The black bean noodles is an absolute must. It stills taste as good as the first time I tried it many years ago. Service at the branch was good; unfortunately the fridges were not working and we had to get drinks from another store.

Have been happily supporting Thai Cafe once a week for several years but have been very disappointed on the last 3 occasions. By 5h30 or 7h00 pm on each occasion they have run out of all pork and duck so one is obliged to either move on or select a random alternative - red beef curry which was a very watery, thin sauce with a spartan portion of chewy, stringy beef and vegetables. 3 strikes and out Im afraid. Pity. They never used to run out of ingredients and portions used to be very generous and tasty.

It takes a lot for me to write a complaint, so please take this seriously.I order from your branch at least three times per month and have been doing so for the past five years. Most often its the Basil Crispy Pork, Medium. This evening my order was half the size (yes I did notice youve cut back on the portions) the Medium strength was Mild and the pork was anything but Crispy.If this is your new standard then let know and Ill move on to some other takeaway, if not then please speak to your kitchen and Ill give it one more try. If I get an order like I got again Ill be gone.Please get back to the standard you used to have.

I ordered a take away but received the incorrect order. The restaurant remade the order and had it delivered to my door within 10 minutes. The manager then called after the correct order was delivered to find out if all was in order. Best client service I have had in ages! Highly recommend this restaurant.

I love this place, mostly because its so delicious and close to work. Some of their dishes are pricier than seems reasonable, but everything is really good. The service is also really friendly!

I have been a customer for many many years and often order the Chefs special. I have just eaten the worst one ever, dry, no egg I could see or taste, very few vegetables and the flavour was just just a bit of chilly and a bit of sweet, so non Thai. The prices have gone up and the quality has gone down. There just isnt any quality control. The flavouring has become so variable. I used to dream about the Red Curry, but stopped eating it awhile ago because the flavour and consistency changed, now the Chefs Special. What a pity.

Always go for the black bean noodles. Its amazing, whether take away or sit in. I always want to bring people who visit CT here.

A firm favourite of mine, making some of the best phad thai in Cape Town. The staff are always pleasant and helpful and the service and food prep is very quick.

I discovered Thai Cafe when it first opened in Hout Bay and was blown away by the quality and taste. I would then discover their hospitality and ability to remember my order (to be fair I was a regular due to said quality). When I moved from Hout Bay to Claremont I was saddened until I discovered this branch. Just as spectacular. Just as accommodating. Just great.

What a surprisingly good little find in the Palmyra Junction centre. We were on our way to one of the other eateries and on finding that a bit cold decided to take a closer look and glad we did. I had the chefs special of the day which was superb and my husband had the thai green chicken curry which was also tops! Large portions and good value for money. The only thing I found rather strange was when I asked our waitress if there was wifi and she said she would get it for me. What seemed like the owner/ managereress came over and when I asked for the code she asked for my phone to put it in ... awkward ...
