The food was okay, personally I expected it to be better. Theres a bigger choice for starters but less for the main course. It was a big let down that you cant even get tap water, you have to buy bottled water. The waiters service was good. The coleslaw was too watery. I enjoyed the wings and the brownies.

Very large buffet restaurant with a wide variety of foods. This restaurant has private rooms available, which is really nice. There is a nice chapel as well for weddings. There is even a play park for the kids.

The food was good but the building needs a serious revamp. I emailed to ask for a romantic spot and was placed in a dark, dingy passage and the table was sticky. I was really disappointed and will definitely not return or recommend the place to anyone.

Best buffet in cape town hands down

Generously rating this place 3 stars.I visited for the first time in years, and man was I disappointed. Its definitely not what it used to be. The Buffet selection was poor. Most of the food that I tasted was sub-par. The only thing I enjoyed was the calamari.The staff in the serving area are something else. Due to covid you cant help yourself, but everytime I would have to wait at a serving station whilst they are chatting away with one another. Now and then I just helped myself, much to their annoyance. The waiter wasnt the sharpest bloke either.Im not even going to comment on the dessert selection.I have fond memories of this place, but I wont be returning here again.

This is where you go if you want to waste your money and spoil your mood, the food is terrible but their attitude is worse. I wasted R1600 at this place, they also have a kids play area where the gate is loose and it fell on my son, when we approached the owner a white lady she ignored us maybe we werent white enough....they need to realise that we are not living in colonial times....they should be ashamed of themselves, help me put this restaurant out of business they dont deserve to run a business in a free country

R180 per person. Standard of food needs to be raised higher if you want to charge this much. Staff are friendly and helpful. But the food does need a little more attention. Worth R120 in my opinion purely cause its a buffet else Id say lower.

We attended a much enjoyed self arranged Cowboy Theme 60th birthday party on a Friday evening for about 70 guests. The room was Upstairs with its own facilities. Service and buffet food provided by the venue was great as per the selected menu for the occasion.

Amazing service from Sonet the coordinator as she was very helpful as to planning my moms birthday supper. Was so awesome that I didnt even pay a venue fee in the month of August for the section 2 private venue space they have available for small events of 20-30 max people. the food is amazing and always refilling up of the food so that everyone enjoys all their lovely food.

Service is excellent. Will definitely recommend. And food is delicious.

Restaurant has good food with large variety. Pretty decent buffet accompanied by a daily theme. Prices might be considered a bit steep. They also offer a venue for special occasions. Our waitron was really friendly and helpful. They dont provide water so expect to be charged for bottled service. All round good buffet restaurant.

The reason I give 2 stars is that Im not impressed with their customer service. In April I booked tables for 30 people for a 70th birthday lunch, when we got their at 13h45, they didnt set up, then they found space upstairs, now tell me you book and say its for a 70th birthday what does your mind say it will be seniors right so how can about 20 seniors go upstairs, finally they get us place downstairs we all settled in then another group of people for a baby shower set up right on top of us with no masks making us move our seating. Not once did I see any manager on the floor check is every is alright. The waiters didnt always know whats going on, just standing around looking lost. I wont recommend the restaurant if you want to host a party for more than 10 people.

I have been to Scoongezicht many times and will continue to go there. The food is actually very good. This was my first visit after lockdown, and the only difference was that the variety diminished ever so slightly and the staff are now dishing for you. Dont worry, they are still generous if you ask nicely😁. Still a great venue to dine at👌

Place is nice,access was a bit challenging,as im a stroke patient aided by a walking appliance,so accessed with some difficulty. Maybe consider a special request menu,eg. No/less salt feature. But O/A,it was good

Décor simple, pleasant, clean. Practical? Depends on what room you have. The kitchen at one end and the serving area at the other end resulting in Thoroughfare through rooms, making it unpleasant for those in that room and those walking through it to dish. Strangers in your pics and in your private space.Food was tasty. Enjoyed some of the dishes.The play area is great and keeps the kids entertained.

The buffet has a wide variety of everything from Tacos,Enchiladas,Salads,Red meat,Chicken,Veges, Condiments,Pizza,Pasta,Cakes,Fruit salads nd Ice cream!

The staff especially the dishers seems like they dont want to be there. Not a single smile from them. The waiters did much better and even smiled. The food was acceptable.
