Clean store with excellent service and good prices.

I buy the absolute minimum at Checkers because their horrible advertising on tv.

I am editting my review belowthat was 5 stars. The last 2 weeks doing my weekly shopping, I leave disappointed at the service, the pharmacy counter was the worst,4 staff all trying to run away and not assist me,why even have this section??Every time I get to the till,the price on the cheese is double then what it is on the display, or there is no price on the item.Not sure if there is new management, but I dont think this Checkers will see me againI am generally not a fan of Checkers, except this one!!, they have products and deals the others dont,and its clean and pleasant to shop in. Meat is good, amazing breads! and good selection of cheeses. From the security at the entrance to the cashiers, bakery staff, every one, I always receive great service.

Checkers Midstream is a nice place to pop in and out for a quick buy. It is a clean and neat store. I found that there was not as much staff as I expteced the last time and getting someone to assist took a while. Free parking outside.

Best selection of cheeses and wines..affordable portions of ribs, ostrich and venison. Awesome staff..

The bakery used to be the best. Now it just sucks. Bread rolls are disgusting and staff very unfriendly and unhelpfull

This is the shop that I will do most of my shopping here it is never crowded

Dont waste your time here. The employees really does not want to help. This is not the first or second time Ive experienced this issue at grey owl checkers. Each time i go back i try to give them the benefit of the doubt but i can only go so far in chances.

Nice place to shop. And bonus.... during Covid, they wash their trolleys EVERY DAY.!!! Makes uou feel save.

Checkers employee stole a whole bag of groceries from me today! As I was paying for my groceries I didnt notice that one of the bags full of groceries went missing and only after arriving home and unpacking everything did I figure out that some of my groceries are nowhere to be found. I loaded everything from the trolley into my car on my own so the only place it could have gone missing was at the till. This is the last time I will be visiting this Checkers

Poor service is growing day by day.

Online trading hours stipulate that the store closes at 8 pm. Can that be updated please, its a Thursday at 7:21pm & the store isnt open 🤷

No complaints, other than my wife saying that they often dont have chicken breasts in stock and dont sell smoked chicken breasts. Its always been clean. Queues havent been too long, but there are always tills that arent open. Quality of fruits are always great, excluding apples that we often need to take back. The few times weve asked staff for help, they went to great lengths to help.

Staff is always friendly and keen to help. Such amazing service.

Great variety in the prepared food section. Good fresh produce. Nice and clean. Staff can be a bit friendlier.

My favourite place to do my grocery shop. The shelves are always well stocked and the store is well maintained and clean. Stuff is helpful and polite.

The Checkers is OK, fresh fruit and veg selection limited but always fresh. KFC leaves something to be desired, bad service and bit of a crime spot. Woolworths is nice, bit small. Antonios makes the most divine Italian food. All in all not a bad little centre

Only 1 member per family allowed in the store suddenly. Why would that be?

No issues, good service at the pharmacy. Check out of purchase was also quick and the store was clean.

Generallt good service here and their tske-away food is clean and tasty.

Typical, shopped here, the cashier made a mistake with the card transaction, got charged R 259.80 and was supposed to be refunded, still no money paid back to me and 10 days have passed. Typical, bad service in store and now they are stealing also.
