Ordered a takeaway De Kelders pasta.The food was okay, albeit extremely oily (oil started separating from the food while it was still hot), there were probably a total of five steak strips that had clearly been left alone too long. A very thrown together meal but not inedible.Likely wont be ordering it again as I didnt expect the amount of oil to food ratio to be what it was. Takeaway cutlery would also be appreciated.The hostess at the door was very friendly when I arrived and ensured I was called when my food was done.Wait time was about 30 minutes, although I was informed it was 10 when I called. Not a train smash as I am nearby but could have been if I had to drive far out.Would also recommend having the call operator ask for all the relevant information before attempting to hang up and me having to prompt her to ask for my name and provide an eta on food.

One of the greatest experiences in somerset west. Delicious food accompanied with a special addition of a driving range for the golf lovers. But over all good music and staff that makes you feel like you are at home.

Great Food! Great view! Great Servers! Great Drink offers! My God their food is to die for. Definitely dont mind being a regular here. My only problem, the appetizers come out with our main course, dont know if its the way our server rings it in or what but I honestly dont like that. Other than that. The few times weve been here, its been excellent. Shadrack is always our server. Hes amazing!!!

Made a reservation to enjoy their pizza special on Wednesday and we had good service with suprizingly big and delicious pizzas. Would definitely recommend going there on Wednesdays. 40% off pizza

Some fried cockroaches with my burger and chips on Saturday. 2 Day before this I ordered a takeaway basket and the calamari was off. Somebody from the health department needs to jump in and do an inspection on De Kelders kitchen.

Burgers are amazing. Good atmosphere. They have good specials including their 40% off pizzas and pastas. This is the pizza. Toppings are a bit scarce but good value for money in size.

Saw a staff member (that wasnt a waiter) pick their nose and eat thier snot in the restaurant today. Great for a clients appetite.

This is our favourite place in Somerset West. Perfectly located across the road from where we live, very convenient.Managers, waiters and bar staff have become more than just people to us. We arrive and our drinks are basically already waiting for us 😁.Great drinks and food specials, daily. The pizzas, burgers and steaks are by far the best. Very Disappointed !We visited this place a few times when in town,but today was really disappointed, first 1 of the cuppacinos was cold then i ordered a bacon feta and avo salad and my husband nuchos after 42 minutes we where still waiting and in that time no one ask us if we would like anything else to drink or why the food is taking forever ,after i complaind the waiter came and said they burt my husbands nachos and is busy making new ones then my salad came and with no tomatoes. Not even sorry just okay i will get you some

Very nice. Big portions and very tasty. Good value for money. Open during this lockdown period you can sit down and eat there. You can also watch people hitting golf balls on the driving range from the restaurant.

If I could give zero stars I would. Wont recommend it to anyone. 1.5 hours for a single basket meal. Spend your money elsewhere.

After spending hours in Somerset West looking for a relaxed restaurant to spend the evening. We came across De Kelder.. Oh wow it was amazing. The food was divine..the service amazing ...our waiter was the best. def recommend it.

Some friends invited me along for a light meal and some drinks at what they called a very relaxed place. We ended up at the Golf Village. The beer was ice cold, the food, a very good, no sorry, a fantastic burger with great chips, the staff very friendly and helpful, the price very reasonable and all of that in a great atmosphere. Brilliant. Just one or two pointers. Our waiter did not inform us of the specials for the evening and the variety of beers was very limited. Please dont get me wrong. I am not complaining. We had a great time here, we will be back and I would recommend others to check it out. My motto is, life and restaurants is what you want to make of it. You want to complain you will, you want to compliment you will. Always see the bright side of life. 👌👌👌👌

From bad service to bad meal. Ordered a steak medium came out and chips cold okay but when the steak was still fridge temp not impressed. Called waiter and they served up another steak this time it was rare. Sent back again and chose not to order anything else. Management not interested. Waiter was all over place. Needs a good shake up wasting owners money and having upset guests not good for business.

