When bringing back the trailer the owner walked straight to the trailer and started pointing at a few small marks on the paint above the tire (we did drive gravel road). He took R1800 out of our deposit for almost nothing. I would suggest trying any other trailer hire company. I believe he looks for reasons to keep the deposit. In his defense, it was a very strong and functional trailer.

Awful experience with this company. Service was dreadful. I called in a week earlier and was told by the owner/manager that there was no need to pre-book a trailer because there were always trailers available) - and when I arrived, there was no suitable trailer available. I had driven 200km to collect a trailer, so you can imagine my frustration. I was offered something much smaller and then quoted a double rate (because of the distance), after being told over the phone a week earlier by the same person (who I presume is the owner) that there was one price and that the minimum hire period was three days - which I was happy with. I was quite thrown by his arrogance and said Id rather go and see if somebody else could help me. Upon leaving, I was reminded that they were the market leader.I went up the road to Trailer World Rentals who assisted me immediately, with a smile and absolute professionalism. What a pleasant experience compared to the one Id just had.

I would not recommend this company for use. The owner is not honourable and kept 50% of our deposit for alleged damages without any proof of the condition before hand. He has no integrity and it is like dealing with a backyard trailer company. If you want a professional service steer clear of this one.

I tried out a few places in Edgemead and Milnerton before coming here. All the places had crazy proof of address and physical cash only policies.In addition to a simple hiring process, Table View Trailer Hire also offered the lowest prices.

Good quality trailers in good condition. Reasonable prices. He has many, many types of trailers available, including flat bead and closed units.Some uses that tends to lead to overloading and damage are not allowed, like building rubble, sand, etc.

Absolutely rip off to the customer and you hire a trailer for 2 days but you only use it for 3 hours on the first day and bring it back 1 day before and they won’t refund you the 1days rental they say sorry you loose the money tuff luck there are way better Trailer hires in table view will never go back to this rip off a placeI can’t reply on your post so I’m replying here don’t lie that you had it booked out you told me this morning that this trailer is the only trailer that is not booked out for 2 days so please don’t come lie here thanks.

Different sizes to choose from. The trailers are in very good condition and the owner sees to business himself. Book a trailer for weekends!

I am hugely disappointed in this business. Alex gave us a broken trailer with no working brake lights and indicator lights. He attached the trailer to our car himself and told us all is working fine. On way to our destination we got a R1500 traffic fine for apparently not stopping at a stop street. In hindsight we now know it was due to broken brake lights on the trailer. After our weekend away, when we hooked up the trailer to start our trip home, we saw the broken wiring - as in pic. I immediately called him to ask what we should do as we couldnt drive home with a broken brake lights. He was not interested and said there was nothing he could do. My partner had to repair the trailer himself before our trip. Alex called me a liar when I reported the damaged wiring. He claims we caused the damage . He was very rude when my partner dropped off the trailer. When my partner asked him to test the trailer lights in his presence as proof that he repaired it, Alex refused. Alex denied hooking up the trailer to our car. When my partner asked to see the camera footage which will prove he in fact did it, Alex refused and blamed Eskom for faulty cameras. Now he is refusing to pay back our R600 refundable deposit. We have not heard from him since Tuesday. This is disgusting, unethical business practice. He is an obnoxious, opportunist. Be warned, do not use this business. He will rip you off. I am very angry, this disaster ruined our holiday experience.Update : Since posting this review Alex has threatened me and tried to intimidate me. Suggesting I refrain from posting defamatory things about him - or else I will face legal action. He told me he was taken to court many times, as this is NOT the first time - and he says he has won every case. I am still awaiting justification for withholding my deposit. Still received nothing.

Disrespectful man, very rude

Hired a trailer to remove a tree we had cut down. Answered the phone first time I called, gave an accurate quote and we picked up the trailer immediately. Was quite affordable and easy to access with a bakkie.

If it was possible to rate a zero star I would have done so.This is one of the most disgusting trailer hire company.I was told that I am not able to rent a trailer based of the fact that I look like a Nigerian man though I had an ID showing that I am not Nigerian. Still i wasnt allowed to get access to the trailer.From what I understood is, this trailer hire is only non African people and I will neve recommend this company to anyone.
