFINITELY NOT going back here. I would recommend a stay away from here.

Wow. What a bad experience... I should have known something was off from the moment I walked into this restaurant, as it was pretty much empty.The orange juice didnt taste like orange juice, the crumbed mushrooms tasted like dry burned breadcrumbs and my SOs rump had the most sinew/fat I have ever seen.Top that off with a weird waitress making off comments and card machines that barely worked.I dont think Ill ever go back here, but if I do I certainly wont order anything.

Good food but service was slow considering there were only 3 tables with patrons.

I have found that the waiters have a dont care attitude. You walk in and there is just no service. Took 5 minutes to order a coffee and then another 10 minutes before coffee was served (black filter, entirely different story if I asked for a specialty coffee) and then it was served in a dirty mug that smelt like egg. Decided not to have breakfast as no one in 2019 has this amount of time to waste or want to spend money at an institution that doesnt care for service delivery.
