This is a very beautiful wine estate with great wines and service. We had the vodka and premium wine tasting, both hit the right spots.Giamme our host was amazing, super knowledgeable, effortlessly friendly and professional. We were well taken care of.Top class wines by a country mile, its impossible to not be impressed here. The landscaping is impressive.Only downer was having to pay for parking, was a first in the Winelands.

I enjoyed some of their wines. We did the blind tasting which was good fun. Shows how much I know about cultivars vs flavours. Got all the flavours right but none of the cultivars.Guess all 4 wines right, don’t you pay for the tasting.Sadly … they charge for parking now.Something feels wrong bout having to pay for parking at a wine farm. For that reason, I docked a star.

Great tasting experience. Unique indoor tasting room seating with a view of the steel tanks. Knowledgeable tasting advisor who guided us through the experience.Lovely scenery and setting. Lots to do in the estate - a lifestyle shop to browse through, a yoga studio and spa, and a restaurant to enjoy lunch. Well worth spending a day here.Highly recommend.

I went to the Twilight Market at the Lourensford Wine Estate and it was very nice. They put a lot of effort in the decorations. Everything was full of lights and it looked very beautiful. There was music playing and nice food available even the small shop were very special. Even the Wine Estate in general is worth it to visit. They have a small garage were they park awesome old timers.

We as a family love visiting Lourensford Wine Estate(good food, good beer and great coffee). So much so that we bought the annual pass but is saddens me to say out of all the wine estates we visit your bathrooms are an absolute disgrace, during our past few visits it smelled, filth and toilet paper was on the floor in both mens stalls. My wife even tried a different bathroom near ABRU and it was the same scenario. Can you please look into tidying the bathrooms!

Worst wine tasting experience I had at Lourensford so far. Boring selection of tastings available and poor service. Restaurant service was good but the gourmet burger patty was so underdone, a vet could have saved it. The fact that you have to pay for parking at a wine estate is alarming and you should know that it is a tourist trap. Theyre following the same route as Vergelegen and wont see me again.

One of the best experiences I have had in years with my family. I have lived in Cape Town for 4 years and this is the first time I took my family out here! The atmosphere is great, the food is good, they even roast their own coffee there, which is just as exceptional as the wine. All of this brings back a sense of normalcy in these really difficult times. I just wish I knew about obout is before.Thank you!

This is the first time I have ever posted a review. I felt compelled to leave a review after the service we received was the worst I have ever experienced. The service was extremely poor and slow. The restaurant was untidy and dirty. The food was average and Items where added to the bill that we didn’t have. Management didn’t assist and it was visible that a number of tables where complaining.

Very disappointing wine tasting experience. Came for chocolate and wine pairing, and the waitron didnt provide an explanation of the different wine types, which something youd expect as mandatory at any wine tasting venue. Hes excuse was that he is new and still needs to learn - thats not my concern as a visitor, thats what training is for.. The chocolate wasnt anything special either.. It was literally the same chocolate for all wines with the sprinkled flavour on the top...lThe only thing thats positive to say is that the beautiful location makes up for it. Picture of chocolate attached.

From when you enter, at security to the little shop where you can make your own platter the two restaurants as well as the actual winery, everyone is so wonderful and friendly! Delicious Viognier and cheese platters. Hint: make your own platter from the shop, it is cheaper than ordering one from the restaurant. If you want a proper meal, choose from one of the two restaurants - loads of options, something for everyone. Bring a picnic blanket and sit on the grass outside with a glass of wine and some snacks, such a perfect location for a chilled afternoon with friends.

Very easy to spend a lot of time there. The Roasting Company serves excellent coffee and the gardens offer a lot of different things to do , especially for small children. They can play in the fountain and on the lawns. There is also a nice play area behind the Millhouse Restaurant with 3 jungle gyms and a jumping castle.Just be aware that Millhouse takes their last breakfast order at 10:30 am.Entrance to the estate is free at the moment, but they are busy setting up ticketed booms.

Millhouse Restaurant, What a wasted space of potential. Service Managed like a fastfood joint!A restaurant in a pristine location surrounded by mountains and vineyards.Everything to be a household name in Somerset West. The food is of good quality the venue is set picturesque yet the service gives off a stench and bad aftertaste. In my experience here I ordered an appetizer and the party I was with ordered the same meal as it came to the table the servings were oddly sized and disproportionately unevenly plated. As it was I had mentioned this to the server only be responded by an act of laughter. We checked our portions and as it was mine was indefinitely less. When the bill came I made the remark and was not met with an apology duly with a Mcdonalds response of we weigh our portions. In service, it is important to listen to your clients, apologize and tell them that next time it will be fixed or even just make them happy in the moment. As it turns out I have been in the service industry and run a business that brings people to locations as such and will now recommend people elsewhere.
