Ive been going to Tashas for a number of years and their food and service never disappoints. I also now have the option of a vegan waffle with vegan ice cream. This made my year as I havent had a waffle in more than a decade! The butternut salad is always a win

Ive been to a few Tashas around the country, this is one of the best for sure. The servers where extremely friendly and the good was excellent.

Food is delicious but the service was very slow.This Tashas branch is very popular so it is always busy; expect to wait for a table when you arrive. We had an assortment of dishes and everyone enjoyed it, but we did wait too long for our food. People who arrived after us got their food before us.

Nice little cozy coffee house. Has a good variety on their menu. Service is friendly and quick. A nice place to relax in the evening in a nice atmosphere.The Apple crumble with caramelised apples, biscuit waffle was a delight.Cape Town has so many nice little coffee shops and this one is certainly a place to recommend.

Had a really lousy experience at Tashas earlier today. I ordered a schnitzel sarmie and was very disappointing. The schnitzel was not crispy at all, and most disappointingly the ciabatta was rubbery and old which gave such a horrible experience.Ive been here before and they tend to be good but today was horrible. Ciabatta is not supposed to be rubbery and tough and shnitzels are supposed to be crispy.Shout out to Blessing for the great service though, also the the flavour was good.

The food never disappoints at Tashas! One of my favourite places to go for brunch. The service is always friendly and prompt. I would recommend to anyone looking for a casual dining experience with a lovely atmosphere and amazing food!

Visited tashas for first time today for breakfast. We were welcomed by friendly staff. The fresh orange juice was amazing and food delish. The cherry on top was the hazelnut late......to die for. We had bit of a wait, but it was worth it

When I tell you that you will honestly fall in love with the most incredible staff I absolutely mean it. Best restaurant team Ive ever come across. They are so loving and happy. Besides the fact that Ive never had a bad dish there in my life, I go just because the space makes me feel really great about myself. This restaurant really has a special place in my heart and they have actually helped me through some of the hardest times in my life. ❤️❤️

Its hard to disagree with many of the good reviews below. The staff service here is indeed excellent. We just wanted to share an order of one waffle with one scoop of ice cream. The staff thoughtfully took the trouble to served us each with a plate equally divided the waffle & ice cream. We also saw a guest who bought a large bouquet of flowers from woolies being provided with a bucket by the staff so they can enjoy their meals. Well done 👍🏻. We will be back soon but must remember to make a reservation, coz this place is packed.

Appalling service, we waited 7 minutes for a waiter, 2 waiters saw us and completely ignored us. When the waitress eventually came I asked why do we wait so long for service, she replies sorry, unfortunately I had to sanitize to top it off she did not introduce herself and only presented us with one menu and we were 3 adults (a clear indication that we were not welcome). I feel its disgusting to go to a place where you are willing to spend your hard earned cash and get service more pathetic than anything Ive ever seen. I would not recommend this place to anyone as I believe everyone should be treated with respect, especially if they are willing to support your business.

Tashas Constantia is the only place I feel safe enough to eat at. The staff are incredibly hygiene conscious, sanitizing their hands all the time and really sanitizing tables and chairs after customers have left. I am so impressed!! Customers temperatures are taken before entering and contact details collected, the tables are far spread out with all the doors open for maximum ventilation. The staff are very friendly, polite and efficient - well done Tashas! You are doing an amazing job!

Waffles was amazing yet the service in the place was very slow and the guys doesnt seem like they have received much training. We visited at night so the atmosphere was super romantic but the light was a little too dark as we couldnt read the menu too clearly. The waffle is a massive diabetes monster so I definitely recommend NOT eating before you go there or try share it with some one, and do not count your calories!

What a lovely first time experience. Had an early morning meeting and decided to stay for breakfast after. The spiced chai is heavenly. The salmon scramble was absolutely tasty. Staff are very friendly. I had 4 individual thank yous as I was leaving. Will definitely be back.

TASHAS is fresh & airy & comfortable. Attentive staff, two big breakfast brought under 15 minutes. Eggs Benedict too huge for my daughter . My salmon scrambled eggs also was quite a portion with silky scrambled eggs with sides of well toasted ciabatta including cottage cheese went down very well. My daughter loved the Rooibos Cappuccino.

Tashas is nothing short of fabulous - a soccer moms dream. Delicious coffee, friendly staff, their very own Waffle House and designer meals - sandwiches, salads, breakfasts, the list goes on and on. Each branch has a different theme and decor, but this one is particularly special.

Ordered two choc chip waffles today and they were not as tasty as before, also one was burnt slightly. Their ice cream variety also wasnt much today. Hopefully better luck next time

Pleasantly Surprised. I like to try new and different things from restaurants and the Emperors Breakfast , from the classic menu, didnt disappoint (The name got me🐒). The cauliflower was amazing and the black rice was a delightful first try. The meal was filling, fresh and tasty. The portion was just right leaving me perfectly satisfied. We sat outside on a beautiful sunny Saturday morning and the place was a buzz with people. On days like this you really need to show up early or be prepared to wait a little for tables to open.PS:For those not aware, each Tashas has 2 menus. The classic generic menu served at all locations and a speciality menu unique to the specific location.

I dont know how its possible to get a quick coffee and cake stop off after a day out in kirstenbosch wrong but this place managed to. Chilli oil spilled on out baby in the car seat how it started... Underwhelming coffee and overpriced cakes and terrible waffles were what followed. Do yourself a favour and head to the nearest Creamery Cafe or Bootlegger or find another coffee shop in the area.

I was so impressed with Tashas, Constantia. It was my first time dining out since the start of the lockdown and I felt very safe there. Our temperatures were taken on arrival, as well as our details, and instead of physical menus they had an online menu system. I felt very safe and had a wonderful red cappuccino!

In the heart of Constantia, Tashas reputation is well earned. Staff well trained, efficient. Food is always good. Havent had a bad experience, and will be back often.

We dont know about breakfast at Tiffanys but breakfast @tashascafe is great. Especially when you start the day with a red cappuccino and chai latte.A little Avo Toast to fuel a day ahead. Yes, sometimes it is better to relax, unwind before you head out.Bread pudding from @tashascafe is a real treat. Made with croissants, caramelised apples and topped with marscopone cheese or ice cream.Everything you need, with superb service to top it all.

I ate a delicious sort of ham and mustard sandwich and tea. It wasnt cheap but I read through an expensive international magazine that made it worth my while. And it was a pretty delicious sandwich. Sitting inside a mall is never going to be quiet, or classy, especially here where there arent even any walls to protect you from the noise of the centre at large, but if you face inwards and concentrate really hard on the art deco decor you can pretend youre fancy and youre having tea with Daisy and Jordan. Ive had more expensive things on the menu before but I dont remember them being worth it. I have friends who differ.