We went here for a birthday. Made a booking about 2 hours or so before hand and they could fit us in. We sat near the stoep, which wasnt great because we were a family of non-smokers and there were smokers outside. The wind blew it all into the place and I got a nasty sinus infection from that. I should probably have specified that we dont want to be near smoke.. Anyways, the food was great. The medium sirloin I ordered was grilled to perfection and the ribs were heavenly. The salad was slightly disappointing as the tomatoes felt really squishy, as in not that fresh. The sodas here are really expensive. Other than that the food was great and theres a great atmosphere. The waiters were super friendly and we had a good time.

Great place, golf range for practice and eatery and pub - all in one. And spectacular views of mountains behind it. Ideal for eating or just enjoying the atmosphere.

Service was non excistant after we complined nothing improved. No ice with the wine had to ask several times. No utensils to eat with had to ask several times.

This was the worst pizza and nachos ever!! Whats happened to you guys??? The order took about 45min to come. Pizza x2 were cold. The nachos they tasted old. Really not a good experience. The restuarant was very empty on a Friday night end of the month!! Not a good sign. We had to pay for the pizza. I wont be back again!

The vibe is very comfortable. A nice place to have a social. Driving range just outside. The only two improvement to be made is the food and the price of beverages. Had 3 beers, a starter and pizza for R400 which is on the expensive side.

Rubbish!!! That 1 star is only because I needed to add it.Waited more than 30 minutes for a simple breakfast. When it eventually came eggs was burnt. Coffee also not the greatest. Completely different to what was ordered.

Bit noisy and draughty where we were put and even with a blocked nose, the smell of cigarette smoke from the smoking room we were seated next to was incredibly overpowering. We had awesome service from a lovely waitress and the food was really good. Rowdy crowds were in, which didnt make it ideal for a quiet family meal, and they gave the waiting staff a rough time. Will be back, but maybe on a different night or at a different time of day.

This a very upmarket Restaurant yet very casual.It is situated on SAPGA Golf Estate.It is nice to have a drink while watching live golf.The Restaurant is child friendly.I just love the out side seating with the green grass.The have happy hours.The staff is friendly and the service is great.The food is tastefully great.

Service from Blessing ( the waiter) was non existent, I had to make use of other waiters, Pizza was more sauce than filling. It had majority barbeque sauce on it.

Ate some food and drank some beer on a very quiet Sunday afternoon. Not the most spectacular outing, but definitely not the worst either. Our waiter was friendly and was around when we needed him.The jumping-castle for the kids was also a big hit, keeping the kids busy while the grown-ups socialized.

Nice pub for a beer and offers standard spur food type of place but needs some innovation to keep up. Lots of other places offer a whole more for the same price. Mostly friendly service and great that the driving range is joined to it.

Nice place to gather, but the bartenders can not be trusted. Please keep an eye on your bill when you pay when you opened a tab at the bar. They are known for adding additional costs to your bill. But otherwise very nice views and good drinks.

Cheap and NastyRestaurant has a nice location BUT it’s awful. Nachos were dry and lifeless and the frozen pizza with cheddar cheese just tops it off. Bathroom facilities are disgusting and dark with no ventilation at all.Gosh - someone fire the manager

NOT RECOMMENDED!This place is getting worse every time I go there. Today was the last straw. The service was terrible, the worst ever. The waiter did not remember entering and we had to keep on ordering the same thing over and over, even from the managment. It is like nobody even care about getting the orders correct and out on time. When the food came, they mixed up the orders and I must say, the food is average at best.There is a huge lack of managment and training. The ownership of this establishment should really get control back and train your people. This is not a place where I want to eat and spend my hard earned money.

Ladies toilets a disgrace. Hardly any lights working.. no hand towels or dryer and broken toilet seats.. reported to reception desk but her expression said she didnt give a damn

The restaurant is at a gholf driving range.You can have a few swings and then relax with drinks and a very delicious meal.Menu prices are market related.Watch out however for their specials.There is one almost every day of the week.Sushi and pasta dishes are often 40% off.Same goes for a sirloin steak 30% off.Ask the waiter for drink specials too..we got 2 double gin&tonics for the R50.Worth while😀They recently updated the look and feel of the place too.This is a place for all ages however it seems that mostly 20/30 somethings hang out here.
