Hi when will the pools re open

For just R25 you can stay and swim for as long as you like! The pool is usually quite clean but the changing rooms a bit on the dirty side. Its ideally located for university students and those who work in the area, but theyre currently closed and undergoing renovations until this summer. If you go outside of the busiest hours (so early in the morning, lunch time or late in the afternoon) and avoid school holidays, its a real treat!

I collect water here. Well run and managed , helpfull workers for a fair fee. Good community building and free water. Grateful

I wish they would advertise better that theg are closed for reservations

Waited outside for 3 hours based on capacity reach because lifeguards decided to not come to work. Not my problem. Doors re opened at 1400 and I was told to pay full price.Im sorry. Thats kak

Water restrictions has cut the water in all the pools but u can still enjoy

The pool has been closed for a few years due to the drought. Certain pools were used as back up water for other pools. Go onto Cape Town City/pools to find a pool open closest to your area.

Nice place big swimming pool and they train people from young ones and elderly people

This place has seriously deteriated aver the last decade. The state it is in now is not just a result of water shortages.

Tried phoning their land line number. It is taken off the hook when they arrive at work and then put on when they leave. It only rings out of office hours. Great help.

The first time we came, you were closed for no reasonThe second time time we phoned the number doesnt existsThen third time, we checked the internet and it says you open but then you not!What is up with all this?This is very unprofessional, especially from newlands pools standards.We are extremely disappointed

Dont go for the pooll cause its close but go fetch water by the spring next to there.

This pool has been closed for three years.

Made plans to take the kids out to the pools for the day. It show open on the website, but when we got here its close for the season 2018 2019. Really spoiled our day.

Dirty pool. Change rooms are old and dirty as well.

It is no longer operational due to water shortage in Western Cape.There is no indication when the Swimming pool will be in use again.

Should inform people that it’s close on Sunday’s don’t just leave it on
