Lovely space for Coffee, great food and a great place to create memories, connect with friends, family and colleagues. The serving team is very attentive and accommodating for various requests for laptop power and or space to present to others for a work strategic session.The new deli is also super useful with such an array of Delicious product.

This place is amazing! Only had of their breakfast (eggs benedict) and would definitely go back for more. Customer service was great, the owner makes you feel right at home! 12/10 would recommend 👌

Absolutely lovely eatery and food-craft shop. Both outdoor and indoor seating, quaint laid-back decor and wonderful staff conspire to provide your eating environment. And the food...Well I am not a fan of the burger but I was advised by a regular to try their staple standard. And my goodness I was not disappointed. These make you realise just how bad chain-store burgers are. Scrumptiously wicked (yes I made that word up right now) food. The group also tucked into prawns tempura and mussels. No one left disappointed. Oh and the loo is tasteful and clean! Make a plan and go support good local family business.

Delicious food and great friendly service. My 8yr old loved the calamari, my soup was delicious and my moms prawn pasta was to die for. We will be back. Cake, scones and cappuccino were also delicious.

Great service, waiter/tresses are very cheerful and offer a sense of home. The music and environment is very relaxed and smells from the kitchen waft through the lounging area spreading a wonderful array of aromas. Only mild issue is a methodical flickering light, otherwise I would give a unblemished review.

Excellent breakfast in a spacious venue so distancing possible. However you must be prepared to wait for your meal as the 2 waitrons appear to be run off their feet.

My wife and myself were totally disregarded at door, in full view of a number of staff and owner. Granted the place looked full, but would have been good manners to acknowledge and say either way, we are full or wait so many minutes if you like.

Lime Tree Cafe is very consistent. I go there often and the food is always good. They always have different specials so the choice is not boring. You can sit inside or outside. The service is always friendly and good. They do a great breakfast and their burgers are a work of art.

Lime Tree is a lovely restaurant that caters for all pallets. Whether you like it spicy or without spice. There is something for everybody. During what is seemingly becoming a cold winter, Lime Tree is comfortably temperature regulated. They are able to cater for large groups without it imposing on your more intimate dininig experience. This is not a silver service kind of restaurant. Neither is it a franchise style restaurant either. Lime Tree in my opinion brings the more common delights to those with quality-tuned taste buds. The burger becomes a decadent, sumptuous masterpiece. A pizza turns into cheese stretching, favour filled excitement. Ice cream and chocolate sauce magically morphs into homemade vanilla ice cream, real fudge sauce, topped with cream and strawberries. Lime Tree is a little more on the pricey side, but in line with boutique style restaurants. They also have an intimate library with 2nd hand bioks selling for R5 - R25. Oh, and their cappuccinos are delicious. My reason for 4/5 is based solely on it being my first experience there. If this good combination of good service, quality food, and enjoyable ambience continue, I am sure to rate 5/5. Thank you Lime Tree for a lovely evening!

What a gem of a place. Great food, friendly and efficient service. My family and I had a wonderful mothers day breakfast. Despite being very busy the staff remained attentive and friendly. I would highly recommend Lime Tree to anyone!

Good old favorite in the back of Bergvliet. They have now split the deli into a separate section (where the pizza place used to be) and some yummy things to buy. Love the staff.

The food is divine. Its beautiful and cosy, and you have the option of sitting indoors or outdoors under shelter. Proper Covid protocols are implemented and adhered to. The staff are also very friendly and helpful. Fairly pricey but completely worth every penny

The staff is very friendly, the décor is very earthy and calming, the cakes are amazing and very reasonably priced. The only thing I wasnt fond of is the seafood pizza, why? because the mussels and prawns are served with its shell and all on the pizza so before eating I first needed to remove all the shells. The base was also thin so it was difficult to handle.

Hidden away at the end of a dusty road, this restaurant serves deliciously fresh and tasty food, plated by a seasoned chef. Make sure you go, at least twice.

This is such a lovely restaurant, hidden in the neighborhood. Every time I have visited, the food was exceptional, and great friendly staff.

I had breakfast here with two friends on a Saturday morning. Firstly the service we received was probably some of the best I have ever seen. The waiters were very friendly and helpful and the coffee and food was there almost immediately after we ordered. The breakfast was one for the books!! It is served with a very delicious (I assume its homemade) rye bread. I asked if they would tell me where I can buy that bread but they obviously didnt tell me. I will definitely go for breakfast here again.

So lemme start off with the service. My partner and I are not greeted by the waitress when she presents our menus, nor does she introduce herself. We had a few questions about the menu and was answered in a rather annoyed tone of voice. When my partner paid the bill the waitress had the audacity to say he must give 10% of the bill! He tipped her according to her poor service and she’s still expects more even worse she feels entitled to it. Not happy with the service at all.However the place is decadent and food delicious!

I love this place and their food, I just hate their chairs which are so uncomfortable and dig into your legs

What a lovely place that has so much to offer. Delicious breakfast or lunch. There is also a wonderful selection of cakes and delicious treats. Look out for Sunday lunch specials. You can either sit indoors or on the verandah outside. The bathroom facilities are unisex and very nicely done. The bathroom might be suitable for wheelchairs. Parking is free.

Just tried being seated outside knowing that I have my dog with me, usually no problem. Even though notifying the waiters that my wife and I intend on sitting outside and that wed like the shutters drawn... We waited, and waited... And waited... Not even an acknowledgement, being sent menus outside, making us feel accommodated with the light or heating... A great spot, but this time they missed the plot.

First visit to Lime Tree-service was good, pizzas arrived quickly and were tasty. Sad that the vegetarian burgers taste like meat but are not. Many folk do not eat meat for various reasons including not liking the taste of meat. I would never order it. Decor attractive and we enjoyed our evening there.
