I have brought 2 laptops from them, and they done an amazing job ensuring that I get the exact laptop specification that I needed for graphic design or photography related works. Their delivery of the products is also very fast and reliable. They also are amazing when it come to the laptop warranty, because they are so fast and efficient on sorting out any issue on the laptop, and they also ensure great communication and delivery of your laptop. Extremely happy with their services. They are very quick to respond which I appreciate. They are a tiny bit pricey but definitely worth the money.

This is by far the worst company I have EVER dealt with. After spending R42k on a custom built pc we have only been met with issue after issue. We got this PC a week ago and now this is the second time we have to bring it in to get fixed. Their technician Andries had the balls to say its my fault that he couldnt do extensive testing as I said it was urgent!! They had it for 2 days and thats after Anton told me only 1 business day because we get priority. I dont mind waiting but then do your job, now I have to go back a second time to get a brand new pc fixed!! The list goes on!!Items missing from our boxes, VDG cable, a power supply cable, the extra cooling fan and all the stickers. When I got the pc back after the first fix ( which was yesterday) there were scratches on the glass and chips the computer box.

I must admit when first query to make a purchase the service was great as well as the swift delivery. In the end I would rather have preferred not getting a timeous delivery or receiving a response.Purchase a gaming laptop from these guys and near a month later some features stop working. Since then Ive reached out but was basically given the middle finger as to after sales service. If you thinking of buying from them then maybe re-evaluate whats really important, the fake smile or the actual handshake. So sorry I opted to purchase from them.

I did a fair amount of research before settling on the Cougar armor Gaming Chair and then decided to buy from Evetech as they were about R1 000 cheaper than another online shop. Great decision - Evetech fulfilled every undertaking. As to the chair - everything I expected: comfortable and every part works as it should. Easy to assemble as well.

Its 2021 and the website looks like its made in 2011 and its not mobile friendly!Second complaintThey are very slow even from previous products that I purchasedI ordered two networking products a week and a half ago (22 August 2021) . I had to follow up on Monday (30 August 2021). I asked whats going on, why is my order not being processed? Answer was they dont have stock. I setup my build online, spoke to a sales consultant to get a better understanding of how everything would work. Place my order and waited for a week, it took a few days longer to get to my house, because of all the public holidays.Everything was perfect they were set up and the build was very well put together. Evetech refused to back the warranty on a Steelseries headset which was still under warranty, and even threatened me by saying they have the authority to cancel my warranty all together. Since then, we have bought two processors, two 3090 cards, Ram, Boards, cases, etc. etc. all in excess of R125 000 from someone else. All because Evetech wont back their products warranties. I now use them as a mall to find what I like and then buy from someone else. Wootware and GTR Computers are MUCH better when it comes to pricing and after sales service. Evetech, your customer service guys know how to lose business.

Edited*Evetech made me really angry when I enquired about the delivery time. I feel like the customer service guys need to be spoken to by management. They led me to believe I could wait up to 14 business days for my PC (which, when you include weekends is over half a month.)Luckily I didnt wait that long but I still feel 10 days is a bit much.However, the PC arrived and was well packaged and everything was put together nicely. All the original packaging for each component nicely packed.Everything works as expected and overall I am happy with the PC.

I was off to a rather rough start with my first order at Evetech having to send my new laptop back as it had a manufacturing problem. I loved the device.These things happen. One thing was their phone were always busy, very understandable. Their emailing system is preferred and great with responses.Khalid from the support team helped guide me to find a better laptop but with a slight price difference. Even though the price difference was a bit much it was a better deal then the first oneI am happy to say that within three days of my laptop being shipped back I have a new laptop being shipped back to me. Its quite funny as my first ever laptop also had the exact manufacturing problem. It was nice that after all the saga it was sorted.Thank you for your patience with me and spending your time to guide me through getting the laptop that would fit my needs Khalid. It was a bit of a long process but happy to say I have a new laptop coming in :)One thing to always remember is yes these things can happen, but at the end the support team is trying their best to accommodate your needs. The online shop is great but the process for collection is horrible.

If a no star was possible i would give it that. We tried to do a warranty claim but in the end we had to go out of our way to track down the manufacturers and beg them to help. Thankfully the manufactures helped us out in the end. Evetech was no help to us what so ever and consider the insane high cost of the components we expected much more. But sadly they simply refuse to help. i have no confidence in Evetech and if you are considering to buy from them make sure you understand the warranty process and get it in writing. Be very careful.

Eveytech have never steered me wrong and has always had the product I was looking for. Even if they didnt they always had staff on call to offer an alternative. Or usually a better take.

I heard a lot about how good Evetech was but with my first purchase it will most certainly be my last, I was first told 3-5 days delivery. After contacting Evetech after a week had gone by a asked what the problem was and was told I have to wait another 3-5 days. If youre ever going to purchase from them, dont expect what they say because this is rubbish, making you wait at your house for delivery that is promised on a certain day.

Order and payment before 8 am on Friday and still no delivery on Friday. You charge extra for delivery on an item over R5 000 and seem to take 5 working days to deliver. Love the website but when i got my pc I had to take the motherboard out and reinstall it. My internet cable wouldnt fit through the openings because the motherboard was not lining up with the the openings of the case. Feel really disappointed that this is what i got after waiting very eagerly for two weeks.

Very bad customer service from Evetech. I ordered a bundle and got incompatible motherboard. They said they will send a new one but I must return the first one before they do. I stated that I cannot sit without a motherboard as I am working from home everyday. They still refuse to make this process easier for me even though THE MISTAKE WAS ON EVETECHS SIDE AND NOT MINE!!! They should have sent the correct motherboard the first time honestly....

Evetech definitely offers some of the most competitive pricing for most PC related things. I have ordered multiple peripherals and PC parts, as well as built an entire PC using them.Generally speaking, the service is good. There are the occasional hiccups, but they have all been resolved pretty swiftly after getting in contact with management.All in all, I would recommend evetech. I would appreciate it if they would stock more niche items though. They dont sell any Artisan products, and they only have the razer orochi in black which is a huge disappointment.

There was a problem with the warranty of my laptop, I bought 2 years worth but on the dell service center it showed as 1 year(witch already ended). I contacted there support they said they will fix it within 5-7 working days. 10 working days pass, I contact them they said sorry but we are still waiting. Now its been just under a month of waiting ad still no reply and I still have no warranty on my laptop.EDIT: They have fixed the issue :), but overall you should buy from evetech, they have large and varied stock, decent priced and a really good support staff, not a 5 star as for the warranty but overall they are good and on my opinion the leading computer shop in south africa.EDIT2: They purchased me an extra year of warranty for the inconvence, they now deserve the 5 stars

Ordered on Sunday, payment was confirmed as received on Monday, my router was collected from them on Tuesday, and I received it on the Thursday morning (with the Wednesday being a public holiday.The sales rep appeared to be named Jay on the invoice, and honestly great job on their part. Competitive prices. poor customer service. Ordered a headset for my son 6 days ago. I live less than 5 km from your store in centurion. Still waiting for delivery. This is not the 1st time. a Week and a half before X-mas I also bought something on their website and only received it in Jan. Try explaining a late Xmas gift to a child on Xmas considering that I ordered those components and waited for more than 2 weeks for delivery. How come it takes Evetech 4 to 5 days to hand the item over to the courier? This is a seriously bad customer experience.

Beware of Evetech offering 3 year Fetch and Repair Lenovo warranties, this is not the case as I have been informed. Expect to be without a machine for a minimum of 3 weeks possibly more. Promises of calls, follow ups are covered up with lies and cannot even return calls as promised. Disgusting after sales service, zero feedback. I would suggest another re-seller if you are in the market for anything IT related.

I am based in Cape Town and was referred by a friend. At first was nervous after reading negative reviews on Google and Facebook. Two weeks later and I have received my custom built PC! Really difficult finding AM4 retention brackets once youve lost them.... Luckily Micheal quickly helped me out and provided me with a full set of brackets, and I could install my new cooler for my PC. Really great service!

Very slow service. I was told they would assist me within 15-30 minutes. After an hour snd a half we were told to rather come back the next day.They either want you to pay with cash or EFT. they charge you about R1500 more if you want to pay with your card.

As much as Id like to give Evetech a much better review, I simply cannot. You guys NEVER have stock of ANYTHING. Its not comforting to see so many out of stock banners permanently on your website, even pre-COVID-19

I recommended Evetech to a friend because of their cheaper prices. She has just had issues with the laptop from the start and very little help from Evetech in terms of customer service. After they took her laptop in for a fix, the Microsoft Office license is now suddenly expired and Evetech now claims that they cannot help her with this. This laptop is still brand new, but no Microsoft license??? It wasnt the cheapest laptop either.

In April 2021 I bought a Corsair K60 RGB PRO keyboard from Evetech. It has a 2 year warranty.At the end of last month it started giving problems and i returned it to Evetech for RMA. They arranged the collection and covered the cost. They found fault but could not replace it as they do not have stock. I then requested a refund as they did not have anything in stock that i wanted as a replacement. I expected a fight but Evetech immediately agreed to give me a full refund. They processed it and i received my refund on the date promised. No issues and i actually feel bad for expecting them to put up a fight.Excellent customer service. Thank you Christo for your quick response and great service. Will do business again with Evetech.4 star as my order did take a bit long to be delivered in April. But it is no train smash.

Overpriced and unfriendly customer policies, beware of trusting them with your money. They resist refunding in anything other than store credit if a return is necessary, claiming their policy entitles them to deny you cash refunds. You pay unreasonable handling fees (a high percentage of the order value rather than a flat fee - does that make any sense to you?) when they send an incorrect/broken item and customer service will try to convince you that said fees are legal. According to the CPA of 2008, South African consumer law protects us from these exploitative fees and I have found that when they are challenged on these policies, the fees are waived. I do not like the idea that Evetech is in my opinion taking advantage of clients who are unaware of their rights as consumers.Deliveries are usually without delay, and items are usually functional, but for this inferior service, they charge a premium. For these reasons I have awarded two stars, but besides that I have nothing positive to say about my experience with them.

Always knowledgeable and helpful service. We ordered a pc online and they had amazing covid guidelines in place when we went to collect. We got to the gate, gave our order number, waited not long in the fresh air, and had our pc brought to us and loaded into the car. The man helping us went through everything in our order and went above and beyond with his explanations. Oh and even though the order was supposed to take 2 weeks, we got it extra fast in about 3 days after placing the order.

Very disappointing first experience. I went to the store, had to stand in the sun, could not get much advice. There was no first come first served. Whoever shouted the loudest got served first. I then had to pay more for the experience, because I could not do an EFT, even though I had a debit card which would not mean more to them in bank charges. I dont think that I will buy here again

We purchased a laptop from Evetech and upgraded the ram. After 6 months the ram upgrade failed and we retuned the machine only to find out that they do not use Dell genuine parts. To make matters worse they wiped all the data from the machine. All we got was we are sorry. Will never deal with them again and infact would discourage purchasing equipmnet from them. Very unhappy!!!!!

Very limited stock. Unwilling or unable to source components that are not listed on the site. Confusing and error ridden delivery/collection/lead time schedules. With so many other online retailers in this space its a wonder they are still in business.

I was surprised when I had to collect my laptop from outside the gate and do an EFT on my phone. However, the gentlemen who helped me were knowledgeable, polite and helpful. I was told they dont have a reception and showroom any more and are moving.

The worst customer experience I have had with a company!I bought a laptop on their site with the expectation for it to be delivered a week after I purchased it. 2 weeks go by and the laptop still hasnt arrived.I received an email after 2 weeks of waiting, that they unfortunately no longer have the Laptop available. I have to choose a different one, with the options they send me being a lot crappier than the one I ordered. Why have it on your site then?I called in to just ask what happened, instead of getting an apology and helpful person on the call. I get someone who just ignores the problem and doesnt wish to assist me. He cant give me any explanation to why this went wrong. He just requested that I respond to the email.I requested that they reimburse me, and they havent even contacted me. I dont know what kind of business they are running but they arent in it for their customers.They will never get business from our Company again, and I would urge you to do the same, rather help a company that looks after their customers.

Ordered a product online which is in stock...I literally stay 10minutes away. It takes them 4 days to deliver?! How is something like this possible?! It takes 5 days for Amazon to make a delivery from some obscure place located on the far corners of earth. I offered to come and pick the product up...but to no prevail. Not cool.

Really disappointed.Bought a cougar chair on special and got it in no time. Saw the box was opened before and paid no attention to it. The chair was missing 3 items and the frame was damaged! I requested RMA, they picked it up, inspected it, and told me that there are no chairs left to replace it and my only option is to get store credit, but my chair was on special and there arent any chairs that I personally want at that price point. Michael was nice enough to keep me in the loop but the business model in terms of RMA is so shoddy, how can you not have RMA stock for replacements?You lost me as a customer.

Be very aware these people sell intel products which Intel International does not acknowledge the guarantee on.Or does not want to export legally to them for replacement.

They have good prices and a nice website, they just really need to work on their customer communication. I am very happy with my received products however they were very slow with sending me information on invoices, order processing and booking for shipping. It took about 4 business days to receive an updated invoice - and I had to ask for the updated invoice even after they said that they would send it. It took another few days to receive information on shipping and overall it was just frustrating.
